Pokemon A by Solaros & Lunaris
:ss/greninja-ash:
SHURIKEN (Greninja-Ash) (M) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Battle Bond
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Dark Pulse
- Water Shuriken
- Spikes

While Mega Lopunny is a capable wallbreaker, it tends to falter against Pokemon like Slowbro, Landorus-T, and Reuniclus that have the bulk to eat its attacks. Ash-Greninja picks up the slack against these threats once brought in by Lopunny’s U-turn, making for a very potent offensive core in tandem with the offensive pressure of Spikes. In return, Mega Lopunny rips through specially defensive Pokemon like Blissey and Ferrothorn, while the two together can pressure Clefable, Kommo-o, and even Toxapex into submission.

Pokemon B by adsam
:bw/crawdaunt:

The Don (Crawdaunt) @ Waterium Z
Ability: Adaptability
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Aqua Jet
- Knock Off
- Crabhammer

Crawdaddy is an amazing partner for Mega Lopunny as it curbstomps fatter team structures for it, and pressures deletes stuff like Toxapex, Corviknight, Gliscor and Landorus-T. Mega Lopunny in turn deals with faster threats, especially against mons that Crawdaunt cant setup on, but also cant kill with priority. Pretty standard set, with Waterium Z chosen to nuke mons that try to play around it. Together both weaken the opposing team so they can be cleaned up late game, turning into a devastating offensive core formed from the best of the bunny and the LOBSTER.

Pokemon C by NuttyRabbit
:ss/Garchomp:

Garchomp @ Rockium Z
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge

Rockium Z Garchomp is a fantastic partner for Mega Lopunny, being able to break through or at least chip the fat stuff that can stave it off such as Slowbro, Toxapex, Corviknight, Zapdos, and Gliscor. In exchange, Lop not only staves off Chomp's offensive answers such as Weavile and Koko, but also can pivot on its own answers into the sand shark, giving it a free in where it wouldn't get it normally. Both of them can pave the way for the other to clean up, creating an extremely potent offensive core.

Deadline will be Saturday at 10:00pm GMT-4.

Congratulations to adsam for winning cycle 9!! Your team will be added to archives soon.

Cycle 10:

:ss/tyranitar-mega:
Tyranitar-Mega @ Tyranitarite
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 88 HP / 252 Atk / 168 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Stone Edge
- Pursuit
- Crunch

Mega Tyranitar is a great stealth rocker in the tier and is rather bulky and can check a decent chunk of the tier, along with being able to trap anything with pursuit and make psychic-types' lives especially a living hell.

Submission deadline is May 19th at 10 pm gmt-4

:ss/Kartana:

Kartana @ Fightinium Z
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Leaf Blade
- Knock Off
- Sacred Sword

SD Fightinium Kartana is an excellent partner for Mega T-Tar, being able to break through the bulky Steels, Grounds, and Waters that annoy the Mega kaiju. In turn, Mega T-tar is able to get up rocks to chip things into range of Kart and also chip and trap the likes of Mega Latias and Zapdos that threaten to stop Kart in its tracks. I've gone with Fightinium Kart here since imo it pairs better with this specific Mega Tar set (though the core's annoyance with Amoonguss should be noted and if it's too much, Normalium can be used instead)

Drill (Excadrill) (M) @ Rockium Z
Ability: Sand Rush
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Iron Head
- Rock Slide
- Earthquake
- Swords Dance

Do I even have to explain why these two work together? And if you have just only played lc for the past like 10 years, these work well together because sand rush drill go brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr and exca going at the speed of light threatens alot of common mons and with rock z, it can threaten mons like corv and gliscor with a boost.

Reuniclus @ Fightinium Z
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 204 Def / 52 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Recover
- Focus Blast
- Psyshock

Reuni takes the brunt of attacks from the likes of Mega Medicham and Mega Lopunny for Mega Tar, and threatens them back with boosted psyshocks. Mega Tar in return pursuit traps bulky psychics such as Mega Latias and provides substantial chip to opponents via Sandstorm + Hazards, allowing Reuni to clean late game easier.

- U-turn
- Trick

So mttar pursuit traps mlatias which scarf vic hates and in return it breaks things like ferrothorn, amoonguss, and corviknight. And final gambit can break through defensive lando and garchomp and other mons that can wall mttar. Trick can also mess up toxapex which mtar hates. And its also great speed control here. Anyway yeah thats it

Cycle 11:

:ss/serperior:
Serperior @ Leftovers
Ability: Contrary
EVs: 56 HP / 200 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Leaf Storm
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Substitute
- Glare

Serperior has been known to spiral out of control with its dangerous Leaf Storm given the right matchup, but can be tricky to use in bad ones such as against Steel-types. What teammate will you come up with?

Submission deadline is May 27th at 10 pm gmt-4

The Champ (Tapu Bulu) @ Fightinium Z
Ability: Grassy Surge
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Horn Leech
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge

Tapu Bulu is an amazing partner for Serperior, as it forms an amazing GrassSpam core alongside it, further boosting its leaf storms. Furthermore, Bulu lures in and KO’s shared checks such as Corviknight, Zapdos, Moltres and Heatran (Most Bulu are expected to be SpDef / Adamant SD, so Jolly catches them off guard + I feel is a much better speed tier). Bulu can also wallbreak early game and punch severe holes in teams to ease the cleaning up of them with Serp. Serp also can spread Paralysis via Glare, which can turn Bulu into a Potent wincon late game.

Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk

- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Flash Cannon

Magnezone annhilates a lot of the bulky steels serperior hates to go against forming a nice offensive core. Specs can work here but i decided to choose zmove as it has better matchup verses mega mawile, and can nuke heatran and can even kill it if its chipped by a bit. In return serperior deals with bulky ground types such as gastrodon, quagsire, and other ground mons that wall zone.

Ice Punch MMedi is a solid Serperior partner, appreciating its ability to Glare prominent offensive Pokemon, slowing them doen for Medicham to really rip through. In addition, Serperior claps Slowbro and Slowking and weakens Tapu Fini, letting Medicham gain kills much easier. In return, Medicham eviscerates Steel- and Flying-types like Corviknight and Zapdos that hugely bother Serperior.

I hate building around Serp and I hate trying to find partners even more so fuck it have a wild one. Like Magnezone, Alolem's job is to trap and eliminate the Steels that Serp finds itself struggling with, and while it can't as effectively trap the likes of Mawile, Mega Scizor, Corv, and Ferrothorn (and especially not Kart), it still threatens to 2HKO them or even just knock them into Leaf Storm range. However, there is one thing Alolem can do that Zone can't and it is trap the Steel that Serp struggles with most: Heatran. It is able to come in on any Tran move other than EP, outspeed it thanks to Choice Scarf (which lets it ohtspeed even max speed Timid Tran), and OHKO with EQ. That alone I feel gives it a viable niche over Zone, especially since Serp can generally muscle past most other Steels with Leaf Storm + Glare + HP Fire.

Adamant is generally better since you need the power, but if you want to trap something like Drill, you can go Jolly but it is VERY shaky and you're usually better off going Adamant. Also Scarf is mandatory to outspeed Tran because Alolem is SLOWWWWW

Gliscor is a great wallbreaker, being very hard to bring down and can break through most teams quite easily given proper support. How will you make its match?

If there’s two things SD Gliscor doesn’t like, its Corviknight and Skarmory. It also doesn’t appreciate Ferrothorn, bulky Kartana, and Mega Scizor. The great news is that Magnezone traps all of these targets, and the Steels that Magnezone can’t trap (Heatran and Mega Mawile) are handled well by Gliscor. Gliscor also uses defensive Ground-types that Magnezone falters to as setup fodder.
