[OVERVIEW]

Muk has a few things going for it in UU. It has a very high HP stat, a good Attack stat, and a decent movepool that allows it to choose coverage moves to run. It also possesses one of the strongest Explosions in the tier. However, that is where the positives end. Its defenses are only mediocre, and, along with its low Speed, this means it is easily revenge killed by super effective coverage. It is outsped by two of the tier's offensive powerhouses, Dugtrio and Hypno, and is 2HKOed by both of them. When it comes to Poison-types in UU, there is Tentacruel, a vastly superior Pokemon in almost every aspect, and as such, Muk is usually not seen on competitive teams.

[SET]
(remove line break)
Name: Physical Attacker
move 1: Sludge
move 2: Body Slam
move 3: Hyper Beam / Thunderbolt
move 4: Explosion

[SET COMMENTS]

Sludge is Muk's strongest attack that does not have a drawback, and it has the added chance of poisoning foes to push them into KO range. Body Slam is another decently strong attack that can hit Poison-resistant Pokemon somewhat hard, such as the aforementioned Dugtrio and Tentacruel, while also threatening switch-ins with the threat of paralysis. Hyper Beam lets Muk pick off weakened Pokemon that would otherwise live another attack. Alternatively, Thunderbolt is an option to hit certain Water- and Flying-types, such as Omastar and Aerodactyl, harder than other moves. Fire Blast is a niche option that allows Muk to hit Venusaur hard and also comes with a nice 30% chance to burn, allowing Muk to cripple physical attackers that switch in and nullifying Wrap users. Finally, Explosion is Muk's best asset, dealing massive damage to anything that does not resist it and KOing many threats after some chip damage. It also gives a free switch into a frail sweeper such as Kadabra or Dugtrio when used, as well as making sure paralysis does not completely disable Muk.

Banned deucer.
It has a very high HP stat and a good Attack stat,
May be worth noting that Muk is 5HKOed by Seismic Toss and Night Shade somewhere. Makes it a nice way of absorbing it. Examples of users include Hypno, Haunter and Kadabra. Not ideal mons to be running into, but it's there and you can switch around.

Its Defense is only decent, and its other two stats are awful.
This is a bit vague at face value. Since this comprises Special, Defense and Speed, you may want to turn this into something going over its bulk relative to its Speed. Something like "Muk's defenses are quite mediocre, which when coupled with its poor Speed, makes it easily revenge killed by super-effective coverage" could work.

When it comes to Poison types in UU, there is Tentacruel, a vastly superior Pokemon in almost every aspect. Overall, Muk is mostly overshadowed by Tentacruel and only has very specific situations where it is useful.
These sentences could be merged, and then ended with a definitive statement like "and as such, it almost never sees use on competitive teams".

Fire Blast is a niche option that allows Muk to do good damage to certain Pokemon like Venusaur and Tangela.
"allows Muk to hit Venusaur and Tangela" makes this less verbose. Go on to mention the 30% Burn chance as well, since Muk can use it to burn Tentacruel, which fucks up its Wrap really hard.

It also gives a free switch into a frail sweeper when used
May as well chuck Kadabra and Dugtrio into this line so the reader has some examples to play with.

I would remove Fire Blast from the set so move 3 is only Hyper Beam/Thunderbolt. You mention in the set comments that it's a niche option and I agree, considering Sludge hits Tangela for the exact same damage (this calc surprised me tbh but they're the exact same damage) so really it only does more damage against Venusaur. For that reason, I think keeping the mention in set comments but removing the slashed option from the set is probably for the best.

Other than that, QC 2/2

It also possesses one of the strongest Explosions in the tier. However, that is where the positives end. Its Ddefenses are only mediocre, and, along with its low sSpeed, this means it is easily revenge killed by super-effective effective (RH) coverage. When it comes to Poison types-types (AH) in UU, there is Tentacruel, a vastly superior Pokemon in almost every aspect which mostly overshadows Muk, and as such, it, (implied) and as such, Muk is usually not seen on competitive teams.

[SET COMMENTS]

Muk is given a somewhat decent movepool, and has a few options to work with. (fluff + already stated in overview) Sludge is Muk's (ASCII apostrophe) strongest attack that does not have a drawback, and it has the added chance of Poisoning opponentpoisoning foes to push them into KO range. Body Slam is another decently strong attack that can hit Pokemon that resist Poisonison-resistant Pokemon (less clunky) somewhat hard, such as the aforementioned Dugtrio and Tentacruel, while also denying switch-ins throughthreatening switch-ins with (switch-in with a hyphen refers to a Pokemon that is used to switch in on a Pokemon to check/counter/force it out) the threat of paralysis. Hyper Beam is tolets Muk pick off weakened Pokemon that would otherwise live another attack from Muk. Alternatively, Thunderbolt is an option to hit certain Water- and Flying-types harder than other moves, such as Omastar and Aerodactyl, harder than other moves. Fire Blast is a niche option that allows Muk to hit Venusaur hard. Fire Blast and also comes with a nice 30% chance to burn, cripplingallowing Muk to cripple physical attackers that switch in and nullifying Wrap users. Finally, Explosion is Muk’s best asset, coming off a good base 105 attack,'s (ASCII apostrophe) best asset, (the atk doesn't really mean anything here, so it's just fluff) dealing massive damage to anything that does not resist it and KOing many threats after some chip damage. It also gives a free switch into a frail sweeper such as Kadabra or Dugtrio when used, as well as making sure Pparalysis does not completely disable Muk.
