Ahem, anyway, Rico starts this round off by preparing its defenses for the onslaught that is about to come, while Sirius tries to detect his opponent's actions to dodge them. Nothing to dodge this time, but Rico has fallen into a Light Sleep.
While Rico is sleeping, Sirius takes advantage by...raising its own defenses? That must have sounded better in MrcRanger's head... :P.
Rico finally wakes up, and attacks Sirius with a Force Palm...and surprisingly it hits! Turns out that foresight is really handy huh? Anyway, Sirius laughs at this predicament and Meteor Mashes Rico.
I'm at a loss for words as to how this round went. Let's see what will happen next.

Having gained a second wind, the wanderer thought about what to do. Rico didn't need to renew foresight until next round, but he was not weak enough to take advantage of reversal yet. Perhaps try and attempt paralyzing Sirius again?
Prep yourself with a swords dance and force palm her again! If she tries to block it, chill! Finish it off with Blaze Kick!

Welcome back folks! After finally fixing that reffing error I'm back and ready for reffing!
Rico gets a couple of ceremonial swords again and boost his attack, while Sirius tries to slam him with the force of a Meteor, but somehow it missed!
Rico uses the last of his foresight actions to attempt to paralyze Sirius with a Force Palm...and it works! Sirius ends up paralyzed, but still pulls out a Metal Burst which does massive damage.
Rico then uses one of his feet to Blaze Kick the ghost. And what do you know, it crits! Seriously?! Mrc Ranger, did you desecrate an altar to Arceus, rob a tomb, go into necromancy or something? At least it's not all bad luck, as Sirius ignores the paralysis again and Metal Bursts again.
Mrc Ranger has the advantage as far as Health goes, but Sirius is exhausted and crippled, while Riolu still has plenty of fight left.

It worked! Sirius was paralyzed, and Rico was now weak enough to take advantage of reversal! However, the riolu's wounds were grave enough that Curse's upcoming shadow sneak combo could potentially cause the wanderer's plan to backfire. Even though he could see that fortune was on his side, he didn't like gambling, as several unlucky moments in his past could attest. However, he had no choice here. He and Rico would put their faith in this final attack...
Rico! Renew your foresight, and annihilate her with a dual reversal!
Sirius starts this round off with a desperation Shadow Sneak combo. This does just enough damage to knock out Rico, but the energy cost also dealt with Sirius.
Well, now it seems both trainers are back on even footing. Who will win?

Rico managed to stand long enough to limp back to his trainer, but collapsed after doing so. "You did the best you could," the wanderer said with a smile. "Rest now." The riolu nodded, and dozed off instantly.
This was it - both his and Curse's last respective pokemon would take the field. He couldn't afford to screw up here...
He cast out his final warrior. "Alexander! Avenge your comrades!"
After you scare your foe with intimidate, paralyze him with thunder wave! Then wreck him with fire and ice fang, respectively! If the skorupi digs at all, use protect when he surfaces!

Excellent. Burned AND paralyzed. However, the wanderer wasn't out of the woods just yet - Curse's Skorupi still had the advantage of both energy and health. However, with Scorpio's superior speed neutralized, Alexander could now go on the offensive.

Alexander opens up this round with his newfound speed and bites the Skorupi with Ice Fangs, while Scorpio retaliates with an astounding 6 hits of Pin Missile. That Bug STAB effect really helps a lot doesn't it?
Alexander goes back to biting with Fiery fangs, while Scorpio launches another barrage of 6 Pin Missiles. Apparently Curse is having some luck now.
Again, Alex bites the Skorupi with Ice Fangs, but he's looking really tired. Finally, Scorpio seals the deal with a Venoshock. Alex is thrown backwards...
He gets up, and then he faints due to poison.
