With a high HP stat, decent Special Defense stat in conjunction in Eviolite make Munchlax one of PU's best dedicated specially defensive walls alongside Type: Null. What Munchlax offers over Type: Null is its Fire and Ice resistance thanks to its ability Thick Fat, which make it a slightly better check to threatening special wallbreakers like Choice Specs Glaceon and Mr. Rime. Body Slam is Munchlax's STAB which has a chance of paralysis. Toxic can cripple incoming switchins to Munchlax like Gourgeist-XL or Hitmontop. Rest ensures Munchlax gets healthy enough in order to carry out its role since it has no reliably recovery and Sleep Talk lets Munchlax be active for the turns it is asleep, being able to potentially Toxic more opposing pokemon. Whirlwind is also an option that allows Munchlax to phaze out incoming switchins and is quite beneficial if on hazard stacking teams.

Munchlax is preferred to be on bulkier balance teams or stall and compliments well with cleric support from the likes of Vespiquen. Vespiquen is able to use Aromatherapy to wake up Munchlax instantly if it used Rest and Munchlax can handle the Ice- and Electric-type pokemon that threaten Vespiquen such as Manectric and the aforementioned Glaceon and Mr. Rime. Munchlax also appreciates physically defensive partners that can handle its Fighting-type weakness. Examples of this are Musharna and Mareanie. Musharna offers the same cleric support as Vespiquen via Heal Bell while checking common threats to Munchlax such as Falinks and Hitmontop and Mareanie can set Toxic Spikes which works well with Munchlax using Whirlwind to inflict crippling poison on opposing Pokemon.

Rime I would rly mention any other cleric, the ice checking synergy is something but vespiquen should not be running aromatherapy in general which rly makes it a poor example. One pokemon that also pairs well with Munchlax is Gourgeist-XL. Munchlax is able to handle the Ice-types like Galarian Mr. Mime and Glaceon while Gourgeist-XL can deal with threatening physical wallbreakers that Munchlax cannot deal with such as Basculin and Falinks, forming a solid defensive core. Pawniard is also a good offensive partner to Munchlax, being able to switch into Knock Off from opposing Pawniard I would not use pawniard to switch into other pawniard, especially if im using rocks so it's probably not brick break and is also able to set up Stealth Rock in conjunction with Munchlax's Toxic, wearing down opposing pokemon much easier. Furthermore, Pawniard appreciates the paralysis from Munchlax's Body Slam which enables Pawniard to have an easier time against faster threats like Mr. Mime.
you have very specific examples but not general archetypes, which makes this section worse imo. it's one thing to mention a single useful partner, but when it's all that and not larger statements like "try to fit a fat grass with this" or w/e it's not giving people as many options. also pawniard just makes almost no sense as a partner and isn't justified very well. I would just get this section expanded a bit.
