Currently, the counters for field affects (Trick Room, Tailwind, weather, screens, etc) in the top left of the screen appear to be in the background of the frame, i.e. if anything else is in frame it will be displayed over these counters. This usually isn't a problem because their location means that usually nothing is ever present on that part of the screen. However, some larger sprites (notably dynamaxed Pokemon) take up a lot more space and will cover up these counters. Pictures to illustrate what I mean are included in the hide tags below.
This is pretty inconvenient for the Gmax Hatterene player here, it's hard to tell which counter is for which field effect without losing time either deducing based on when sand and TR were set or just counting the characters, and that time is much better spent actually playing the game. The argument that this is purely aesthetic isn't really valid either because this information is readily available when you're playing on cartridge. It's not gamebreaking by any means, but it's a slight disadvantage to the Hatterene player since the opponent doesn't have this issue.

If there is a way to have these counters display on top of the sprites in the same way that the turn counter does, that would be super helpful!
