Moltres @ Life Orb / Choice Specs
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hurricane
- Fire Blast
- Roost / Hidden Power Grass
- U-turn

Moltres has established its position as a devastating wallbreaker in the RU tier thanks to its high-powered STAB attacks and its high base 125 Special Attack. Its viability comes from its ability to beat threats such as Mega Steelix and Milotic and pivot out of walls like Diancie and Cresselia. Choice Specs increases Moltres's damage output but being locked into a move can make Moltres setup bait for Pokemon like Flygon and Feraligatr. Moltres’s typing allows it to switch into common Pokemon such as Shaymin, Mega Steelix, and Bronzong but causes it to take a crippling amount of damage from Stealth Rock. Hazard removers like Gligar, Rotom-C, Sigilyph, and Mega Blastoise are fantastic teammates; Rotom-C synergizes especially well with Moltres due to its typing. Hazard setters like Mega Steelix and Rhyperior are amazing teammates, as Stealth Rock helps Moltres 2HKO Pokemon such as Milotic and Mandibuzz. Moltres's STAB attacks are both innacurate, but this doesn't stop it from being a defining force in the RU metagame!

If you can do it concisely, mentioning why Rotom-C pairs well would probably be good, as I agree its the best partner w/ Moltres. Escav is kinda dead atm, I'd mention another Pokemon you switch into like Shaymin. Something about Hurricanes atrocious accuracy and Fire Blast not being much better definitely need to be mentioned, as that's one of its biggest downsides other than rocks weakness. Otherwise pretty good, gj with the relevant mon mentions.

Moltres has established its position as a devastating wallbreaker in the RU tier thanks to extremely high powered dual STAB attacks along with a threateningly high Special Attack stat of 125 its high-powered STAB attacks and its high base 125 Special Attack. Its ability to destroy common metagame Its viability comes from its ability to beat threats such as Mega Steelix and Milotic while simultaneasouly being able to and pivot out of walls like Diancie and Cresselia that beat it help bolster its viability. Specs boosts Moltres' damage output to insane levels but being locked into a move lets Pokemon like Flygon and Feraligatr freely set up on it. (AP) Choice Specs increases Moltres's damage output but being locked into a move can make Moltres setup bait for Pokemon like Flygon and Feraligatr. Moltres’s typing allows it to switch into common Pokemon such as Shaymin, Mega Steelix, and Bronzong, (RC) but leaves it in a difficult position as it takes a crippling amount of damage from the ever prevalent Stealth Rock, which is where teammates come in causes it to take a crippling amount of damage from Stealth Rock. Hazard removers like Gligar, Rotom-C, Sigilyph, and Mega Blastoise are fantastic teammates, (RC) and some of them, especially Rotom-C, synergize extremely well due to their typings; (ASC) Rotom-C synergizes especially well with Moltres due to its typing. Hazard setters like Mega Steelix and Rhyperior are amazing teammates, as their ability to set up Stealth Rock helps Moltres achieve vital 2HKOs against 2HKO Pokemon such as Milotic and Mandibuzz. The former option is an especially great teammate as it beats counters to Moltres like Rhyperior, Gigalith, and Diancie and can boost with Curse against Pokemon that Moltres has no chance against, such as Specially Defensive Cresselia and Porygon2. (Cut to more closely be at the 1000 char limit by request of author) Moltres also has accuracy issues as both of its STAB attacks have less than good accuracy Moltres's STAB attacks are both innacurate, but this doesn't stop it from being a defining force in the RU metagame!
