Ogerpon-Wellspring (F) @ Wellspring Mask
Ability: Water Absorb
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Ivy Cudgel
- Horn Leech
- Superpower

Broken Waterpon does it again. You live a cc from shifu and you can’t rlly damage pon with mtar. This forces shifu to u turn, but that also doesn’t ko and is just invalidated as an option by Tera stuff. You also prevent shifu from clicking strikes safely which is nice and forces it into weird scenarios and positions. What’s better, you can also recover Hp from potential sand stuff that would eventually ko you after shifu ccs / u turns with horn leech.

252 Atk Urshifu-Rapid-Strike Close Combat vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Ogerpon-Wellspring: 228-268 (75.7 - 89%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252 Atk Urshifu-Rapid-Strike U-turn vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Ogerpon-Wellspring: 178-210 (59.1 - 69.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252 Atk Wellspring Mask Ogerpon-Wellspring Superpower vs. 132 HP / 0 Def Tyranitar-Mega: 420-496 (112.2 - 132.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO (Tera water with cudgel also kos)
Rillaboom @ Choice Band
Ability: Grassy Surge
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Grassy Glide
- Wood Hammer
- Knock Off
- U-turn

This is a great choice in dismantling these two, as Rillaboom has a super-effective priority move against them both. Grassy Glide OHKOs one of them and OHKOs the other after rocks(and obviously OHKOs with Tera), not to mention on the latter you could just Wood Hammer as you're faster. U-Turn and Knock is a good option to make progress on common partners of this core, like Corviknight. However, be mindful that Rillaboom hates getting its Choice Band knocked off by Mega-Tyranitar, and can only switch in once to Close Combat, so Rillaboom is a check, not a counter.

252+ Atk Choice Band Rillaboom Grassy Glide vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Urshifu-Rapid Strike in Grassy Terrain: 378-446 (110.5 - 130.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252+ Atk Choice Band Rillaboom Grassy Glide vs. 132 HP / 0 Def Tyranitar in Grassy Terrain: 348-410 (93 - 109.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock
252+ Atk Choice Band Rillaboom Wood Hammer vs. 132 HP / 0 Def Tyranitar in Grassy Terrain: 750-884 (200.5 - 236.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO
Kartana @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Beast Boost
Shiny: Yes
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Leaf Blade

I clicka da Leaf Blade

252 Atk Tera Grass Kartana Leaf Blade vs. 132 HP / 0 Def Tyranitar-Mega: 356-420 (95.1 - 112.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock

252 Atk Tera Grass Kartana Leaf Blade vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Urshifu-Rapid-Strike: 5044-5966 (1478.8 - 1747.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Mawile @ Mawilite
Ability: Intimidate
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 116 HP / 252 Atk / 140 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Play Rough
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch

Iron Valiant @ Booster Energy
Ability: Quark Drive
Tera Type: Electric
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Calm Mind
- Moonblast
- Thunderbolt
- Focus Blast

Venusaur-Mega @ Venusaurite
Ability: Chlorophyll
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 248 HP / 164 SpA / 96 Spe
Modest Nature
- Sludge Bomb
- Synthesis
- Earth Power
- Giga Drain

So if Mmaw is out first, you giga drain into earth power which will kill after stealth rocks. Giga drain will give you a minimum of 8.8% hp recovered. If they sucker twice and get max rolls, you’re taking a maximum of 78.6%, leaving you with 21.4% hp, but thanks to giga drain recovery that goes up to at least 30.2% hp. Iron valiant then clicks focus blast (strongest move vs mega venu) which does a max of 25.6% so you live. Sludge bomb then kills ival. Or if ival clicks cm instead of fblast, you still kill with sludge bomb.

If Ival is the first one out basically the same thing happens, fblast does 25%, you kill with sludge, you have 75% hp, mega mawile comes in and sucker does 40% max, you recover 8% min, now you’re at a minimum of 43% hp and live another sucker to kill with epower (thanks to rocks damage).

164+ SpA Venusaur-Mega Giga Drain vs. 116 HP / 0 SpD Mawile-Mega: 63-75 (23.3 - 27.7%) -- 99.9% chance to 4HKO after Stealth Rock

164+ SpA Venusaur-Mega Earth Power vs. 116 HP / 0 SpD Mawile-Mega: 204-240 (75.5 - 88.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock

164+ SpA Venusaur-Mega Sludge Bomb vs. +1 0 HP / 4 SpD Iron Valiant: 290-344 (100.3 - 119%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252+ Atk Huge Power Mawile-Mega Sucker Punch vs. 248 HP / 0 Def Venusaur-Mega: 121-143 (33.3 - 39.3%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

252 SpA Iron Valiant Focus Blast vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Venusaur-Mega: 79-93 (21.7 - 25.6%) -- 1.4% chance to 4HKO

As a side note you can use synthesis somewhere but that could get a bit awkward if mmaw gets a SD and you don’t have the chip from giga drain to guarantee a kill with earth power.

Weezing-Galar @ Leftovers
Ability: Neutralizing Gas
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split
- Strange Steam / Sludge Wave
- Fire Blast

The key to this set is Neutralizing Gas, which negates Huge Power and gives Geezing the ability to run a fully specially defensive set while still walling Mawile. Before either of them can 3HKO, Geezing can 2HKO them with its good coverage moves. There's probably a way to optimize this spread so you can run Flamethrower instead of Fire Blast.

Congratulations to Hittite Jumpscare for winning this week of Break this Core!

Our new core will be Volcarona + Primarina + Meowscarada!
Credit for the core: Ineros

[T]his is a core with Primarina, a Pokemon useful for checking urshfiu r and Darkrai for meow and allows Volcarona better insurance against shifu teams. Meow is mainly to help against mtar and gking but also knocks off stuff like pex and Tran for prim and Volcarona respectively. Volcarona is the main way of dealing with steel and fairy types like iron valiant, mega scizor, and Ferrothorn and provides a 2nd fighting resist and can insure the core against Mlop with flame body. Although it seems the core may lose to pex, encore + psychic noise Tera steel prim can be very annoying to it, same with Volcarona; prim encores it so dealing with Volc is much easier. Lele is also not a free win because specs / av is rkilled easily and scarf can’t break through this core reliably. The EVs on prim are to live a yard solar beam after rocks so then it can trade with yard

heat crash is an option to preserve HP and break this core in particular -- obviously flare blitz is the safest option for laddering. however, gouging fire is also 590kg and thus you'd only notice vs common thicc bois like great tusk, ting-lu, garganacl, celesteela, mega venusaur, or dragonite. you can go through the calcs yourself vs the VR and you'll see a lot of them are the same. heat crash could pair with dragon coverage to better serve some of the matchups listed previously.
EQ +1 is (usually) enough to 2HKO non-tera :primarina: and you have enough investment to live 2 hydros from full.
DD and morning sun on :meowscarada: for free as needed
:volcarona: just dies when :gouging-fire: is +1 no matter what and can only 2HKO :gouging-fire: when at +1 itself. you can keep it guessing by clicking tera and even go to +2/+2 to outspeed it.

+1 adamant tera normal espeed just ohkos meowscarada and volcarona. +2 ohkos Prima. +2 EQ ohkos Volc and 2hkos Prima.

Come in on volc, dd. If it stays in, dd again then win with +2 tera normal espeed and +2 eq. If it switched to Meow, tera normal espeed and ko. If it switched to prima, tera normal and eq. Ohkos Prima if it teras, 2hkos if it doesn’t.

Just half damage for multi scale being up. Also I’m lazy so I’m only putting the strongest move for each mon (with and without tera if they differ).

If anything about this seems wrong let me know, might have missed some stuff but I think this should work.
