1v1 Naganadel Analysis (QC 3/3) (GP 2/2)

[OVERVIEW]

Naganadel's Speed, Special Attack, and access to powerful STAB moves like Draco Meteor and Sludge Wave allow it to outspeed and OHKO many Dragon-, Grass-, and Fairy-type Pokemon such as Zygarde-C, Kommo-o, non-Choice Scarf or specially defensive Tapu Lele, Tapu Fini, and Jumpluff, as well as Normalium Z or Choice Specs Porygon-Z and non-Choice Scarf Garchomp. Furthermore, a strong coverage move in Fire Blast lets it hit Steel-type Pokemon that resist its STAB attacks for super effective damage. However, Naganadel has rather low defensive stats, making it very weak to opposing Pokemon that can outspeed or tank a hit and retaliate with either super effective attacks like Outrage and Earthquake from Mega Gyarados or powerful STAB moves like Giga Impact from Mega Lopunny, and Ice Beam from Greninja. Naganadel's shallow movepool leaves it with only Draco Meteor, Sludge Wave, and Fire Blast as clear options for moves without many choices for a fourth, making it a very linear Pokemon.

Moves
========
Draco Meteor is Naganadel’s hardest-hitting STAB move that should be used when the rest of Naganadel's moves aren't super effective, such as against Porygon-Z or Landorus-T, and on other Dragon-types, like Zygarde-C and Kommo-o. Sludge Wave is best used against opposing Fairy- and Grass-types such as Tapu Lele and Jumpluff. Fire Blast is Naganadel’s hardest-hitting coverage move that is best used against Steel-types such as Genesect, Kartana, offensive Magearna, and Mega Metagross. Hidden Power Rock is used to better Naganadel's matchup versus both Mega Charizard X and Mega Charizard Y, allowing Naganadel to OHKO Mega Charizard Y and OHKO specially defensive Mega Charizard X should it opt to not Mega Evolve.

Set Details
========
Maximum Speed investment paired with a Timid nature allows Naganadel to outspeed as much as possible, most notably base 110 Speed Pokemon like Jumpluff. Maximum Special Attack investment allows Naganadel to hit as hard as it can while still retaining maximum Speed by nature. 4 Special Defense EVs cause Choice Scarf Genesect's Download to boost Attack instead of Special Attack, which is crucial when Naganadel is against it.

Usage Tips
========
Naganadel is generally a fairly simple Pokemon that should be used to OHKO Pokemon like Zygarde and Tapu Lele without the need of setting up or stalling. Naganadel is best used against Pokemon with fairly low Special Defense like Kartana or Pokemon that it can hit super effectively like Zygarde and Genesect. Naganadel does not survive many hits, so it struggles to deal with Pokemon that are faster than it like Mega Lopunny and Greninja. Naganadel also struggles with specially defensive walls that it fails to OHKO like Chansey and Meloetta. Naganadel cannot deal with Pokemon with the ability Sturdy like Donphan and Crustle, as they will always survive its moves from full health and can retaliate to KO. If you think an opposing Charizard will Mega Evolve, Naganadel should use Draco Meteor instead of Hidden Power Rock. Otherwise, Naganadel should use Hidden Power Rock against Charizard the rest of the time.

Team Options
========
Naganadel synergizes well with Ground-type Pokemon like Bulldoze Donphan and Landorus-T due to their ability to break Steel-types that Naganadel struggles with, like bulky Magearna, and take down Mega Lopunny, which can outspeed and OHKO Naganadel. Naganadel also covers many of Donphan and Landorus-T's counters like Jumpluff, Primarina, and Tapu Lele in return. Fire-types like Mega Charizard Y and Incineroar similarly are great teammates thanks to their ability to defeat Steel-type Pokemon Naganadel can't beat such as Jirachi and Aegislash. A bulky Mega Charizard Y can beat Greninja and Lopunny as well, which Naganadel struggles with. Naganadel has difficulties with Pokemon that run Sturdy, namely Donphan and Golem, so another good teammate would be Mega Gyarados thanks to its access to Mold Breaker. In return, Naganadel helps to deal with Fairy- and Grass-types that Gyarados struggles with, such as Tapu Fini and Jumpluff. Physical attackers like Sawk and Mega Medicham are also good teammates for Naganadel, as they are able to break specially defensive Pokemon that Naganadel can't deal with like Chansey and Hoopa-U.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============
A Modest nature is an alternative to Timid for Naganadel to run. With Modest, it underspeeds Pokemon like Jumpluff and Mega Lucario but has better rolls against Pokemon like bulky Magearna and Mega Mawile. When Naganadel is Modest, it can also run Thunderbolt over Hidden Power Rock to have a consistently winning matchup against Mega Slowbro. Dragonium Z is an option for Naganadel, allowing it to boost the power of Draco Meteor to the same level of running Choice Specs once while also allowing Naganadel to use Nasty Plot and break Pokemon such as Mega Slowbro and Sableye. Dragonium Z's flaw is that it makes Naganadel unable to deal with Pokemon like Mega Gardevoir and Tapu Lele. Poisonium Z also allows Naganadel to break through similar special walls and deal with Fairy-type Pokemon like Mega Gardevoir and Tapu Lele, but Naganadel loses out on other matchups such as against specially defensive Zygarde, Mega Mawile, and Landorus-T that Choice Specs and Dragonium Z would otherwise allow it to win. Modest Choice Scarf is another option for Naganadel, allowing it to outspeed Pokemon such as Greninja and other Choice Scarf users like Jirachi. Firium Z is another possible item for Naganadel, boosting Fire Blast's damage. This allows Naganadel to guarantee a KO against non-heavy Special Defense-invested Steel-type Pokemon like Mega Metagross and Magearna. Air Slash is an alternative option to Hidden Power Rock, covering Pokemon like Mega Heracross. Signal Beam is also an option to cover Hoopa-U.

Checks and Counters
===================
**Specially Bulky Offense**: Offensive Pokemon that invest in their special bulk such as Magearna, Mega Metagross, Mega Gyarados, Meloetta, and Dragonite can tank a hit from Naganadel and KO it in return.

**Sturdy Pokemon**: Study Pokemon like Crustle, Donphan, and Golem are guaranteed to survive a hit from Naganadel and then KO it in return.

**Special Walls**: Naganadel struggles to break through special walls like Type: Null, Chansey, and Porygon2, unless it has Nasty Plot.

**Faster Pokemon**: While Naganadel is fast, it is not the fastest Pokemon in the tier. Its meager defenses allow it to be reliably eliminated by faster Pokemon like Mega Lopunny, Greninja, Zeraora, and Choice Scarf Pokemon like Excadrill and Haxorus. However, Choice Scarf Naganadel can lure these Pokemon in and proceed to KO them.

- Nagandel has access (to) powerful STAB moves like Draco Meteor and Sludge Wave,
-Maybe note that its not only vs bulkier but generally aimed vs stallers and give an example of one in brackets
-Mention that scarf lele while being not the most popular set is a possibility and can nieche take a win off of it so it is not a guaranteed lele beater as long as its the specs set.
- Naganadel does not live many hits so it struggles to deal with pokemon that are faster than it, like Lopunny-Mega and Greninja Naganadel.
- Physical attackers are also good teammates for Naganadel, as they are able to break special walls that Naganadel can’t deal with, like Chansey ( i feel like that only goes for physical attackers who are either super effective or have setup moves/ sub if you give the example of chansey, and maybe mention that hte nasty plot set can beat chansey)

Bolded is additions, strikethrough is stuff that should be removed, underline needs to be edited in some way, red is comments. All information I bring are based on 1630 Usage stats (considering anything at or above 6% as of Jan 2019 usage relevant) and Calcs.

[OVERVIEW]

- Naganadel is a Fast Dragon-Poison special-type attacker with a high special attack stat.
- Nagandel has access to powerful STAB moves like Draco Meteor and Sludge Wave, other strong coverage moves like Fire Blast and Thunderbolt, you don't mention this move anywhere else and setup moves like Nasty Plot and Substitute same here, you don't talk about this which can be effective against bulkier Pokemon. such as?
- Naganadel’s speed and special attack allow it to outspeed and OHKO many Pokemon that its STAB moves are super effective against like Dragon, Grass, and Fairy-type Pokemon, such as Zygarde-C, Kommo-o, non-Choice Scarf or specially defensive Tapu-Lele that anti-zard y spread lives 70% of the time, and Tapu Fini, and Jumpluff (when Timid), since you only have timid naga, no need to say this while also being able to outspeed and OHKO both forms of non-Choice Scarfed Landorus therian or incarnate?, along with non-Choice Scarfed I'd say "Normalium Z and Choice Specs", since the other two items are Choice Scarf and Custap Berry Porygon-Zs and non-Choice Scarf (if you add the above note) Garchomps.
- Nagandel has rather low defensive stats, making it very weak to opposing Pokemon that outspeed or can tank a hit and retaliate with either super effective attacks or powerful STAB moves like Outrage or Earthquake from Mega Gyarados, Giga Impact from Mega Lopunny, and Ice Beam from Greninja.

Moves
========
- Draco Meteor is Naganadel’s hardest hitting STAB move, with a base power of 130. Draco Meteor should be used when none of the rest of Naganadel’s moves are super effective, such as Porygon-Z or non-Substitute Blaziken, and also on other Dragon types, like Zygarde-C or Kommo-o.
-Sludge Wave is Naganadel’s other choice of STAB move that does not hit as hard as Draco Meteor. Sludge Wave is best used against opposing Pokemon that are weak to poison, like Fairy types and Grass Types, such as Jumpluff or Tapu Lele.
- Fire Blast is Naganadel’s hardest hitting coverage move. Fire Blast is best used against Pokemon that Sludge Wave is not effective against but Fire Blast is, like Steel types such as Genesect and Kartana, or offensive Magearnas and Mega Metagrosses that aren’t specially bulky and able to live Naganadel’s Fire Blast.
- Hidden Power Rock is used to better Naganadel’s matchup versus both Charizards, making it a 50/50 versus Specially Defensive Mega Charizard X, and allowing Naganadel to OHKO non-specially bulky Mega Charizard Y. This seems more of a cteam/oo rather than something that should be a standard set. Granted, spdef Char x is good, but its not used as much as offensive, so Draco Meteor would be the right play most of the time. You also beat Char Y with two draco meteors. Let's discuss in qc discord
- Air Slash is an extra coverage that allows Naganadel to have matchups versus Mega Venusaur or Volcarona most Volcarona are spdef, they can tank one and quiver, bug buzz turn two or heal, then buginium when they're in swarm, as Naganadel no longer receives a SpA drop from Draco Meteor while still hitting them hard. Air Slash also has a 30% flinch chance, which when lucky, can be used to win some unfavorable matchups like vs Sturdy Pokemon. mention that this isn't a surefire strategy and should only be used as a last resort

Set Details
========
- 184 Speed EVs with Timid nature allows Naganadel to outspeed all 110 base speed, like Jumpluff, and Mega Lucario.
- 224 Special Attack EVs allows Naganadel to hit as hard as it can while still outspeeding Mega Lucario. not really needed, just talk about mons this let naga beats.
- 100 Special Defense EVs are given to make Download boost Attack, which is useful against Choice Scarf Genesect, while also simultaneously allowing Naganadel to live a Mega Charizard Mega Y's Blast Burn. Mention how this allows Naganadel to use Draco Meteor against an unrevealed Charizard, without having to predict.

Usage Tips
========
more general point about what naganadel is designed to do, something like "Naganadel is supposed to simply click buttons, without needing to set up or stall"
- Naganadel is best used against Pokemon with fairly low Special Defense like Porygon-Z I would not use Porygon Z in usage tips, as you lose to over 50% of the current sets. , Pokemon that it can hit super effectively with a STAB move like Zygarde-C, or Pokemon with like that can be hit super effectively by a coverage move, like Genesect.
- Naganadel does not live many hits so it struggles to deal with Pokemon that are faster than it, like Mega Lopunny and Greninja.
- Naganadel also struggles with Specially Defensive walls like Chansey and Meloetta, although with a Nasty Plot set it can deal with them. we don't talk about other sets in one set's part of the analysis
- Naganadel cannot deal with Pokemon with the ability Sturdy, like Donphan and Crustle, as they will always live Naganadel’s moves from 100% HP and can retaliate to KO.
-talk about Charizard, specifically how to play round 1 and against Spdef Zard X,
Team Options
========
- Naganadel synergizes well with Ground-type Pokemon like Donphan and Landorus-Therian due to their ability to break bulky Steel-types that Naganadel struggles with, like bulky Magearna and their ability to take down Mega Lopunny, which can outspeed and OHKO Naganadel. Naganadel also covers many of Donphan and Landorus-Therian’s counters like Jumpluff and Primarina.
- Fire-types like Mega Charizard Y and Incineroar work great as well by beating the Steel-type Pokemon Naganadel can’t beat. A bulky Mega Charizard Y can beat Greninja and Lopuinny as well, which Naganadel struggles with.
- Naganadel has difficulties with Pokemon that run Sturdy so another good pick would be Mega Gyarados. Mega Gyarados has access to both Mold Breaker and Taunt, allowing it to deal with the Sturdy Pokemon that Naganadel struggles with why does taunt matter? not immediately obvious to an inexperienced reader. Naganadel in return helps to deal with Fairy and Grass types that Gyarados struggles with, such as Tapu Fini and Jumpluff.
- Physical attackers such as? also, maybe change to "Fighting Types", given that Chansey is the only example are also good teammates for Naganadel, as they are able to break special walls that Naganadel can’t deal with, like Chansey.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]

Other Options
=============
- Dragonium Z is an option for Naganadel, allowing it to boost its Dragon type damage of Draco Meteor to the same level of specs once, while also allowing Naganadel to use Nasty Plot. Nasty Plot lets Naganadel wallbreak Pokemon such as Mega Slowbro unsure about this, asked on discord and Mega Sableye. Dragonium Z’s flaw is that it makes it so that Naganadel cannot deal with Pokemon like Mega Gardevoir and Tapu Lele, as Sludge Wave no longer does enough damage to OHKO.
- Poisonium Z is like Dragonium z, allowing Nagandel to wallbreak the same threats, or different ones?, but also lets Nagandel still deal with Fairy Pokemon like Mega Gardevoir.
- Choice Scarf modest or timid? is another option for Naganadel, allowing it to outspeed Pokemon such as Lopunny you don't kill and Greninja, while also outspeeding other Choice Scarfers like Porygon-Z 252+ SpA Naganadel Draco Meteor vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Porygon-Z: 291-343 (93.5 - 110.2%) -- 62.5% chance to OHKO would mention a diff mon and Genesect.
- Firium-Z is another possible set for Naganadel, boosting Fire Blast’s damage. This allows Naganadel to break through specific Steel type Pokemon like Mega Metagross and Magearna, regardless of their respective bulk.

Checks and Counters
===================
** Steel-types** : Steel types resist Naganadel’s STAB moves, and quite a few are able to tank its Fire Blast and KO back, like Mega Metagross, Magearna, and Heatran.
**Bulky Water-types** : Specially defensive Water types like Mega Gyarados are able to tank a hit from Naganadel, and retaliate to KO back.

I think you should combine these sections into a general "specially defensive Offense" or something like that, as it allows you to include many more mons, like Meloetta, Dragonite, etc
**Sturdy Pokemon : Study Pokemon are guaranteed to live a hit from Naganadel and are then able to KO it back. Pokemon like Crustle, Donphan, and Golem, fall into this category..
**Special Walls** : Naganadel struggles to break through specials walls like Blissey, Chansey, and Porygon2, unless it has Nasty Plot.
**Faster Pokemon** : While Naganadel is fast, it is not the fastest in the tier. Its meager defensives allow it to be killed reliably by faster Pokemon like Mega Lopunny, Greninja, and Choice Scarfed Pokemon like Excadrill and Haxorus. move this under the "specially defensive offense", as its pretty general and covers more Pokemon than Sturdy and Special Walls

[OVERVIEW]

- Naganadel is a Fast Dragon-Poison special-type attacker with a high special attack stat.
- Nagandel has access to powerful STAB moves like Draco Meteor and Sludge Wave, Fire Blast you removed Thunderbolt here yet added it in Set. You can keep it if its in the set xd, a strong coverage move, what do these moves do? and Nasty Plot, which can be effective against bulkier Pokemon such as Mega Sableye and Chansey. Won't work with current evs, you'd need 301 HP. Include that you need 56 HP Evs in OO to beat Chansey with nasty plot Dragonium (or remove chansey).
- Naganadel’s speed and special attack allow it to outspeed and OHKO many Pokemon that its STAB moves are super effective against like Dragon, Grass, and Fairy-type Pokemon, such as Zygarde-C, Kommo-o, non-Choice Scarfed / Special-Defensive Tapu Lele, and Tapu Fini, and Jumpluff, while also being able to outspeed OHKO Normalium Z and Choice Specs Porygon-Zs and non-Choice Scarfed Garchomps.
- Nagandel has rather low defensive stats, making it very weak to opposing Pokemon that outspeed or can tank a hit and retaliate with either super effective attacks like Outrage or Earthquake from Mega Gyarados, or power STAB moves like Giga Impact from Mega Lopunny and Ice Beam from Greninja.

If the Naganadel user thinks the Charizard will mega evolve, then they should use Draco Meteor. If the Naganadel user thinks the Charizard will not mega evolve, then it should use Hidden Power Rock. Because Hidden Power Rock also OHKOes Mega Charizard Y, it is strictly safer to use Hidden Power Rock if your opponent does not know your set, or if you don't know the Mega Charizard X's set.

Team Options

- Modest Choice Scarf is another option for Naganadel, allowing it to outspeed Pokemon such as Choice Specs Greninja, while also outspeeding other Choice Scarfers like Modest Choice Scarf Genesect you live Timid scarf Ice beam
- Firium-Z is another possible set for Naganadel, boosting Fire Blast’s damage. This allows Naganadel to break through specific Steel type Pokemon like Mega Metagross and Magearna, regardless of their bulk.

- With Hidden Power Rock, Nagandel is able to 50/50 Specially Defensive Mega Charizard X as to whether it mega evolves or not. If the Naganadel user thinks the Charizard will mega evolve, then they should use Draco Meteor. If the Naganadel user thinks the Charizard will not mega evolve, then it should use Hidden Power Rock.

Team Options
========
- Naganadel synergizes well with Ground-type Pokemon like Donphan and Landorus-Therian due to their ability to break Steel-types that Naganadel struggles with, like bulky Magearna, and their ability to take down Mega Lopunny, which can outspeed and OHKO Naganadel.
Mega Gyarados has access to both Mold Breaker, allowing it to deal with the Sturdy Pokemon that Naganadel struggles with. Naganadel in return helps to deal with Fairy and Grass types that Gyarados struggles with, such as Tapu Fini and Jumpluff.
- Physical attackers are also good teammates for Naganadel, as they are able to break specially defensive Pokemon that Naganadel can’t deal with, like Chansey and Hoopa-U.
(*Water-type Pokemon like Taunt Mega Gyarados and Primarina are also good Pokemon to pair with Naganadel, since they can take care of usual Steel-types and Ground-types like Heatran, GolPhan, and in turn Naganadel counters some Grass-type which troubles these Pokemon like Jumpluff, Mega Venusaur, and Ferrothorn)

Other Options
=============
- Dragonium Z is an option for Naganadel, allowing it to boost its Dragon type damage of Draco Meteor to the same level of specs once, while also allowing Naganadel to use Nasty Plot. Nasty Plot lets Naganadel wallbreak Pokemon such as Mega Slowbro and Sableye. Dragonium Z’s flaw is that it makes it so that Naganadel cannot deal with Pokemon like Mega Gardevoir and Tapu Lele.
- Poisonium Z is like Dragonium z, allowing Nagandel to wallbreak similar special walls, but also lets Nagandel still deal with Fairy Pokemon like Mega Gardevoir and Tapu Lele. (I think you have to explain how PoisonZ is at a disadvantage, like you did for DragonZ)
- Modest Choice Scarf is another option for Naganadel, allowing it to outspeed Pokemon such as Greninja, while also outspeeding other Choice Scarfers like Genesect.
- Firium-Z is another possible set for Naganadel, boosting Fire Blast’s damage. This allows Naganadel to break through specific Steel type Pokemon like Mega Metagross and Magearna, regardless of their bulk.

Checks and Counters
===================
**Specially Bulky Offense** : Offensive Pokemon that invest specially can tank a hit from Naganadel and KO it back, such as bulky steels like Magearna and Mega Metagross, and other specially defensive offensive pokemon like Gyarados-Mega, Meloetta, and Dragonite.
**Sturdy Pokemon** : Study Pokemon are guaranteed to live a hit from Naganadel and are then able to KO it back. Pokemon like Crustle, Donphan, and Golem, fall into this category..
**Special Walls** : Naganadel struggles to break through specials walls like Blissey, Chansey, an Porygon2, unless it has Nasty Plot.

[OVERVIEW]

- Naganadel is a Fast Dragon-Poison special-type special attacker with a high special attack stat.
- Naganadel has access to powerful STAB moves like Draco Meteor and Sludge Wave for (reword this. Maybe mention that Fire Blast hits everything that resists Dragon and Poison super effectively (except Heatran....) . Also mention that Naganadal is the only viable Pokemon with this typing, and that because of its Poison typing, has an edge over other Dragon-types by being able to deal with most Fairy-type Pokemon) Fire Blast, a strong coverage move for Steel, Bug, and Ice Type Pokemon, along with Nasty Plot, which can be effective with HP investment against bulkier Pokemon such as Mega Sableye and Chansey.
- Naganadel's shallow movepool leaves it with only Draco Meteor, Sludge Wave, and FIre Blast as clear options for moves, with a not so clear fourth option. (uh having a not so clear fourth move doesn't really mean it has a shallow movepool. Say instead something like 'It does not have many other options and as such, it is quite predictable.')

Moves
========
- Draco Meteor is Naganadel’s hardest hitting STAB move, with a base power of 130 (unnecessary). Draco Meteor should be used when none of the rest of Naganadel’s moves are super effective, such as Porygon-Z or Landorus-Therian, and also on other Dragon types, like Zygarde-C or Kommo-o.
-Sludge Wave is Naganadel’s other choice of STAB move that does not hit as hard as Draco Meteor. Sludge Wave is best used against opposing Pokemon that are weak to poison, like Fairy types and Grass Types, such as Tapu Lele and Jumpluff.
- Fire Blast is Naganadel’s hardest hitting coverage move. Fire Blast is best used against Pokemon that Sludge Wave is not effective against but Fire Blast is, like Steel types such as Genesect and Kartana, or offensive Magearnas and Mega Metagross.
- Hidden Power Rock is used to better Naganadel’s matchup versus both Charizards, making it a 50/50 versus Specially Defensive Mega Charizard X, and allowing Naganadel to OHKO Mega Charizard Y.

Set Details
========
- 252 Speed EVs with Timid nature allows Naganadel to outspeed as much as possible, most notably 110 base speed Pokemon like Jumpluff.
- 252 Special Attack EVs allows Naganadel to hit as hard as it can while still retaining max speed by nature.
- 4 Special Defense EVs causes Download to boost Attack instead of Special Attack, which is useful against Scarf Genesect.

Usage Tips
========
- Naganadel is generally a fairly simple pokemon, where it is generally supposed to be used to OHKO pokemon like Zygarde and Tapu Lele without the need of setting up or stalling.
- Naganadel is best used against Pokemon with fairly low Special Defense like Kartana, Pokemon that it can hit super effectively with a STAB move like Zygarde, or Pokemon with like that can be hit super effectively by a coverage move, like Genesect.
- Naganadel does not live many hits so it struggles to deal with Pokemon that are faster than it, like Mega Lopunny and Greninja.

- A Modest Nature is an alternative for Naganadel to Timid. With Modest, it underspeeds Pokemon like Jumpluff and Mega Lucario, but has better rolls against pokemon like bulky Magearna and Mega Mawile. When Naganadel is Modest, it can also run Thunderbolt over Hidden Power Rock to have a winning matchup against Mega Slowbro.
- Poisonium Z is like Dragonium z, allowing Nagandel to wallbreak similar special walls, but also lets Nagandel still deal with Fairy Pokemon like Mega Gardevoir and Tapu Lele, while losing out on other matchups such as Specially Defensive Zygarde. Add what Poisonium Z loses out on compared to Specs. (as woa said)
- Modest Choice Scarf is another option for Naganadel, allowing it to outspeed Pokemon such as Greninja, while also outspeeding other Choice Scarfers like Modest Choice Scarf Genesect.
- Firium-Z is another possible set for Naganadel, boosting Fire Blast’s damage. This allows Naganadel to break through specific Steel type Pokemon like Mega Metagross and Magearna, regardless of their bulk.
- Other moves that can be run over Hidden Power Rock: Air Slash for Pokemon like Mega Hera, and Signal Beam for Hoopa-U.
- Optional EV spread of changing it to what WoA had or even less speed. You only really need to outspeed Jumpluff and the rest of the EVs can go into SpDef to better tank stuff like Modest Genesect and especially Charizard Y.

Moves

Draco Meteor is Naganadel’s hardest-hitting (AH) STAB move. Draco Meteor that should be used when none of the rest of Naganadel’s Naganadel's (Use the ASCII (') apostrophe over the curly ones, as they mess up the dex formatting when on-site) moves aren't super effective, such as against Porygon-Z or Landorus-Therian, and also on other Dragon-types (AH), like Zygarde-C or and Kommo-o. Sludge Wave is Naganadel’s other choice of STAB move that does not hit as hard as Draco Meteor. (Filler) Sludge Wave is best used against opposing Pokemon that are weak to poison, like Fairy- (AH) types and Grass-types (AH), (RC) such as Tapu Lele and Jumpluff. Fire Blast is Naganadel’s hardest-hitting (AH) coverage move. Fire Blast that is best used against Pokemon that Sludge Wave is not effective against but Fire Blast is, like Steel-types (AH) such as Genesect, (AC) and Kartana, or offensive Magearnas, (AC) and Mega Metagross. Hidden Power Rock is used to better Naganadel’s Naganadel's matchup versus both Charizards Mega Charizard X and Mega Charizard Y, making it a 50/50 prediction versus specially defensive Mega Charizard X, (RC) and allowing Naganadel to OHKO Mega Charizard Y. In general it is best to use whatever move is super effective against the opposing Pokemon, making Naganadel rather straightforward. (More filler)

Usage Tips

Naganadel is generally a fairly simple Pokemon, where it is generally supposed to be that should be used to OHKO Pokemon like Zygarde and Tapu Lele without the need of setting up or stalling. Naganadel is best used against Pokemon with fairly low Special Defense like Kartana, (RC) or Pokemon that it can hit super effectively with a STAB move like Zygarde, or Pokemon with like that can be hit super effectively by a coverage move, like Genesect like Zygarde and Genesect. Naganadel does not live survive many hits, (AC) so it struggles to deal with Pokemon that are faster than it, (RC) like Mega Lopunny and Greninja. Naganadel also struggles with specially defensive walls that it fails to OHKO like Chansey and Meloetta. Naganadel cannot deal with Pokemon with the ability Sturdy, (RC) like Donphan and Crustle, as they will always live Naganadel’s survive Naganadel's moves from 100% HP full health and can retaliate to KO. With Hidden Power Rock, Nagandel is able to 50/50 Specially Defensive Mega Charizard X as to whether it mega evolves or not. If the Otherwise, Naganadel user thinks the Charizard will not mega evolve, then it should use Hidden Power Rock against Charizard the rest of the time.

A bulky Mega Charizard Y can beat Greninja and Lopunny as well, which Naganadel struggles with. Naganadel has difficulties with Pokemon that run Sturdy, (AC) so another good pick teammate would be Mega Gyarados. Mega Gyarados has access to Mold Breaker, allowing it to deal with the Sturdy Pokemon that Naganadel struggles with, namely Donphan and Golem. Naganadel in return helps to deal with Fairy- (AH) and Grass-types (AH) that Gyarados struggles with, such as Tapu Fini and Jumpluff. Air Slash is an alternative option to Hidden Power Rock, covering Pokemon like Mega Heracross. Signal Beam is also an option to cover Hoopa-Unbound.

Naganadel is a Fast Dragon-Poison Dragon / Poison type special attacker with a high special attack Special Attack stat. Naganadel has access to powerful STAB moves like Draco Meteor and Sludge Wave, and Fire Blast, a strong coverage move that hits super effectively Steel type pokemon Pokemon super effectively, which otherwise resist Naganadel's Dragon and Poison STABs. STAB attacks. Its speed Speed and special attack Special Attack allow it to outspeed and OHKO many Pokemon that its STAB moves are super effective against against, such as dragon types like Zygarde-C and Kommo-o, Grass Types like Jumpluff, and Fairy types like non-Choice Scarf or specially defensive Tapu Lele and Tapu Fini, like Dragon, Grass, and Fairy-type Pokemon, such as Zygarde-C, Kommo-o, non-Choice Scarfed / Special-Defensive Tapu Lele, and Tapu Fini, and Jumpluff, while also being able to outspeed and OHKO Normalium Z and Choice Specs Porygon-Zs Porygon-Z and non-Choice Scarfed Scarf Garchomps. Garchomp. However, Nagandel has rather low defensive stats, making it very weak to opposing Pokemon that can outspeed it or can tank a hit and retaliate with either super effective attacks like Outrage or Earthquake from Mega Gyarados, Gyarados or power powerful STAB moves like Giga Impact from Mega Lopunny and Ice Beam from Greninja. Naganadel's shallow movepool leaves it with only Draco Meteor, Sludge Wave, and Fire Blast as clear options for moves, with a not many choices for a fourth, making Naganadel a very linear Pokemon.

Moves
========
Draco Meteor is Naganadel’s hardest hitting STAB move. Draco Meteor should be used on pokemon that when none of the rest of Naganadel’s moves are not super effective, effective against, such as Porygon-Z or Landorus-Therian, Landorus-T, and also on other Dragon types, like Zygarde-C or Kommo-o. Sludge Wave is Naganadel’s other choice of STAB move that does not hit as hard as Draco Meteor. Sludge Wave is best used against opposing Pokemon that are weak to poison, like such as Fairy types like Tapu Lele and Grass types like Types, such as Tapu Lele and Jumpluff. Fire Blast is Naganadel’s hardest hitting coverage move. Fire Blast is best used against Pokemon that neither Draco Meteor nor Sludge Wave is not effective against against, such as but Fire Blast is, like Steel types such as like Genesect, Genesect and Kartana, Kartana, or offensive Magearnas Magearna, and or Mega Metagross. Hidden Power Rock is used to better Naganadel’s matchup versus both Charizards, Charizard, making it OHKO a 50/50 versus Specially Defensive Mega Charizard X, X before the latter mega evolves and allowing Naganadel to OHKO Mega Charizard Y. In general general, it is best to use whatever move is super effective against the opposing Pokemon, making Naganadel rather straightforward.
Set Details
========
252 Speed EVs with Timid nature allows Naganadel to outspeed as much as possible, most notably 110 base speed Pokemon like Jumpluff. 252 Special Attack EVs allows Naganadel to hit as hard as it can while still retaining max speed by its nature. 4 Special Defense EVs causes Download to boost Attack instead of Special Attack, which is crucial against Choice Scarf Genesect.
Usage Tips
========
Naganadel is generally a fairly simple pokemon, where it is generally supposed to be used to OHKO pokemon like Zygarde and Tapu Lele without the need of setting up or stalling. Naganadel is best used against Pokemon with fairly low Special Defense Defense, like Kartana, Pokemon that it can hit super effectively with a STAB move move, like Zygarde, or Pokemon with like that can be hit super effectively by a coverage move, like Genesect. Naganadel does not live many hits hits, so it struggles to deal with Pokemon that are faster than it, like Mega Lopunny and Greninja. Naganadel also struggles with Specially Defensive specially defensive walls that it fails to OHKO OHKO, like Chansey and Meloetta. Naganadel cannot deal with Pokemon with the ability Sturdy, like Donphan and Crustle, as they will always live Naganadel’s moves from 100% HP and can retaliate to KO. With Hidden Power Rock, Nagandel is able to 50/50 defeat Specially Defensive Mega Charizard X depending on whether it mega evolves. as to whether it mega evolves or not. If the Naganadel user thinks the Charizard will mega evolve, then they Naganadel should use Draco Meteor. If the Naganadel user thinks the Charizard will not mega evolve, then Otherwise, it should use Hidden Power Rock.
Team Options
========
Naganadel synergizes well with Ground-type Pokemon like Donphan and Landorus-Therian Landorus-T due to their ability to break Steel-types that Naganadel struggles with, like bulky Magearna, and their ability to take down Mega Lopunny, which can outspeed and OHKO Naganadel. In return, Naganadel also covers many of Donphan and Landorus-Therian’s Landorus-T's counters counters, like Jumpluff, Primarina, and Tapu Lele. Fire-types like Mega Charizard Y and Incineroar work great as well by beating the Steel-type Pokemon Naganadel can’t beat, such as Jirachi and Aegislash. A bulky Mega Charizard Y can beat Greninja and Lopunny as well, which Naganadel struggles with. Naganadel has difficulties with Pokemon that run Sturdy Sturdy, so another good pick would be Mega Gyarados. Mega Gyarados has access to Mold Breaker, allowing it to deal with the Sturdy Pokemon that Naganadel struggles with, namely Donphan and Golem. Naganadel in In return, return Naganadel helps to deal with Fairy and Grass types that Gyarados struggles with, such as Tapu Fini and Jumpluff. Physical attackers like Sawk and Medicham-Mega Mega Medicham are also good teammates for Naganadel, as they are able to break specially defensive Pokemon that Naganadel can’t deal with, like Chansey and Hoopa-U.

A Modest Nature is an alternative for Naganadel to Timid. With Modest, it underspeeds is outsped by Pokemon like Jumpluff and Mega Lucario, but it has better rolls against pokemon like bulky Magearna and Mega Mawile. When Naganadel is Modest, it can also run Thunderbolt over Hidden Power Rock to have a winning matchup against Mega Slowbro. Dragonium Z is an option for Naganadel, allowing it to boost its Dragon type damage of Draco Meteor to the same level of specs once, while also allowing Naganadel to use Nasty Plot. Nasty Plot lets Naganadel wallbreak Pokemon such as Mega Slowbro and Sableye. However, Dragonium Z’s flaw is that it makes it so that Naganadel cannot deal with Pokemon like Mega Gardevoir and Tapu Lele. Poisonium Z is like Dragonium Z, not only allowing Nagandel to wallbreak similar special walls, but also lets letting Nagandel still deal with Fairy Pokemon like Mega Gardevoir and Tapu Lele, while losing out on other matchups such as Specially Defensive specially defensive Zygarde that Choice Specs and Dragonium Z would otherwise win. win against. A few other lost KOs with Poisonium Z instead of Choice Specs would be Mega Mawile, Mawile and Landorus-Therian. Landorus-T. Modest Choice Scarf is another option for Naganadel, allowing it to outspeed Pokemon such as Greninja, while also outspeeding other Choice Scarfers Scarf users like Modest Choice Scarf Genesect. Firium-Z is another possible set for Naganadel, boosting Fire Blast’s damage. This allows Naganadel to guarantee a KO against non-heavy non-heavily Specially Special Defense invested Steel type Pokemon like Mega Metagross and Magearna. (Your sentence was saying that Choice Scarf would lure them in and KO them, which surely isn't what you meant)

[OVERVIEW]

Naganadel is a fast Dragon-Poison Dragon / Poison type special attacker with a high Special Attack stat. (This first sentence is kinda fluffy and doesn't really offer much information: "Naganadel is a special attacker with high Special Attack" is redundant and I sure hope that any special attacker has good Special Attack. You may want to tell the writer to expand on this so this is a more relevant first sentence to an analysis) Naganadel has access to powerful STAB moves like Draco Meteor and Sludge Wave, (RC) and a strong coverage move in Fire Blast a strong coverage move that hits super effectively Steel type pokemon which Steel-type Pokemon that resist Naganadel's Dragon and Poison STABs STAB moves for super effective damage. Its Speed and Special Attack allow it to outspeed and OHKO many Pokemon that its STAB moves are super effective against like Dragon-, (AH) Grass-, (AH) and Fairy-type Pokemon, (RC) such as Zygarde-C, Kommo-o, non-Choice Scarfed / Special-Defensive or specially defensive Tapu Lele, and Tapu Fini, and Jumpluff, (RC) while also being able to outspeed and OHKO Normalium Z and or Choice Specs Porygon-Zs and non-Choice Scarfed Garchomps. Nagandel However,(AC) (adding a transition word for nicer flow, but this is honestly dependent on the GPer's style and isn't entirely necessary) Naganadel has rather low defensive stats, making it very weak to opposing Pokemon that can outspeed or can tank a hit and retaliate with either super effective attacks like Outrage or and Earthquake from Mega Gyarados, (RC) or powerful STAB moves like Giga Impact from Mega Lopunny, (AC) and Ice Beam from Greninja. Naganadel's shallow movepool leaves it with only Draco Meteor, Sludge Wave, and Fire Blast as clear options for moves, (RC) with a not without many choices for a fourth, making Naganadel a very linear Pokemon.

Moves
========

252 Speed EVs with Maximum Speed investment paired with a Timid nature allows Naganadel to outspeed as much as possible, most notably base 110 base Speed Pokemon like Jumpluff. 252 Special Attack EVs Maximum Special Attack investment allows Naganadel to hit as hard as it can while still retaining maximum Speed by nature. 4 Special Defense EVs causes Choice Scarf Genesect's Download to boost Attack instead of Special Attack, which is crucial against Scarf Genesect when Naganadel is against it.

Usage Tips
========
Naganadel cannot deal with Pokemon with the ability Sturdy, (RC) like Donphan and Crustle, as they will always live survive Naganadel’s Naganadel's moves from 100% HP full health and can retaliate to KO. With Hidden Power Rock, Nagandel is able to 50/50 Specially Defensive Mega Charizard X as to whether it mega evolves or not. (This was already stated previously under moves, making it redundant) If the Naganadel user thinks the If you think an opposing Charizard will Mega Evolve, then they Naganadel should use Draco Meteor instead of Hidden Power Rock. If the Otherwise, Naganadel user thinks the Charizard will not mega evolve, then it should use Hidden Power Rock against Charizard the rest of the time.

Naganadel synergizes well with Ground-type Pokemon like Donphan and Landorus-Therian due to their ability to break Steel-types that Naganadel struggles with, like bulky Magearna, and their ability to take down Mega Lopunny, which can outspeed and OHKO Naganadel. Naganadel also covers many of Donphan and Landorus-Therian’s Landorus-T's counters like Jumpluff, Primarina, and Tapu Lele, in return. Fire-types like Mega Charizard Y and Incineroar work great as well by beating the are great teammates thanks to their ability to defeat Steel-type Pokemon Naganadel can’t can't beat, (RC) such as Jirachi and Aegislash. In return,(AC) Naganadel in return helps to deal with Fairy- (AH) and Grass-types (AH) that Gyarados struggles with, such as Tapu Fini and Jumpluff. Physical attackers like Sawk and Medicham-Mega Mega Medicham are also good teammates for Naganadel, as they are able to break specially defensive Pokemon that Naganadel can’t can't deal with, (RC) like Chansey and Hoopa-U.

A Modest nature is an alternative to Timid for Naganadel to Timid run. With Modest, it underspeeds Pokemon like Jumpluff and Mega Lucario, (RC) but has better rolls against Pokemon like bulky Magearna and Mega Mawile. When Naganadel is Modest, it can also run Thunderbolt over Hidden Power Rock to have a winning matchup against Mega Slowbro. Dragonium Z is an option for Naganadel, allowing it to boost its Dragon type damage the power of Draco Meteor to the same level of specs running Choice Specs once, (RC) while also allowing Naganadel to use Nasty Plot. Nasty Plot lets Naganadel wallbreak break Pokemon such as Mega Slowbro and Sableye. Dragonium Z’s Z's flaw is that it makes it so that Naganadel cannot unable to (better wording) deal with Pokemon like Mega Gardevoir and Tapu Lele. Poisonium Z is like Dragonium Z, allowing Nagandel also allows Naganadel to wallbreak similar special walls, (RC) but also lets Nagandel still and deal with Fairy-type Pokemon like Mega Gardevoir and Tapu Lele, while losing but Naganadel loses out on other matchups such as against specially defensive Zygarde, Mega Mawile, and Landorus-T that Choice Specs and Dragonium Z would otherwise allow it to win. A few other lost KOs with Poisonium Z instead of Choice Specs would be Mega Mawile, and Landorus-Therian. (Combined the sentences for better flow) Modest Choice Scarf is another option for Naganadel, allowing it to outspeed Pokemon such as Greninja, while also outspeeding and other Choice Scarfers Scarf users like Modest Choice Scarf Genesect. Firium-Z Firium Z is another possible set item for Naganadel, boosting Fire Blast’s Blast's damage. This allows Naganadel to guarantee a KO against non-heavy Specially Defense-invested (AH) Steel-type (AH) Pokemon like Mega Metagross and Magearna. Air Slash is an alternative option to Hidden Power Rock, covering Pokemon like Mega Heracross. Signal Beam is also an option to cover Hoopa-Unbound.

Fire Blast is Naganadel’s hardest-hitting coverage move that is best used against Steel-types such as Genesect, Kartana, offensive Magearna, and Mega Metagross. Hidden Power Rock is used to better Naganadel's matchup versus both Mega Charizard X and Mega Charizard Y, making it a prediction (what does this mean) versus specially defensive Mega Charizard X and allowing Naganadel to OHKO Mega Charizard Y.

Maximum Speed investment paired with a Timid nature allows Naganadel to outspeed as much as possible, most notably base 110 Speed Pokemon like Jumpluff. Firium Z is another possible item for Naganadel, boosting Fire Blast's damage. This allows Naganadel to guarantee a KO against non-heavy Special Defense-invested Steel-type Pokemon like Mega Metagross and Magearna.
