Ghostium-Z Pecharunt + M-Tyranitar (Bulky Offense)
:Tyranitar-Mega: :Pecharunt: :Ogerpon-Wellspring: :Gliscor: :Tapu Lele: :Terapagos-Terastal:

:Tyranitar-Mega: and :pecharunt: work together by covering each others weaknesses and can threaten each others checks. Tyranitar with low kick deals with hard Pechrunt counters such as :kingambit: and :Ting-Lu:. While Pecharunt deals with Tyranitar counters such as :Urshifu-Rapid-Strike:,:Lopunny-Mega:,:zamazenta:,:ogerpon-wellspring: and gets free setup opportunities on :Corviknight:,:Ferrothorn:,:alomomola:,:toxapex: etc which hard wall Tyranitar, might get caught off guard with NastyPlot +:ghostium-z:.
Not to mention how AMAZINGLY they compliment each other defensively with pecharunt being able to tank most physical attacks while Tyranitar can handle almost any special attack.

:ogerpon-wellspring:'s main role is to beat water and ground types wihich might trouble :Tyranitar-Mega: and :pecharunt:. With swords dance it can brick through almost any defensive core that Pecharunt or Tyranitar might struggle against such as :clodsire:,:Landorus-Therian:,:gliscor: and not only offers water immunity that Tyranitar and Gliscor appreciate but also a switch in into ground type attacks forcing out :Great Tusk: and:iron treads: preventing them from spinning.

:Gliscor: sets up Spikes to hazard stack and assert pressure on more offensive staples and in general spreads more toxicity along side :Pecharunt:, pair that with enough bulk to deal with :diancie-mega:and:Gholdengo: you got yourself a solid teammate.

:tapu lele: paired with :choice scarf: is the main speed control for this team but mostly to revenge kill other faster threats and late game clean. Mainly deals with :kommo-o:and:zamazenta:, while having Focus Blast for :kingambit: and hidden power fire for :scizor-mega:.

:Terapagos-terastal: Is the entry hazard remover, with Flamethrower its able to deal with :scizor-mega: which this team struggles against, also has Ice beam to deal with :dragonium-z:+:garchomp: and :icium-z:+:great tusk:. Also pairs quite well with :pecharunt: offering a ghost immunity, while Pecharunt gives it a fighting immunity.

i made this on accident and figured id throw it in

https://pokepast.es/f63805b66298796d

ttar pech hazard stack

Tyranitar+spikes is basically unstoppable. knock off exists to pressure what otherwise could switch in like alomomola or toxapex. rocks has a somewhat similar effect, taking advantage of a switch in and of course benefits its stone edges and knock offs mid to late game

gliscor is the spiker of the team and special wall. it works as a very solid anti lead, dealing with common leads like Tapu Koko, or uhm the butteyfly that sets webs that i can never remember the name of. it also offers a lot of offensive pressure with toxic+earthquake to fend off mega diancie. gholdengo can boost past however. tusk is for that, switching in on a nasty plot. tusk is also our rapid spinner. having the mix of longevity and offense that i needed. it also is our gambit answer

gholdengo is here not as a spin blockers but as the teams primary breaker. shadow ball is currently extremely hard to switch into, and few spinners can safely enter on it.terapagos can do so once but would then be trapped by tyranitar.

Pecharunts best roll i found was just the standard defensive pivot set to facciliate dengo shadow ball and ttar stone edges. malignant chain+hex also offers long term offensive pressure in a similar vein to gliscor

meowscarada is our speed control as well as primary knock off user

Team D by Xurkiyee
Z-Shot Pecha balance killer
:pecharunt: :kyurem: :kingambit: :zamazenta: :landorus-therian: :latios-mega:

Team is relatively old and super greedy but I think its fairly fun.

Pecha checks the fighters and other physical attackers while pivoting out with p-shot. Z-shot can bring anyone back up to full hp and can get them back in the game. 28 speed means you creep min speed lando, 104 sptk breaks zamazenta subs and the rest is a bulk dump.

Kyurem is why I labeled this as "balance killer", sub roost does a number on those types of teams.

Kingambit is av to help out against lele and such.

Zama, Lando and Lati are all standard.

Team E by Ineros
:Meowscarada: :Zapdos: :Gliscor: :Pecharunt: :heatran: :ting-lu:
https://pokepast.es/a5c02d091fdeb6a0

This is a balance core I stole from svou and made a few tweaks to. Meow is the speed control of the team, being able to revenge kill threats like unboosted moon, iron valiant, Serperior, and ogerpon. Zapdos is here for the main countermeasure against great tusk and taunt landot while providing defog for the team. Sd Gliscor is the main win condition, absolutely demolishing any Gliscor + pex balance that would give the team trouble, and it’s also the main tran check. Ting lu is relatively standard; it provides insurance vs. Ho and is a good dark and ghost resist, able to trade vs. Gholdengo and Kingambit. Heatran is here for the fire resist, which is useful for Charizard and Volcarona, 2 threats that easily overwhelm the team given ting lu is chipped. Pecharunt is here because it is the main check to ogerpon on a team that is very weak to it, and it + cane zap means that it can be handled somewhat easily, along with meow revenge killing it. It also provides a more surefire check into pokemon like band zama for instance which may be common on ladder and snipe ur Zapdos with stone edge; generally just an anti bullshit mon. It’s also a good spinblocker, allowing hazards to stay up and giving chances for meow to knock off stuff and Gliscor to win easier.

Cycle Eight
:sv/chansey::sv/sableye-mega::sv/dondozo::sv/skarmory:

The ban of Tera greatly affected the viability of all playstyles in the meta, but you could argue that none has fared as poorly as Stall has. Several problematic wallbreakers, including but not limited to, Tapu Lele, Gholdengo, and Kingambit are lurking around every corner, alongside the continued viability of less common but no less dangerous stallbreakers such as Mega Mawile and Ursaluna. The Gen 9 nerf to recovery move PP certainly didn't help either. All of this has resulted in stall being considered a very fringe pick at high level play at best and downright unviable at worst. That being said, maybe someone in here can crack the code, as many of these Pokemon, including the above four, are still fundamentally solid and good at their roles in their own right, and we have no lack of very interesting and infuriating defensive Pokemon available to us.

Your goal for Cycle Eight is to build a Stall team. May the best team win!

Guess I should give it a try, let's do it! While not being a huge fan of Stall, I wanted to give another shot in this competition. Therefore you have it, my first Stall team:

Shed-A-Scor(e) Stall Team:
:Shedinja: :Chansey: :Sableye-Mega: :Skarmory: :Gliscor: :Dondozo:
https://pokepast.es/f49fbd8042642ac1

➤ Without further distractions, let me explain every single teammate and what it does:

:Shedinja: Why is Shedinja here? Well, it checks as a wall against Tapu Lele IF it doesn't have Hidden Powe Fire, which Shedinja can scout through Protect. It also can inflict upon Pókemon burns with Will-O-Wisp and badly poison via Toxic. It also has STAB Hex whichhas its power doubled if its used to somebody who is "statused". It also works with Ogerpon-Wellspring as long as it doesn't have Knock Off, but like Tapulele, Shedinja has Protect to scout out the moves.

:Chansey: I don't think I need to overexplain myself here: Chansey serves as a great speciall wall with great typing in Normal. While its defence outsido its acceptable special defence is abismal, having access to Eviloite makes Chansey's longevity the more dreadful. It can sets Toxic, stealth Rock, has acccess to Stealth Rock and can hit the oppoent with Seismic Toss.

:Sableye-Mega: Just like normal and common Stall, Sableye-Mega serves as a projector for hazards such as Spikes and Stealth Rock with Magic Bounce, has STAB Knock Off fro the removal off the opponent's item and has Will-O-Wisp to crumble physical Pókemon, Protect to scout moves or to Toxic or Will-O-Wisp to cause passive damage and Recovery as a recovering option.

:Skarmory: Skarmory mainly serves as one of the physically defesive Pókemon outside of Sableye-Mega and Dondozo, can set up Spikes, unlike Dondozo, it has a reliable and fast recovery with Roost, can boost its excellent defence even more with Iron Defense and the Power of Body Press (deadly for Kingambit) and indirectly causing damage with Rocky Helmet

:Gliscor: The second Pókemon added to this Stall team is Gliscor! Gliscor serves as a specially buly utility Pókemon in this team, being faster than Gholdengo, beating it with STAB Earthquake if it doesn't have Air Baloon (which it sometimes doesn't). If in case of Samurot-Hisui using Ceaseless Edge, it can use Defog, erasing hazards for Chansey and Sableye-Mega. For removal of the opponent's or presence of Air Baloon, Gliscor can use Knock Off and has access to recovery with Roost.

:Dondozo: Here's the BEST physical wall on the team in my opinion. Due to great typing, bulk and Unaware, Dondozo sits on (alomst) every physical Pókemon. It has Curse, boosting its great defence and good attack not to mention boosting STAB Waterfall and the coverage Move Body Press. As a recovery, Dondozo has also Rest. While not the best, it's very much efficient.
(Is it me or am I gonna be the only one competing in this cycle?)
Anyways, thanks for sticking around and knowing everything about my team! If you want to give this team a try, suit yourself!

icium Z Toxapex stall

so the idea was to build a stall with some neat tech and pex was the best bet to experiment with imo. Ice z pex is pretty interesting because it allows you to haze taunt / encore users that try to give this pex set trouble such as taunt tornt, ival, and some other random ass taunt mons that try to cteam stall. It also acts as a knock off absorber against Pokemon like jolly Kingambit (any late game gambit as well if Corv dies, or if Corv cannot force progress against a sd gambit team). Besides that however, it does give you some outs to outplay Pokemon such as Gholdengo Serperior sd hsam and the aforementioned np tornt. I think it’s more handy in practice than on paper tbh it’s more something u need to try out to assess although it is a niche tech. If it feels unnecessary, then something like boots works too. Sableye gives us outs vs. ferrothorn stack and is generally good vs. most lando offense in general. Physdef also makes it pretty sturdy vs. mega Medicham and tusk and allows it to burn woger and hsam in a pinch easier. Another interesting tech that pairs well with pex is hex, which means it can actually threaten Gholdengo somewhat. It’s also a good spinblocker for our hstack structure. Clef is our unaware mon and its main job is to cover big setup threats like sd chomp, roaring moon, and sd hsam. This clef being unaware and having toxic also means it can toxic and allow you to outplay pokemon like ogerpon, raging bolt, and cm Tapu lele much easier. It also sets rocks for our squad. Amoonguss is simply our ogerpon check, nothing much else to it, and on top of that it’s also a much safer Koko and ival switch in. It also forms a neat double regen core with pex. Something else neat about this particular amoonguss is that it has clear smog, which means long term you can beat the ever so popular calm mind Fini and other shit like cm thunder Clefable. Another option is toxic > giga drain but I personally liked being able to hit mdia and even Mola for some chip with giga drain. Corv is our neccessary steel and check to threats like sd Gliscor, Kingambit, and mega mawile. It also is able to beat Tapu lele if it gets toxiced in conjunction with protect Gliscor. It also has defog to help remove hazards, and while this may seem like a throw because of Gholdengo, the team isn’t incredibly hazard weak anyway and msab is good vs. most stack structures. Gliscor is a spiker and with this set that I believe I stole from ezra build destroys fat and balance structures pretty well. It’s pretty much going to be your main win condition in most games, since against offense you want to stack your own hazards to choke out offensive threats while at the same time against balance you are able to choke out threats like ferro, Terapagos. and Mola with this Gliscor set among many other mons that hold boots. Toxic is also an option, but I liked the wincon potential this set has on a stall team.

There’s obviously some more things I didn’t cover like some other examples for why I used the moves I am but this should be a decent starting point.
