Submitting Mega Charizard Y as a COUNTER

:Ss/Charizard-mega-y:
Charizard-Mega-Y @ Charizardite Y
Ability: Drought
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Flamethrower / whichever fire stab u want
- Solar Beam
- Focus Blast
- Roost

Mega Charizard Y laughs at anything sabeleye can throw at it, taking little from knock off while being immune to Will O Wisp and cleanly 2HKOing it back with its fire stab, even through its maximum SpDef investment, while also staying healthy with roost. Also many stalls only have 1 thing that can take on zard being chansey, which can be dealt with with pursuit support as the trappers can threaten it with knock off in the case of Weavile, stone edge in the case of ttar, and close combat in the case of Aegislash. Therefore, it is a concrete counter.

252 SpA Charizard-Mega-Y Flamethrower vs. 248 HP / 252+ SpD Sableye-Mega in Sun: 169-199 (55.7 - 65.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
0 Atk Sableye-Mega Knock Off vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Charizard-Mega-Y: 76-90 (25.5 - 30.3%) -- guaranteed 4HKO

Submitting Charizard-Mega-X as a Counter.

Decent bulk to take a Knock Off (and doesn't get crippled by it) and immune to Will-O-Wisp, meanwhile Charizard can set up in its face and threaten to OHKO with Flare Blitz, or if Sableye is weakened, take the kill straight away. Should also be worth noting that outside of the bulky Waters like Quagsire, very few like switching into him as well due to the threat of facing him at +1 or just taking a boatload from Flare Blitz. Of course there are some longevity issues especially with hazards and some weird stuff with Foul Play, but you have Roost so you should be good if you're conscientious about hazard control, and very few run Foul play so.

+1 252 Atk Tough Claws Charizard-Mega-X Flare Blitz vs. 248 HP / 8 Def Sableye-Mega: 313-369 (103.3 - 121.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Tough Claws Charizard-Mega-X Flare Blitz vs. 248 HP / 8 Def Sableye-Mega: 210-247 (69.3 - 81.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
0 Atk Sableye-Mega Knock Off vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Charizard-Mega-X: 57-67 (19.1 - 22.5%) -- possible 5HKO

EVs: 252 HP / 212 Def / 44 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk

Who cares about type weaknesses anways ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

With this set reuniclus can win against msable as msables knock does not do enough damage to stop repeated cms,
( 0 Atk Sableye-Mega Knock Off vs. 252 HP / 212+ Def Reuniclus: 110-132 (25.9 - 31.1%) -- guaranteed 4HKO).
Reuniclus can also function as a knock absorber and status absorber stopping msable from doing anything to its teamates

Tapu Fini @ Leftovers
Ability: Misty Surge
EVs: 248 HP / 128 Def / 32 SpA / 100 Spe
Timid Nature
- Scald
- Draining Kiss
- Taunt
- Calm Mind

Tapu Fini completely and utterly counters Mega Sableye. Mega Sableye can Knock Off Tapu Fini's Leftovers but that's really it, on the other hand, Tapu Fini is completely immune to Will-O-Wisp while Misty Terrain stays up and can use Mega Sableye as setup fodder for that time. While Mega Sableye cannot really be hit by Taunt, its other teammates can, making Tapu Fini very effective when it comes to not only easily beating Mega Sableye but also disrupting stall with its tendencies. Of course, Unaware Clefable is the exception here so this set cannot really beat stall consistently, but overall its ability to completely counter Mega Sableye while still being able to fit on a good amount of teams is very valuable.

Reserving Mega Mawile

Mawile @ Mawilite
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 92 HP / 252 Atk / 164 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Play Rough
- Sucker Punch
- Knock Off/Thunder Punch

Mega Mawile can easily force out an already-evolved Sableye with boosted Play Roughs and use these opportunities to setup Swords Dance in order to throttle Sableye's other stall teammates. However, if Sableye hasn't evolved yet, it can use Prankster to outspeed and burn Mawile to render it useless against the rest of the stall team, especially Unaware walls and ID + BP Skarmory. Nevertheless, it's still an exceptional answer to Sableye and is rather easy to fit on teams atm due its ability to also annoy the common Mega Latias Balances as well as several common BO structures like BlissBro thanks to Huge Power and Sucker Punch.

NP Z Belch Hydreigon! (Counter)

Hydreigon @ Poisonium Z
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 8 HP / 220 SpA / 28 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nasty Plot
- Dark Pulse
- Belch
- Roost

Nasty Plot Hydreigon just totally destroys Mega Sableye. Knock Off doesn't do anything and burn helps Hydreigon by not letting it get killed by Chansey. That's why you switch right into a Will-o-wisp. But what about Unaware Clefable? Well it's Z-Belch time! Clefable shouldn't have any reason to use Protect (if its even running that in the first place) and a Z-Belch will just totally destroy it. After that, Hydreigon should just steamroll through a stall team. Though Skarmory's whirlwind might be a one-time problem.

+2 220 SpA Hydreigon Dark Pulse vs. 248 HP / 252+ SpD Sableye-Mega: 162-192 (53.4 - 63.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

+2 220 SpA Hydreigon Acid Downpour (190 BP) vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Unaware Clefable: 428-504 (108.6 - 127.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO

220 SpA Hydreigon Dark Pulse vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Skarmory: 166-196 (49.7 - 58.6%) -- 99.6% chance to 2HKO

Nominating Mega Slowbro as COUNTER lol

Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Iron Defense
- Calm Mind
- Scald
- Slack Off

Slowbro has had enough and now holds a stone to gain 70 base Defense to switch in and take +1 Normalium Double-Edge comfortably, utilizing Iron Defense to remove any hope of breaking through it and having a chance to 2HKO with Scald (since Cinderace won’t stay a fire type) while threatening a burn. Iron Defense as a note surprisingly allows Slowbro to stall out and beat SD LO Rillaboom and have a chance vs Mega Gyarados should they try and switch in as you Iron Defense, common partners for Normalium Cinderace.
+1 252 Atk Libero Cinderace Breakneck Blitz (190 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Slowbro: 202-238 (51.2 - 60.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+1 252 Atk Libero Cinderace Double-Edge vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Slowbro: 127-151 (32.2 - 38.3%) -- 96.7% chance to 3HKO
+1 252 Atk Libero Cinderace Double-Edge vs. +2 252 HP / 252+ Def Slowbro: 64-76 (16.2 - 19.2%) -- possible 6HKO (if you use ID after it uses Normalium)
+1 252 Atk Libero Cinderace Breakneck Blitz (190 BP) vs. +2 252 HP / 252+ Def Slowbro: 102-120 (25.8 - 30.4%) -- guaranteed 4HKO (If they save Z)

Toxapex @ Heavy-Duty Boots

Bold Nature
- Scald

- Recover
- Haze

It's been mentioned before that Normalium Z Cinderace is capable of almost OHKOing the entire metagame at +1; but what if you were to turn this almost into a never? Meet Heavy-Duty Boots Toxapex, the option for builds who think reliable hazard control is lame and instead want to spam hazards at the opponent. Sadly, this is only a check, given the Toxapex player needs to win a single 50/50 (Recover or Haze? The answer is obviously Haze, but for this comp the mon needs to be a true counter to count, and hazing would allow Cinderace to pick up a KO afterward), and then needs to dodge some pretty ridiculous luck otherwise to be a true counter Cinderace, but for all respective purposes, being able to soak up a Normalium Z Double-Edge without dying and being able to recover off the chip damage from it just from switching out is close enough to a splashable counter as you'll ever get.

+1 252 Atk Libero Cinderace Breakneck Blitz (190 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Toxapex: 229-270 (75.3 - 88.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+1 252 Atk Libero Cinderace Double-Edge vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Toxapex: 144-171 (47.3 - 56.2%) -- 82.4% chance to 2HKO

Nominating Jellicent as a Counter!

:ss/jellicent:

Jellicent @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 248 HP / 212 Def / 48 Spa
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald/Hex
- Strength Sap
- Will-O-Wisp
- Taunt/Hex

Jellicent is a fun counter to Cinderace for those of you who want to add something unconventional to your team. Cinderace simply does not have the coverage options to hit a dual Ghost/Water type. Not only will this set hard wall bulk up Cinderace but it also beats virtually every other Cinderace set including random tech like electroball that can threaten Slowbro or Pex. Psychium Z is the only set that could potentially beat this and it still fails to OHKO with the +1 Z move. Strength sap can be spammed to simultaneously keep Jellicent at 100% and Cinderace at +0 Att. Overall, Jellicent isn't a "great" mon but it still holds its own and has a great pool of support options that you can customize to fit your team's needs.

+1 252 Atk Cinderace Pyro Ball vs. 248 HP / 212+ Def Jellicent: 127-150 (31.5 - 37.2%) -- guaranteed 4HKO after Leftovers recovery
48 SpA Jellicent Scald vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Cinderace: 102-120 (33.8 - 39.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
Bonus: 0 SpA Libero Cinderace Electro Ball (80 BP) vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Jellicent: 116-140 (28.7 - 34.7%) -- 99.8% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery
