i said this worked above but apparently it has to be on the VRs so it doesn't work :(

Ok I have been told that it must be a mon on the VR (which is lame because eleki worked too but that’s not vr) so from atleast what I can find this next mon imma show is on the VR

Charizard-Mega-X @ Charizardite X
Ability: Tough Claws
EVs: 248 HP / 24 Def / 40 SpD / 196 Spe
Careful Nature
- Roost
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Dragon Dance

So idk if it’s only supposed to be mons that work in every possible situation but here is one that works in every possible situation. If they lead weav you take the triple set up dd then click d claw to kill weav or 2hko everything else and if they switch out to zard it’s good that you don’t get the ohko roll so you roost on it because roost out heals focus miss by the tiniest bit and from there you win. If they lead zard settup on it and win. If they lead kart settup on it and win. As long as zard doesn’t crit or spdef drop you, you’re fine and should always win. The only tricky situation is the weav one every other one you just settup and win.

P.S. this is a viable set and it’s the main bulky mega zard x set I use I typically pair it with very heavy hazard control as means to actually let the set do it’s job. Would recommend it it’s quite fun. (The important calcs are never 2hko by mega zard y focus miss and speed to beat common dnite dragon dance while also outpaceing mega beedril at plus 1)

replay of testing strat:
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen8nationaldex-1505811223

also I just looked and I actually beat them easier because kart cannot sd on my zard or use really any move to threaten it
I hate to do it to you, but this doesn't actually work. The Zard Y set has Scorching Sands over Focus Blast, which DOES let it 2HKO this set.

252 SpA Charizard-Mega-Y Scorching Sands vs. 248 HP / 40+ SpD Charizard-Mega-X: 178-210 (49.5 - 58.4%) -- 98.8% chance to 2HKO

Oh damn I completely missed that
My bad next time I’ll make sure I look at the sets closer
I just thought it was standard focus zard

Ability: Blaze
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Flamethrower
- Solar Beam
- Scorching Sands
- Roost

Charizard pressures all 3 of these pokemon with its fire/grass coverage as it can take advantage of landorus-t, and ferrothorn and start spamming its stabs as rotom-w cannot take solar beam at all and landorus-t coupled with having no recovery does not want to even take an attack as after rocks its already a 50% chance to be ohko'ed, ferro.... its been roasted at this point. Lando while can trade toxic is now very low on hp and is not setting up stealth rocks and even tho rotom-w can attempt to stall out sun flamethrower does 40-47% especially after rocks it is very close to 2hko range from flamethrower if it starts switching to often.

252 SpA Charizard-Mega-Y Flamethrower vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Landorus-Therian in Sun: 309-364 (80.8 - 95.2%) -- 50% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
252 SpA Charizard-Mega-Y Solar Beam vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Rotom-Wash: 288-340 (94.7 - 111.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock
252 SpA Charizard-Mega-Y Flamethrower vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Ferrothorn in Sun: 672-792 (190.9 - 225%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Hidden power fire yes. Use this on ladder lol and watch people cry . Joke aside , It can 2ohko every Pokémon here.

Calc :
252 SpA Choice Specs Greninja Hidden Power Fire vs. 252 HP / 232+ SpD Ferrothorn: 224-264 (63.6 - 75%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

Not trying to be nitpicky here, but Ash-Gren can't learn HP Fire due to its event only giving it perfect IVs for Hidden Power Ghost, therefore making this set illegal. Standard Specs still pressures the core though since Washtom is Phys. Def and Ferrothron hates DPulse.

Anyways, submitting Grassium Heatran:

:sm/heatran:
Heatran @ Grassium Z
Timid/Modest Nature
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
- Magma Storm
- Earth Power
- Solar Beam
- Stealth Rock/Taunt/Toxic

Z-Solar Beam eliminates Washtom after you trap it with Magma Storm and Lando can't take more than one Magma Storm, making it especially easy for Grassium Tran to beat this core if you elect to run a Timid nature to outspeed the listed Lando-T spread. Ferro is self-explanatory.

Gets free turns vs lando and any ferros not expecting the set (sub on any move not being pwhip into bu), and Rotom-W needs to get lucky to win 1v1 (it loses if it switches into sub thanks to gravity anyway). This set does more than beating the core, it turns it into setup fodder.

Going for fightinium because i know i will get haxed and miss like 3 focus blasts in a row you get to chunk blissey and chansey though it's overkill and not needed here

Nasty Plot on ferrothorn or wash-tom, then sweep easily. nothing outspeeds and you have all the coverage you need. a bit of chip on rotom wash or stealth rock damage will be able to finish it off, which isn't out of the ordinary
