4a Mmaw 2hkos every mon on the sample stall, and comes in easily on chansey or msab if you can confident it wont get burned. From there you can start clicking buttons as the standard options to dealing with maw, glisc and skarm are ripped apart by an ice punch/ tpunch into fpunch on a roost respectively. The set requires some prediction to work but if done so can pick up around 2 kills and allows its offensive teammates to capitalise on the holes created.

SubMetro Hoopa is a menace against stall, bluffing a Choice Banded set and tearing through unprepared stall teams. Usually, special sets are dealt with by Clefable and if not Nasty Plot, shut down by Chansey. However, Metronome basically guarantees that Hoopa-U can break Clefable and Chansey just by clicking repeatedly. The only real way to shut it down is extremely aggressive plays if you already know the set, but this is a lot harder in practice as at is a rather uncommon set + aggressive plays against the likes of Banded Hoopa-U means you can easily lose a mon, so it is often not worth the risk.

SYNERGY:
(Gonna be a long one because I'm passionate about Stall). That exact stall team (Corviknight instead of Skarmory) has probably been the team I used most to mess around on the ladder, but every time I see a Mega Gyarados and Tapu Koko combination, I know that it is over when he gets behind a Substitute.

Mega Gyarados plays the role of a somewhat bulky Substitute set-up sweeper that tears through the classic stall team. The weakness of the Stall team is that it relies on Unaware Clefable to tank up set-up attacks, but Gyarados’ Mold Breaker ability denies Clefable’s ability to tank its STAB boosted Waterfalls. The Sample Stall team also has very weak offensive power, with the exception of Moonblast from Clefable and Body Press from Skarmory, allowing Gyarados to come in and set up a Substitute with ease. Waterfall is a reliable STAB attack that can nuke Sableye, Clefable, Chansey and Gliscor even without a boost. Earthquake is useful to OHKO the sneaky Toxapex to prevent it from using Haze. However, Crunch is a favourable powerful STAB attack that can deal immense damage to Alomomola and Skarmory once it is boosted. Mega Gyarados will outspeed everything on the Stall team, allowing it to set up a Substitute easily to avoid Toxics or Will-o-Wisps that will be detrimental to having a clean Dragon Dance sweep.

Tapu Koko is a valuable offensive pivot on offensively oriented teams as Mega Gyarados can appreciate Koko’s pivots to keep up good momentum. As Mega Gyarados can easily take care of Chansey, Gliscor, Sableye and Clefable, pairing him with a powerful Special Attacker than take care of Skarmory and Alomomola is useful. Hence, Tapu Koko is a perfect pair for Gyarados, as Alomomola and Skarmory can barely damage Tapu Koko neither live a STAB terrain-boosted Thunderbolt. Stealth Rocks is a problem from Gyarados that limits its ability to create Substitutes or survive Moonblast/Body Press because it has to run the Gyaradosite, meaning hazard removal is mandatory on Mega Gyarados teams. As such, Defog is a potential option on Tapu Koko, though other teammates may be better candidates as a Defogger. This standard Stall team has no pivoting moves, meaning every time the opponent switched out, they must hard switch. Therefore, U-turn is an important move that allows Tapu Koko to always switch out after the opponent has made their switch. A common hard switch on Tapu Koko is Gliscor and Chansey, where you can use U-turn to pivot into Mega-Gyarados to put the opponent in an undesirable scenario and hopefully get up a free Dragon Dance/Substitute. Dazzling Gleam is a nice super effective STAB move that significantly threatens a physically defensive Sableye.

Tapu Lele @ lum berry / psychinium / twisted spoon
Level: 100
Modest Nature
Ability: Psychic Surge
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
- Calm Mind
- Psyshock
- Moonblast
- Psychic

I think you could just start with lele and claim few pokemon from this stall. Usually for this kind of stall, they will lead sableye and do protect to scout lele moves. So you could just click calm mind and start to sweep. Even if he try to status you, lum berry will save your day. For sake of argument , lets assume your opponent know your Lele is calm mind sweeper, they could lead with chansey .Tbh even if they lead with chansey, there s not much he could do, chansey still get 2ohko from +1 psyshock. The only lead that could be troublesome for Lele from claiming few souls is clefable because clef can start calm mind and have low chance to survive 2 psyshock.
Calcs for clefable:
252+ SpA Tapu Lele Psychic vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Clefable in Psychic Terrain: 229-271 (58.1 - 68.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252+ SpA Tapu Lele Psyshock vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Clefable in Psychic Terrain: 163-193 (41.3 - 48.9%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

You also could use twisted spoon or psychinium if you re paranoid against clef.

Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Whirlpool
- Moonblast
- Nature's Madness
- Taunt

Tapu fini leads off against this team and gets 1.5 kills minimum. Literally. It beats every single member of the team 1v1, with the only pokemon that can come close to beating it being gliscor and chansey due to the former's poison heal and the later's defense-bypassing seismic toss. The team fails to sufficiently damage it due to their pathetic attacking stats, allowing Fini to repeatedly click buttons to inflict chip virtually for free. They still cleanly lose the 1v1 due to the combination of whirlpool's trapping + residual damage, nature's madness chipping the whole team rapidly, and moonblast finishing the team off, and taunt shutting down recovery or utility moves that stall relies on. The only pokemon that avoids taunt, mega sableye, gets swiftly threatened out by stab moonblast, especially in conjunction with whirlpool's trapping damage.

TLDR: Use this set, autowin vs this team, no prediction required.

Wanted to share a couple thoughts about the submissions

MGyarados does not break that stall as long as skarm is still alive (It just clicks iron defense), and Chansey ensure that Tapu Koko won't break easily either. For the record, even Taunt Gyarados before mega loses against a Skarm spamming body press thanks to rocky helmet damages, and is easily burned by Alomomola as well. Weavile has to be adamant to 2hko Clefable, and even then, Skarm can switch in and proceed to kill Weavile (especially since weavile can't click sub and SD at the same time.).

That Lele set is interesting, and imo the best item out the three suggested is maybe the twisted spoon, allowing it to at least 2hko the whole team immediately except Chansey, with either terrain boosted psyshock, psychic or moonblast. But then, why didn't i vote this set higher? Because this Lele set is, in my opinion, outclassed by an other even more terrifying set being taunt twisted spoon Tapu Lele:

Ability: Psychic Surge
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

This set has the benefit of not needing any turn of cm, and also has focus blast, which makes it so much better in other matchups, in particular against opposing bulky steels like Heatran. If anyone wants to see this set in action, it was the Lele set Ox the Fox used against me (on a team built by peap) in one of the matches of PSPL's finals, opposing the french room to the ou room. Even thought the Lele was Timid here, it still was able to break my stall early game, which allowed its partners to eventually win the game.

Played correctly, sub metronome hoopa can easily stomp that stall. I discussed a bit about the possibles scenarios of submetro hoopa-u vs that stall with adem, and it seems like, if it gets the opportunity to do so, hoopa can easily break through that stall, even if it mostly get low rolls. However, that requires very precise plays, especially to find safe opportunities to set a sub / throw attacks. Hoopa-U also suffers from the competition with the plethora of other breakers in the tier, which is why i didn't vote it higher.

I don't have much to add about Whirlpool Fini and FPunch MMawile ; they both have a formidable MU against that stall, and their respective posts explained well how they work. Maybe MMawile is slightly better than Fini, since Gliscor could speed creep Fini, knocking it and weakening it. Tapu Fini still wins, but is left at ~35% with no leftovers. If you're curious, you can see a simulation of that interaction here. (Assuming Toxic orb isn't triggered). It's also worth to note that MMawile can really be annoyed by Skarm and Mola dancing around it, forcing helmet damages.

Round 3: Fightnium Z Kartana Hazard Stack Sand (quite a mouthful, i know) by pannuracotta!
:ss/tyranitar-mega::ss/kartana::ss/skarmory::ss/reuniclus::ss/excadrill::ss/toxapex:

This build focuses around the helpful overall support of Mega Tyranitar and the punishing effects of both Spikes and Toxic Spikes to allow Kartana and Reuniclus set up and win with ease. Mega Tyranitar's accesa to Pursuit pressures and traps fat Psychic-types, something Kartana and Reuniclus both struggle against. Skarmory and Toxapex are the main defensive backbone of the team, also layering potent hazards to wear down and cripple opposing Pokemon to beat easily later. Excadrill provides excellent compression as speed control and some power via Swords Dance to make sure the matchup versus offense teams is accounted for. Rapid Spin also provides emergency hazard removal, while also keeping the opposing team's hazards untouched.

You have until October 19th 11:59 GMT to submit your cores/Pokemon!

Scarf Magnezone traps both Kartana and Skarmory, partially traps Excadrill and 2HKOs both Toxapex and Tyranitar. Reuniclus is capable of being Volt Switched out of due to Excadrill being fairly easy to put at low percentage, and is still prone to potential hax from Thunderbolt / Flash Cannon. Steel Beam is there if you want an immediate 2HKO, but it is listed here for other reasons other than a strictly better matchup for this team.

Opposing kartana is incredibly difficult for this team to switch into, as after a boost, it threatens to OHKO every member after rocks, nuking skarmory with the z-move. Furthermore, it is quite difficult to revenge, as excadrill only does around 60% max with earthquake, and this teams kartana risks a speed tie.

Fire blast is to hit skarmory hard and after a scale shot it is very hard to revenge kill as even an excadrill in sand cannot 2hko it unless it has scale shotted and it has to bank on a flinch. Hp fire mega venusaur serves as a great kartana switch-in, forcing it out and sufficiently stalling out ttar, excadrill, and toxapex one on one with leech seed and synthesis. Its poison type also means it can remove toxic spikes from the field very easily throughout a game. Hydreigon has great defensive synergy with mega venusaur, and works as a great switch to reuniclus, threatening it out with nasty plot+dark pulse and roosting off any damage from thunder. Levitate also means it doesn't have to worry about spikes or tspikes being set up throughout the match. Hydreigon can be any item, my choice is either groundium or darkinium z to go with the moves chosen.

This team has one of the best Mega Medicham checks in Reuniclus, sponging any hit from it and recovering if back. However, since it is a Life Orb set, it is prone to Weavile Pursuit Trapping it, forcing it into a 50/50 where it either dies to Knock Off or gets Pursuit Trapped. Regardless, once Reuniclus eventually dies, Mega Medicham basically clicks HJK and claims one, each time it comes in on Pex / Mega Tar / Drill out of Sand / weakened Skarmory.

Gravity is used to make Skarmory vulnerable to Earthquake and guarantee that Landorus makes a 2HKO every time it enters the field. Knock-Off is to deal with Reuniclus but Gravity + Earthquake should be very threatening to every member on the team. The only problem is Landorus' longevity: Gravity + Swords Dance takes two turns to set up and Landorus can be whittled down easily due to its lack of reliable recovery and mediocre bulk.

Mega garchomp can abuse a lot of the team for setup such as mega ttar, skarmory, and reuniclus, and toxapex after rocks or in sand. EQ and scale shot melt this team especially in sand.

:xy/medicham-mega: + :xy/weavile:

This team has one of the best Mega Medicham checks in Reuniclus, sponging any hit from it and recovering if back. However, since it is a Life Orb set, it is prone to Weavile Pursuit Trapping it, forcing it into a 50/50 where it either dies to Knock Off or gets Pursuit Trapped. Regardless, once Reuniclus eventually dies, Mega Medicham basically clicks HJK and claims one, each time it comes in on Pex / Mega Tar / Drill out of Sand / weakened Skarmory.

Round 4: Mega Medicham + Ash-Greninja Bulky Offense by Chazm!

:ss/medicham-mega: :ss/greninja-ash: :ss/heatran: :ss/ferrothorn: :ss/slowking-galar: :ss/landorus-therian:
This team centers the immensely threatening offensive core of Mega Medicham and Ash-Greninja, who pretty much share no switch-ins in tandem with each other. Medicham obliterates Toxapex, Ferrothorn, and Gastrodon for the frog while it returns the favor by smashing Landorus-T, Reuniclus, and Slowbro. As further pressure against defensive teams (notably stall), Toxic+Taunt Heatran rounds out the offensive core, shattering Chansey and Mega Sableye, as well as appreciating Mega Medicham and Ash-Greninja patching up its slowness. Ferrothorn is the Stealth Rocker for the team, as well as the Psychic, Fairy, Electric, and Water resist. Galarian Slowking eats every special attack under the sun, and responds with Future Sight or debilitating status. Finally, Landorus-T rounds the team out as primary speed control and Tapu Koko check, as well as carrying emergency Defog.
