The format for MPL V is the following:
  • SM Monotype
  • SM Monotype
  • SM Monotype
  • SM Monotype
  • ORAS Monotype
  • ORAS Monotype
  • BW Monotype
  • Monotype Multigen Bo3 (BW/ORAS/SM)
The first match of Bo3 is up to the players involved, however if they fail to agree, SM monotype will be the first game. The following match will then be decided by the loser.

Manager Prices
For MPL V, manager prices were votes on by the managers themselves. They needed to rank each opposing manager at a price of either 15/20/25 K. The average of the votes rounded to either of those 3 prices is the price that the manager was attributed.

Retains
Every team will have the rights to retain one player from last year's team. If they are a new team, they will be given the player list of a defunct team. Retain price is the price they went for last year + 3k. If that sum is below 10k, the retain price will be 10k. The retained player must consent to being retained. Retains must be submitted by the night of Saturday the 22nd.

obii has had a change of heart and will no longer be participating in MPL V. Thus, his retain by the Littleroot Lotads has been cancelled.

Smub has not shown any sign of life since the draft. He has not responded to any attempt to invite him to his team discord.

For this inactivity, the Cinnabar Charizards will be dropping him as a player. They have selected martha as his replacement.

RE: Arkenciel vs MetaRiolu7

Although there was no replay saved for the ArkenCiel vs MetaRiolu7 battle, the game will still be counted for the following reasons:
- Host presence in the battle
- Acknowledgement of the game from the Two Island Tapus, MetaRiolu7's team
- Replays not being mentioned in the rules

However, from this point on, replays should at the minimum be saved. Not saving a replay of your game may lead to it not counting.
