Zapdos @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Static
EVs: 248 HP / 188 Def / 72 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Discharge
- Heat Wave
- Defog
- Roost

The idea behind Zapdos is very simple: Mega-Heracross likes paralysis support, and Zapdos is probably the best paralysis spreader in the tier, thanks to Static and Discharge's nasty paralysis rate. Zapdos also bring some nice defensive traits to the team (although it's worth saying that it doesn't want to switch into most Mega Heracross checks, bar the rare offensive flying types, Brave Bird Corviknight, Lopunny Mega and Cinderace), Defog, and is a good mon in general.

The idea behind Lando is very simple. Mega-Heracross has problem getting in the field while lando is super great for it for pivot u turn.
I'm also pretty sure this will help for speed control later. Thank you for reading!

if we goin mhera, then it needs the love and support of webs. my boy shuckle is the ultra-compressor of web leads with access to big bulk, stealth rocks, encore to stop things from turning it into setup food, and final gambit to dip out and let abusers like mhera in to dunk whatever is out. mental herb is ofc there to prevent taunt users from completely shutting down shuck for a turn. a specially defensive spread works to help out with its prevailing water weakness. mhera's unfortunate speed tier can become usable and entirely threatening along with other web abusers with this boyo. since ace ban is looming close, web teams are really gonna flourish and I think mhera should be paired with its bug bro.

Aegislash @ Spell Tag
Ability: Stance Change
EVs: 32 HP / 252 SpA / 224 Spe

- Close Combat
- Shadow Sneak
- Flash Cannon
While I think the hera set could be better, I'd like to see if Aegislash would be a good partner for it. Aegislash is able to resist various moonblasts or psychics coming hera's way, and can respond with a strong Shadow Ball that threatens to 2hko stuff like Corviknight or Toxapex invested in more defense.

Weavile (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Knock Off
- Icicle Crash
- Ice Shard
- Pursuit

The idea behind Weavile is simple: it not only gives our team excellent speed control (making up for Hera's relative slowness), but also a way to help take on the Flying, Psychic, and even Fairy types that can either take a hit from Hera, threaten it out, or both, such as Mega Latias, Gliscor, Cinderace, and Landorus-T. In exchange, Mega Heracross can take care of the bulky Waters and Steels that wall Weavile such as Scizor-Mega, Toxapex, Magearna, and Heatran.

The two of them together form a potent offensive core that almost any team would be hard pressed to handle, as even teams with the likes of Tapu Fini, which can handle both individually, cannot handle both

Serp makes an awesome partner to MHera for two reasons. The first is Glare; paralysis often gives Mega Heracross greater breathing room against balance teams that may have a faster breaker like Tapu Lele. The second is Serp’s ability to draw in all of Steel- and Flying-types that Heracross hates facing, and Glaring them. Balance teams are often left in a lose-lose situation as once their team is paralyzed by Serp or weakened by MHera, the orher can clean up with ease.

Gengar @ Ghostium Z
Ability: Cursed Body
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nasty Plot
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast
- Substitute

The idea for Gengar is pretty simple, it pairs pretty well with Mega Heracross by breaking physical walls that prove troublesome to Gengar, while Heracross blows holes into troublesome walls for Gengar. Heracross also murders most pursuiters. If you can properly keep both alive, there isn't a wall that deals with both effectively. The only problem is faster revenge killers that can kill Gengar and Heracross, but there are still three slots to consider. Zapdos doesn't work as well with Gengar, but it offers a risk-free switch from more troublesome steels like Mega Scizor who force Gengar to use its Z, and can potentially kill a chipped Gengar with bullet punch. it also deals with some revenge killers like Mega Loppu or scarfed Landorus/Kartana. Overall this makes Gengar an excellent option for the team

I think Slowking would be an excellent choice for the team's 3rd slot, providing it with quite a bit of useful role compression. For starters, it functions very similarly to its counterpart Slowbro insofar as being a bulky water that can throw off Future Sights and Teleport around relatively freely. The key difference here is in what it checks, exchanging Bro's ability to check Ace and Gliscor for the incredibly useful ability to pivot around threats like Heatran and Lele, which the team currently lacks reliable answers to. Being able to switch into those mons and pivot into Heracross or another potential offensive threat is something the team would deeply appreciate, as would it Slowking's powerful Future Sights, which make Heracross even harder to switch into than it already is and force the opponent to essentially dance around 2 Pokemon at the same time.

The given spread allows Slowking to take 2 Mega Lopunny Frustrations (which lets it serve as a backup check to said mon, which is really nice) while providing as much special bulk as possible. A Sassy nature allows it to outslow over Slowtwins and get off Teleport 2nd, whilst still hitting whatever speed tiers it needs to.

I would say scarf lando t is an amazing addition for this team, as it gives a good ace revenge killer, an amazing speed control option, a ground immune that doesnt instantly die to rock coverage from the likes of chomp and opposing lando, and isnt stone walled by gliscor, and can threaten back with a hp ice. This also gives us an extra ground immune and a good electric immune. Spread lets it take ace pyro after rocks. ❤
