Team Monotype Winter Premier Discussion Thread [See Post #132 for draft date and time]

Not open for further replies.
Inspired by the recent change of Monotype finally becoming official, I decided to categorize some of Monotype's most iconic users (both old and new) based on their moral alignment. This is the final result:

Lawful Good:
A lawful good character acts as a good person is expected or required to act. He combines a commitment to oppose evil with the discipline to fight relentlessly. He tells the truth, keeps his word, helps those in need, and speaks out against injustice. A lawful good character hates to see the guilty go unpunished.
Neutral Good:
A neutral good character does the best that a good person can do. He is devoted to helping others. He works with kings and magistrates but does not feel beholden to them.
Chaotic Good:
A chaotic good character acts as his conscience directs him with little regard for what others expect of him. He makes his own way, but he's kind and benevolent. He believes in goodness and right but has little use for laws and regulations. He hates it when people try to intimidate others and tell them what to do. He follows his own moral compass, which, although good, may not agree with that of society.
Lawful Neutral:
A lawful neutral character acts as law, tradition, or a personal code directs her. Order and organization are paramount to her. She may believe in personal order and live by a code or standard, or she may believe in order for all and favor a strong, organized government.
True Neutral:
A neutral character does what seems to be a good idea. She doesn't feel strongly one way or the other when it comes to good vs. evil or law vs. chaos. Most neutral characters exhibit a lack of conviction or bias rather than a commitment to neutrality. Such a character thinks of good as better than evil-after all, she would rather have good neighbors and rulers than evil ones. Still, she's not personally committed to upholding good in any abstract or universal way.
Chaotic Neutral:
A chaotic neutral character follows his whims. He is an individualist first and last. He values his own liberty but doesn't strive to protect others' freedom. He avoids authority, resents restrictions, and challenges traditions. A chaotic neutral character does not intentionally disrupt organizations as part of a campaign of anarchy. To do so, he would have to be motivated either by good (and a desire to liberate others) or evil (and a desire to make those different from himself suffer). A chaotic neutral character may be unpredictable, but his behavior is not totally random. He is not as likely to jump off a bridge as to cross it.
Lawful Evil:
A lawful evil villain methodically takes what he wants within the limits of his code of conduct without regard for whom it hurts. He cares about tradition, loyalty, and order but not about freedom, dignity, or life. He plays by the rules but without mercy or compassion. He is comfortable in a hierarchy and would like to rule, but is willing to serve. He condemns others not according to their actions but according to race, religion, homeland, or social rank. He is loath to break laws or promises.
Neutral Evil:
A neutral evil villain does whatever she can get away with. She is out for herself, pure and simple. She sheds no tears for those she kills, whether for profit, sport, or convenience. She has no love of order and holds no illusion that following laws, traditions, or codes would make her any better or more noble. On the other hand, she doesn't have the restless nature or love of conflict that a chaotic evil villain has.
Chaotic Evil:
A chaotic evil character does whatever his greed, hatred, and lust for destruction drive him to do. He is hot-tempered, vicious, arbitrarily violent, and unpredictable. If he is simply out for whatever he can get, he is ruthless and brutal. If he is committed to the spread of evil and chaos, he is even worse. Thankfully, his plans are haphazard, and any groups he joins or forms are poorly organized. Typically, chaotic evil people can be made to work together only by force, and their leader lasts only as long as he can thwart attempts to topple or assassinate him.

S/o Pearl for the idea, and zarif and the rest of woa for help on organizing

Everyday until the draft commences I will list off people who, no matter what immaculate thing you try, will not be drafted. This will be called "No Days till Draft Day" as these players will get nothing. The first two...Akashi,Confluxx. Till next year, fight your hearts out. May god be with you in these tough times. The next announced name will be tomorrow.

special thanks to torkool (Moosical) for putting this together in photoshop and Endal for writing half of this and helping me organize this
Eien is one of biggest snakes in Monotype snaking Stunfisk the Great.. Eien is beyond saving taking away Balto’s championship in MPL III. Many people consider Eien to be one of the best despite his questionable ways of eliminating nuisances to his end goal. He’s a true Cupcake like KD.
Sabella doesn’t show in the regular season because it’s not a sprint it’s a marathon in his mind but in playoffs he proves to us why he’s one of the great with his coaching overriding his puppet I mean manager Freeroamer. People doubt his ability to be “clutch” but he knows how to win. Sabella knows like Lebron he can carry a team of scrubs to a finals appearance before getting swept.
Lax wants to win if you hax him or one of teammates he’s going to let you know that you’re bad and aren’t as good as him. Acast on the other hand throws Lax under the bus telling him he is a big baby and shouldn’t be leading a team and works on giving Lax another technical. Acast is far past his prime days but in the playoffs all of sudden he’s the most impactful player.
All authority is after Bush, he just wants to win and people hate him for doing the dirty work that nobody likes to do. If Bush is on your team he’s your best friend but if he isn’t you want his ass suspended because he did some dumb shit to Kevinelf.
People doubt Paleo’s abilities but they forget he revolutionized Monotype a couple years ago. He’s generally really humble and takes a step back for the sake of winning. Paleo went from most unappreciated players to one of the most appreciated players in such as short amount of time. People talk shit about Curry being weak and say he’s washed with KD like people say Paleo isn’t one of best, but he’ll torch you underestimate him for a second.
People forget that it wasn’t that long ago when Thorn was considered one of the next players to break the game. Thorn is the most versatile being able to handle any opponent never backing away from a challenge as many consider him to be the best player in the league after a stellar MPL III run. He might be most improved player on top of taking home another MVP showing his unique skillset.
Entei has to deal with it all whether it’s finding evidence that DEG roleplays with some random side server user, it’s hard being a leader when nobody listens to what the fuck he has to say because he been close to winning anything of meaning yet.
He always gets snubbed out of so many wins despite being one of the best players to play. He is always the MVP of his team, but few people understand what he does behind the scenes whether it’s ghost or building that heat team to beat rnbs.
One of upcoming players that just came up way too fast. He’s proven that any random dude can be one of the best if they put the work in despite the haters of New York doubting him he’s proving that he can perform in the spotlight.
Attribute is small, but he never back from a challenge from the big and scary Monotype players despite being small compared he easily gets by.
Lycan gives no fucks about loyalty because he just wants to lead a team to prove that he’s the reason why some of these so called “superstars” have any achievements. Lycan is the definition of clutch coming through in tiebreakers, a calculated assassin.
rnbs has been snaked by Lycan and Eien alike multiple times and is tired of being left alone to carry shitty teams aka Devious Diancies. However, he had teammates that get so lucky and had to deal with one of the worst team environments and an interesting coach DEG (Billy Donvan).
Wanka being from Philly trusts the process and is ready to prove that he was never up and coming, he was just always the best. He’ll make sure if you lose all of Phili twitter will know.
Kawhi Leonard is famous for his pokerface in the NBA, and similarily Vid is someone you just can't seem to read. He thrives in a team environment and will adjust his game to help his team win when they need it. He may be quiet and calm on the outside but when the time comes to play he'll remind you why people consider him one of monotype's best players.
Dubbed the Azure manager for MWP, just like Demar is the bridge that links Canada to the United States in the NBA, Ridley is the bridge that connects Main and Azure.
Washed up but still can show up when needed, need we say more? WE THE NORTH.
Forming the one two punch with Lax, this bangladesh/indian can dominate games with his trusty unibrow.
Humble and quiet, an under the radar player who always manages to pull out wins and help lead his team to the playoffs
The 2nd of the one two punch, if the Grizzlies were monothreat players Ross should no doubt be considered the best. Helpful and humble, he can always make an impact for his team when needed.
Hssssssssssssssssssssssssssss, if WoA was Iggy Azelea Zarif ruined any chance that Confluxx has with her.
Shows up when needed and knows how to lead a team even with subpar supporting cast.
An enemy to Demarcus Cousins, the constant flopping makes KevinElf a huge target for Lax in their little beef.
Like Tristan Thompson, Yaksok excels in only one department. (Rebounding/AAA mono) Somehow that earned him an overpriced contract which like his last MPL run has been nothing but disappointment.
An up and coming player in the monotype scene, Like Karl Anthony Towns, if PCM just works on a few things he could be one of the best in monotype.
An ArkenCiel in an individual tournament has been proven to be impressive just like Kevin Love and his days in Minnesota. However in a more team-oriented environment, he seems to be struggling to assist in winning. Are his best days behind him like Kevin Love’s days in Minnesota?
If Clearly runs the Rockets, then Misaka is the perfect 6th (wo)man to her beloved Clearly's team. A great supporting player, Misaka will show up and help out her team if they are struggling doing things alone.
Despite having no real individual accomplishments, Dethroner, like Brian Scalabrine, is widely considered by all his peers and fans the Greatest of All Time. Just like his 2008 nba ring, Dethroner’s team did actually win a tournament called the ULC once. This fact is something he won’t let anyone in the community forget, despite him mostly cheering from the sidelines.

The "No Days till Draft Day list" is now announcing its third name on the list. This user has tried to put himself out there, however has failed miserably and is now hoping to get drafted for a Monotype PL after so many attempts. No one bothers with the insects on the ground, so why likewise why bother with this user. With a 0% success rate, your work is all for naught. The user? Miyoka.. I wish you the best of luck, but if past results could speak words it would tell you "Hey pal, maybe pokemon just isnt for you!". The next name shall be announced soon. Till then, Au Revoir!

Players that use "Alliance" in their name. Please please please please don't draft anyone in this group. To be honest, this sort of overlaps with literally all of the others but by god this is the most important thing you can get from this. I don't even know what to say that I haven't. It's like someone took all six things I said were bad and put them into a single group of people. Watch out. You might be tempted but just remember who their real boss is. If you buy one of these I'll never forgive you.
  1. Bushtush: if u dont leader me now im going to post pics of you shirtless
  2. Alliance Diag: do it
