This is the first proper team i have ever made, i started playing three weeks ago and i know this team isnt the best so i would like as much advice/criticism as possible
Nidoqueen @ Lum Berry
Ability: Poison Point
EVs: 252 HP/200 Def/12 SpD/44 Spe
Nature: Bold
- Taunt
- Stealth Rock
- Ice Beam
- Earth Power
This thing is Purely Amazing, it almost never dies, this thing can survive alot while Setting up rocks and stopping slower pokemon from setting up, Defense EVs make it strong enough to Survive 2 Earthquakes from a Scarfed Primeape and 2 Leaf Storms from a Scarfed Venusaur
Houndoom @ Life Orb
Ability: Flash Fire
Hasty Nature
EVs: 156 Atk/128 SAtk/224 Spe
~Pursuit
~Sucker Punch
~Fire Blast
~Dark Pulse
This is Dekzeh's Houndoom from his RMT, it has Enough EVs to OHKO Steelix with Fire Blast, Dark Pulse over Crunch for Better Damage on Slowbro. With these Speed EVs it Outspeed Rotoms, i use this pokemon to get rid of Ghost's Like Mismagius and Rotom with Pursuit. if they dont switch on the first turn they are not going to on the second turn because of Pursuit so i will use Sucker Punch/Dark Pulse(Dark Pulse if im Faster and Sucker Punch if they are faster)
Sceptile @ Choice Specs
Ability: Overgrow
EVs: 252 SpA/252 Spe(im not sure were the last 4 EVs are)
Nature: Timid
- Energy Ball
- Leaf Storm
- Focus Blast
- Hidden Power{Ice}
My Most Useful pokemon, Specs Leaf Storm does alot of damage even if they Resist, HP Ice is for Dragons while Focus Blast is for Fire Types who try and switch in. Energy Ball is for late game so i dont have to switch as much. Leaf Storm Always 2HKOs Spiritomb after Stealth Rocks, was thinking about getting a new Sceptile with a different moveset: Leaf Storm, Focus Blast, Dragonpulse and HP{Electric} Which would be better my current one or the moveset i just listed?
Mesprit @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/124 Def/36 SpA/96 SpD
Nature: Bold
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
- Psychic
- U-Turn
This is the Anti-Sweeper set, it comes in on Psychic or Fighting Attacks. Not many people expect a Mesprite to be Bulky and do damage at the same time. this is the main counter to pokemon who have Priority. Its my only pokemon with an Electric type attack so i try and keep it hidden untill the last couple of pokemon then i bring it out and sweep
Azumarill @ Choice Band
Ability: Hugh Power
EVs: 240 HP/252 Atk/16 Spe
Nature: Adamant
- Aqua Jet
- Waterfall
- Superpower
- Double Edge
This thing is absolutely Amazing, Normally Aqua Jet against stuff faster then me. if im predicting a switch i will use Waterfall or Superpower, Double Edge is for Grass and Poison pokemon like Venusaur and other pokemon who switch in thinking they can wall me. im thinking about switching Choice Band to Muscle Band because i keep getting walled by ghost's and fire type pokemon when i over/under predict
Spiritomb @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP/140 Atk/116 SpD
Nature: Careful
- Sucker Punch
- Pursuit
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split
The Ultimate Utility Pokemon for my Team, it switches into a Psychic or Fighting type move and Attack or Disable. Pursuit normally goes first to stop them from attempting to switch then Sucker Punch on the 2nd turn for the kill, Not many people expect Spiritomb to have both Sucker Punch and Pursuit
Please give as much Criticism as Possible, i am willing to switch all the pokemon out for better pokemon
