[NatDex] PokeClasses v2
approved by Scoopapa

Hello! In this Pet Mod, we sub classes, skills, and creatures from the video game The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion as Pokemon elements!

Each class, called a PokeClass, is a psuedo-ability that you nickname your Pokemon to use. Only a single usage of a particular PokeClass is allowed per team. PokeClass submissions should include 3-7 "side-effects".
10% more damage dealt with contact moves
10% less damage taken from enemy contact moves
Immune to Intimidate
Damage taken from Stealth Rock and Spikes halved
Taunt gains +1 priority
Taunt applies Follow Me to the user
20% chance to shake off status conditions at the end of each turn

Each skill, called a PokeSkill, is a psuedo-ability that you use in place of a moveslot. In addition, your Pokemon has to be the matching PokeClass to use a PokeSkill. This will be specified on the spreadsheet (big thanks to inkbug for it, btw). Duplicates of PokeSkills are allowed per team. Each PokeSkill submission should have 3-7 "side-effects".
Punching moves' power is increased by 1.2x, and they gain a 10% flinch chance
Mach/Bullet Punch gain an additional priority point (so now +2 priority [Extremespeed]) and have their power multiplied by an additional 1.3x (so 1.2x * 1.3x)
Drain Punch now drains 66% of damage done
Dynamic Punch has its accuracy multiplied by 1.5x
Focus Punch can now no longer be interrupted
Hammer Arm loses the Speed drop
Iron Fist gives an additional 1.2x power boost

Last, each creature, called a PokeCreature, is a Fakemon that we sub and vote in. The PokeCreature being subbed for will be specified; it will not be based on suggestion. This mon will be placed into NatDex, so the PokeCreature must be viable for OU. One PokeClass, one PokeSkill, and one PokeCreature will be slated each week.
80 HP/110 Atk/115 Def/40 SpA/75 SpD/80 Spe
Reckless / Stamina (Guts)

Attacks: Double-Edge, Head Smash, Earthquake, Bulk Up, Body Press, Heavy Slam, Knock Off, Facade, Protect

Typically, subs and voting will last 8-10 days total, subs lasting 6 days, voting lasting 2-4. Votes are formatted 1, 2, 3; you can vote for yourself in the third slot. First vote is 3 points, second is 2, last is 1.

Destruction:
+20% SpA
+10% SpD
-20% Def
-30% Atk

-Secondary Effect chances are increased by 50% ( i.e. 30% --> 45% )
-Light Screen, Reflect, and Aurora Veil now reduce 55% of damage taken
-Health restored by draining moves increased by 30%
-Status moves have their accuracy increased by 20%
-Hidden Power is 10% stronger
Blade:
-Boosts the power of slashing moves by 30%: Sacred Sword, Secret Sword, Slash, Night Slash, Psycho Cut, Leaf Blade, Solar Blade, Razor Shell, Smart Strike
-Reduces the damage taken from slashing moves by 50%
-Immune to atk drops
Destruction:
-Fire, Electric, and Ice attacks leave a storm on the opposing side for 3 turns, dealing 1/8 damage at the end of each turn, except to pokemon who are immune to that type. Only one storm can be active at once, and fails if the same type storm is already in effect.
Athicus (1)
Warrior:
So from what I can tell Warrior is the middle ground for Oblivion’s “pure martial” classes, between the offensive power of the Barbarian and the impenetrable wall of the Knight. Figured I’d run with that idea.

Raw Stat Changes:
+ 20% Atk increase
+ 20% Def increase
- 10% SpA decrease
- 10% SpD decrease

Effects:
10% more damage dealt with contact moves.
10% less damage taken from enemy contact moves.
Immune to Intimidate.
Damage taken from Stealth Rock and Spikes is halved.
Taunt gains +1 priority.
Taunt also applies Follow Me to the user (only noticeable in Doubles).
20% chance to shake off status conditions at the end of each turn (essentially a slightly weaker Shed Skin).
Yung Dramps (1)
Thief
+30% Speed
+15% Attack
-10% Defense
-15% Special Defense
-15% Special Attack

+1 priority moves on moves that steal items (not Knock Off, stuff like Trick, Thief, Covet etc. is fair game tho)
1.5x moves of 55 BP or below
Cannot have Speed be reduced in any fashion
Petuuuhhh (1)
Destruction:
-20% less def and atk
-all special fire, ice, and electric moves have their secondary effect chance doubled

The winner with 2 votes (I voted and luckily someone else had the same idea) for the poll is Archer, so we gonna do that!

Slate 1: Archer / Blunt / Ogre
This slate's PokeClass with be Archer. From the Oblivion wiki (UESP): A marksman, adept at combat at great distances. Able to take down most foes before they have a chance to draw sword.
Specialization:Combat
Attributes:Agility, Strength
Skills:Armorer
Blade
Blunt
Hand to Hand
Light Armor
Marksman
Sneak

This slate's PokeSkill will be Blunt. From the Oblivion wiki: Blunt is the skill that governs how well your character can use crushing weapons, such as maces, hammers, and axes. Improving your blunt skill allows you to deliver more damage with crushing weapons, and gives you access to power attacks.

Last, this slate's PokeCreature will be Ogre. From the Oblivion wiki: Ogres are large, muscular humanoids with a lot of health and a surprisingly quick and powerful attack. They should not be underestimated, especially because they are leveled creatures that continue to increase their health and attack damage as your character levels up.

Coming soon is a "reverse map" page of the spreadsheet where I list what classes each skill pertains to. I also need to update the spreadsheet with slates 6 and 7 of v1. For now, you can check out the winning subs here and here. Coding has been done for Slates 1-3 of v1, and I'll be planning on coding the remaining slates sometime soon! You have until 2/17 to sub. Happy posting.

hmm, this mod seems cool

EDIT: Added a defense nerf and removed special attack buff for balancing
Archer
- 5% Speed (Has to hold a bow)
-10% Defense (Can’t defend well with a bow in hand)
+10% Attack (Combat Class with a powerful bow)

Moves make no contact (Bow shoots attacks)
Moves have their accuracy multiplied by 1.2 (A skilled archer almost never misses)
+1 crit ratio (Shooting arrows in critical places like the story of Achilles’ heel)
+20% crit damage

Strengths:
  • Counters rocky helmet and rough skin
  • Increases reliability of high damage low accuracy moves like stone edge
  • +1 Crit Ratio pairs well with high crit moves to get a 50% chance
Weaknesses:
  • Lowers your speed tier just enough you miss out on speed ties and certain benchmarks (ex: garchomp no longer outspeeds base 100s)
  • Doesn’t give as much outright power as some other classes, instead focusing on reliability and crits
  • Contact moves have their damage boosted by 1.3 but can no longer activate secondary effects (Like sheer force but only for contact moves) This doesn’t apply to life orb like sheer force however.
  • Dragon Hammer, Ice Hammer, Hammer Arm, And crab hammer all have their bp raised to 120
  • Wood hammer no longer has recoil and hammer arm no longer lowers speed.
  • Steel type moves have their power boosted by 1.3 (Steel hammers)
Powerful contact move boosting skill that also helps steel types offensively and makes some lesser used moves very powerful.

Viable Moves: Fire punch, Flare Blitz, Body Slam, Frustration, Earthquake, Facade, Bulk Up, Double Edge, Heavy Slam, Taunt, Hammer Arm, Rock Slide, Roar, Belly Drum, Darkest Lariat

Checks some metagame threats like melm and weavile while offering huge offensive pressure for teams. Guts offers some punish against being toxiced, but is likely niche while Gluttony is just flavor. Fire type flavor is that my take on this Pokémon is a blue fire ogre.

Rest, Stockpile, Swallow, Spit Up, Slam, Take Down, Ember, Mega Punch, Uproar, Yawn, Stomp, Fire Fang, Incinerate, Hidden Power, Beat Up, Lash Out, Brick Break

Next slate coming soon!

Next slate is here! I'm looking into coding and I haven't forgotten about the spreadsheet or the HoF/Winning Subs.

This slate's PokeClass with be Battlemage. From the Oblivion wiki (UESP): Able to resolve most conflicts with either spell or sword. They are a deadly mix of scholar and soldier.

This slate's PokeSkill will be Conjuration. From the Oblivion wiki: Conjuration magic is the art of summoning creatures from other planes, creating magical weapons and armor, and repelling undead creatures. Summoning creatures is particularly useful, providing the spellcaster with an ally in combat. A wide range of different creatures can be summoned, depending upon the spellcaster's ability.

Last, this slate's PokeCreature will be Goblin Shaman. From the Oblivion wiki: Shamans are the only spell-casting goblins, and can be dangerous opponents.
You have until 3/3 to sub. Good luck!

  • This pokemon’s moves have their bp multipled by 1.1.
  • + 15 attack
  • + 15 special attack
  • This Pokémon’s stats cannot be lowered by an opponent.

Pretty simple idea it’s a class for mixed attackers so go wild.
  • This pokemons special attacks have the parental bond effect, meaning they hit a second time for 25% power. However their secondary effects are disabled on the second hit and doesn’t effect the move night shade).
  • When this pokemon sets up a substitute, it has double health.
  • Healing wish only takes half the user’s max health on the first use in a game (pivots the user out after).
  • Physical Ghost type attacks make no contact, ignore the user being burnt, and deal 1.2x the damage.
Give substitute Pokémon really fat subs and healing wish becomes a really great support move when you can use it twice. Parental bond effect is also fun to use for a damage increase and to punish sash leads. Physical ghost attack boosts really helps physical ghosts as to not worry about burns or rocky helmet. Flavor is that you summon creatures with ur special moves to help you deal extra damage, as a master of conjuring your substitute are stronger, and you will also be able to heal those you summon much easier for healing wish. Finnaly, the ghost effect is a reference to how conjurers usually summon the undead.

will likely do goblin shaman later

Immune to trapping effects
Immune to secondary effects
Reveals all moves that are super effective against
Shed Skin effect
Endure reflects 25% of damage back

Curse gives you the old (0.5x second hit) Parental Bond effect on all your attacks
The move in your first slot becomes your primary type and gains a 1.2x boost
The move in your second slot becomes your secondary type and gains a 1.2x boost
Ghost types cannot switch in

60 HP / 75 Atk / 65 Def / 125 SpA / 100 SpD / 110 Spe (535 BST)
