[OVERVIEW]

* Moltres has a decent typing for stall as it provides a good Flame Orb Heracross, Pangoro and Escavalier answer combined with its speed tier. Although it gets heavily hindered by that it takes 50% from Stealth Rock every time it switches in.
* It also has a good enough speed tier as well as having a decent movepool to be able to run a Choice Scarf set rather well.
* Moltres also has the ability to run a Life Orb set to hit for more powerful damage of its 125 base Special Attack.
* It could run Grassium-Z instead of Life Orb to lure in Water types for a team-mate.

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========
* Air Slash provides Moltres with a strong STAB move which hits Heracross for super effective damage.
* Will-o-Wisp allows Moltres to cripple physical attackers like Pangoro and Escavalier by halving their attack stat.
* Substitute can be used over Will-o-Wisp if you want to use a SubToxic Moltres, although that would be the only time to use Substitute.
* Roost provides Moltres with reliable recovery so that it can repeatedly switch in to resisted attacks, even after Stealth Rocks.
* Flamethrower provides Moltres with something to hit Steel types for super effective damage.
* Toxic provides Moltres with something to get past bulky pokémon like non-Calm Mind Cresselia or defensive Milotic.
* Defog can be run if your team is in desperate need of hazard removal although it doesn't perform this task very well as it takes 50% from Stealth Rocks.

Set Details
========
* 216 speed evs with a Timid nature allows it to outspeed Jolly Heracross and Ohko it with Air Slash while 248 HP evs hits an odd number of HP so you can switch in on Stealth Rocks two times without recovery instead of once. The remaining evs are dumped into Defense to better tank physical hits.
* Leftovers give it 6% recovery each turn which is crucial for making 2hkos into 3hkos and 3hkos into 4hkos.
* Pressure can be used along with SubToxic to stall out the opponents pp quicker.
* Flame Body gives Moltres a 30% chance of burning the opponent if the opponent goes a for a contact move.
* 248 HP / 156 Def / 104 Spe Bold can be used if you want a bulkier spread while the speed allows it to outspeed Adamant Tyrantrum.

Usage Tips
========
* This set is a best fit for stall as stall appreciates the mons Moltres checks as well as giving some speed for an otherwise slow playstyle.
* Moltres will be a good switch-in for Escavalier even after Stealth Rocks but not a good switch-in to Heracross after rocks.
* If the opponent has Heracross and Pangoro don't let Moltres come out of the fight with Pangoro under 50% as then it can't revenge kill Heracross.

Team Options
========
* Pokémon such as Gligar, Mantine, and Donphan are a must on a team with Moltres as they provide hazard removal which Moltres needs.
* Quagsire, Dragalge, and Kommo-o are good team-mates for Moltres as they resist Water, Electric and even rock type attacks in Kommo-o's and Quagsire's case.
* If you use Moltres on a stall team then a Cleric would be a good team-mate as it makes it so that you don't die because of toxic or poison.

Moves
========
* Fire Blast provides Moltres with a powerful STAB move although it only has 85% accuracy.
* U-turn allows Moltres to pivot out on a switch it has forced which give momentum for the rest of its team.
* Hurricane provides Moltres with a STAB move to hit pokemon that resist Fire type attacks such as Kommo-o and Emboar.
* Flamethrower provides Moltres with a STAB move that has less power than Fire Blast, but Flamethrower can never miss.

Set Details
========
* Standard spread to maximize its speed as well as attack.
* Flame Body gives it a 30% chance to burn the opponent if they use a contact move.

Moves
========
* Fire Blast gives Moltres a very powerful STAB attack which hits pokemon such as Escavalier which don't take super effective damage from Hurricane.
* Hurricane is an extremely hard hitting STAB move with it hitting pokemon such as Kommo-o and Emboar for super effective damage.
* This slot is very customizable to your team as you can use Hidden Power Grass for water types such as Quagsire, U-turn to be able to gain momentum for your team, Hidden Power Electric to be able to hit pokemon such as Mantine for a lot of damage. Solar Beam can even be used in the combination with Grassium-Z.
* Roost provides Moltres with a good way of getting back health it has lost from either entry hazard damage or recoil from Life Orb.

Set Details
========
* The evs give Moltres as much speed as possible with the rest going into special attack to allow it to hit as hard as possible.
* Life Orb can be used to give all the moves a power boost while Grassium-Z can be used in conjunction with Solar Beam to get a 190 base power grass move for one turn.
* Flame body gives it a 30% chance to burn any pokémon that uses a contact move against it.
