Introduction:

Hey, I am Ezra and welcome to my first (and last) RMT on my least favorite tier. I wanted to keep this team for NDPL playoffs but unfortunately our team didn't made it and even though I don't share teams that much but since I've quitted, I figured it would be nice to RMT about my worst creation. The team was made as a way to counter the more offensive meta after Gouging Fire got banned since before this, stall was impossible to build around. Mega Sableye being the key member of this team despite being in UU, it is able to annoy both offense and balance teams due to its ability Magic Bounce as well as shutting down teams that rely on rapid spin as their method of removal.

Proof Of Peak:

(This is recent, I did hit higher at one point but I didn't screenshot it, you can see my actual peak in one of the games on the replays section though.)

Teambuilding Process:
:sableye-mega: :chansey:

I started with these two, since there is Sableye to prevent hazard from going up, there isn't a need to use Blissey over Chansey.

:sableye-mega: :chansey: :corviknight: :dondozo: :gliscor:

After that I added these 3 as I believe they are mandatory on every stall teams. Corviknight is able to soft check Tapu-Lele and Kyurem, stall out moves, prevent grass types and dragon types from going crazy and a reliable defogger. Dondozo is by far the best unaware user as well as the only Ogerpon counter on this team. Gliscor is your secondary ground immune as well as electric immune, its also a really strong spikes setter. (Yeah stall isn't that creative I know)

:sableye-mega: :chansey: :corviknight: :dondozo: :gliscor: :toxapex:

I needed something with regenerator and can reliably switch into Urshifu and a way to deal with Fire Spin Volcanion. Toxapex is a perfect fit for this role.

Sableye is the most important member of this team, with its amazing typing and ability, it is able to prevent hazard from numerous mons such as Landorus-T and Ferrothorn. And because of its Ghost - Dark typing, Sableye is immune to both of Medicham's STAB moves which makes it the most reliable Medicham switch in. Max EVs on HP and Def are to not get 2HKO'ed by Headlong Rush from Great Tusk without protosynthesis activated. Hex is used over the more commonly used Protect to deal incredible damage to a statused Alomomola and Great Tusk as well as 1HKO a statused Slowbro with some chip damage. Also Sableye isn't required to mega evolve at the start of the game as sometimes you want to keep its Prankster ability to weaken threats like Choice Band Dragonite or Dragon Dance Kyurem. The Pokemon is named after a clown that I have met for years, which I find incredibly fitting as both share a fair amount of similarities.

Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD

Chansey is basically Blissey but with a much better bulk, allowing it to stay in physical attackers and potentially status them with Toxic or get up Stealth Rocks. This is important because in certain match ups, threats such as Samurott-H need to be dealt with before its too late to gain momentum back, even if it means losing your Chansey. The set is standard, 26 speed IVs is used to always be slower than level 99 Alomomola, max HP and Def to take the minimum damage from physical attacks while still able to switch into special attacks easily. Tera Water is used as a countermeasure to specific Anti-Stall pick like Sun Eruption Heatran and Water type itself is a great typing for a defensive Tera as it only has 2 weaknesses and conveniently resist 4 types that pose as a threat to the team.

- Defog

Not much to say about this Pokemon, Corviknight is a fantastic defogger with its great defensive Steel-Flying typing which let it to comfortably switch into ground types such as Garchomp and Gliscor. The ability Pressure can speed up the process of stalling out moves that can be a nuisance to the team like Salt Cure, also it ensures that Corviknight will always be able to win in a battle between Defog and hazards. 44 Spe EVs combined with Iron Defense + Body Press allows the mon to check physical set up sweepers such as Dragonite and Mega-Mawile while only being vulnerable to critical hits, the rest of the EVs are put into its HP and Def to maximize its bulk. Corviknight doesn't use tera that often but in some rare cases it can be helpful, Fighting is the type chosen as it resist both Rock and Dark type which can lure in the likes of Samurott-H and Arcanine-H with a boosted Body Press and can remove them from the game.

Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 252 HP / 104 Def / 152 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Toxic Spikes
- Scald
- Haze
- Recover

Next is Toxapex, Toxic Spikes are insane into HO teams after you kill their absorber as it is near impossible to get rid of it on the battlefield, Toxic Spikes can also be used after Slowking-G's Future Sight as it discourage your opponent from sending out a grounded breaker. Shed Shell is used to not get trapped by Volcanion and Heatran so its advised to be cautious of Knock Off. Toxapex is SpDef to ease the Mega Charizard Y and Volcarona match up as Chansey alone can be overwhelmed and a little bit of Def investment to not take too much damage from physical attacks, as such Pex is an amazing pilot into mons like Urshifu and Weavile. Tera Ground is used as another electric immune if Gliscor is ever low on HP and act as a Rock resist if Corviknight needs to not Tera in the matchup.
252 Atk Choice Band Weavile Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 252 HP / 104 Def Toxapex: 145-172 (47.6 - 56.5%) -- 87.5% chance to 2HKO
+1 252 SpA Iron Crown Psychic Noise vs. 252 HP / 152+ SpD Toxapex: 212-252 (69.7 - 82.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Ability: Unaware
Shiny: Yes
Tera Type: Dragon
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Waterfall
- Body Press

- Sleep Talk
Dondozo is another stall staple. The ability Unaware combined with its amazing physical bulk make sure that Dondozo can wall almost every setup physical attackers that Corviknight is unable to beat like Ceruledge, Kartana and Ogerpon although for the latter two, terastallize is required. Body Press allows Dondozo to hit Kartana and Samurott-H super effectively as well as not letting it be hard walled by Ogerpon-Wellspring.
252 Atk Cornerstone Mask Tera Rock Ogerpon-Cornerstone-Tera Ivy Cudgel vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Dondozo: 162-192 (32.1 - 38%) -- 1.4% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 Atk Choice Band Urshifu-Rapid-Strike Close Combat vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Dondozo: 193-228 (38.2 - 45.2%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

:sv/gliscor:
Gliscor (M) @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
Shiny: Yes
Tera Type: Dark
EVs: 244 HP / 252 SpD / 12 Spe
Careful Nature
- Spikes
- Knock Off
- Protect
- Earthquake

Gliscor is the chosen spikes setter as its an excellent progress maker and provides incredible longevity versus fatter teams. The reason I picked Protect over Roost is to scout Choice users like Tapu Lele and Dragonite who can mauls through the team, protect also gives Gliscor a free turn to heal and stalling out Pokemon that are statused. Knock Off guarantees that Gliscor can make progress against teams that rely on Heavy Duty Boots to avoid hazard damage or cripple Pokemon that needs Leftovers recovery, Knock Off on Gliscor also discourage Ursaluna from hard switching in as its render useless if Flame Orb is ever knocked off. Tera Dark is selected to bait in Hoopa-Unbound and Choice Band Samurott-H to weaken them with Knock Off, Tera Dark can also be used to absorb Future Sight as a little bonus. Max HP and SpDef allows Gliscor to comfortbly switch into special attacking Pokemon with Volt Switch without worrying about its other STAB.
252 Atk Choice Band Tera Dark Hoopa-Unbound Hyperspace Fury vs. 244 HP / 0 Def Tera Dark Gliscor: 158-186 (44.8 - 52.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Poison Heal
252 SpA Charizard-Mega-Y Weather Ball (100 BP Fire) vs. 244 HP / 252+ SpD Gliscor in Sun: 247-292 (70.1 - 82.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Poison Heal
252 SpA Choice Specs Tera Steel Iron Crown Tachyon Cutter (2 hits) vs. 244 HP / 252+ SpD Gliscor: 272-324 (77.2 - 92%) -- approx. 2HKO after Poison Heal
252 SpA Choice Specs Tapu Koko Hidden Power Ice vs. 244 HP / 252+ SpD Gliscor: 272-324 (77.2 - 92%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Poison Heal
+1 132 SpA Quark Drive Iron Moth Fiery Dance vs. 244 HP / 252+ SpD Gliscor: 214-253 (60.7 - 71.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Poison Heal
Threatlists:
:tornadus-therian: Nasty Plot + Taunt is near unwinnable as you would have to rely on them missing all of its moves. Luckily this set is awful into everything else but stall.
:ogerpon-wellspring: Dondozo is required to use its Tera if it ever set up which can be detrimental in certain match ups, if that is the case try to position yourself to not let it in with Toxic Spikes or keep Sableye in its regular form to threaten to burn it with Prankster Will-O-Wisp.
:ursaluna: and :hoopa-unbound: Not much needs to be said about for these two. They are near un-wallable unless you use some obscure picks.
:charizard-mega-y:
(and friends) Despite being walled by Chansey and Toxapex, Zardy's teammates can overwhelm the team if played correctly.
:weezing-galar: This mon is very uncommon, you would lose if your opponent knows what they are doing.
:pelipper: and :archaludon: To deal with Arch you would have to trade Sableye HP to get it burnt, after that try to stall out rain turns and limit Pelipper's entry with Stealth Rock.

Closing Words:
And thats it for my Pokemon journey or whatever you want to call it, 3 years into Smogon and I have met a lot of awesome people on this website and made plenty of memories with my friends(yk who you are) and the people I have teamed up with and they were fun, unfortunately I don't really care about this website anymore so I am done. There are probably more certain interactions that I haven't explained in this RMT so you'd have to figure them out yourself. Have a good day and remember, anique is ass.

:sv/dondozo:
Dondozo (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
Shiny: Yes
Tera Type: Dragon
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Waterfall
- Body Press
- Rest
