[OVERVIEW]
Natu is LC's best dual screens setter, providing invaluable support to dangerous setup sweepers such as Scraggy and Tyrunt on dual screens offense. A phenomenal ability in Magic Bounce makes Natu immune to moves like Taunt and Spore from threats such as Mienfoo and Foongus, keeps foes from setting entry hazards, and prevents opposing Defoggers such as Vullaby from removing its dual screens. However, while 17 Speed allows Natu to outspeed much of the metagame, it also causes Natu to Speed tie with Pokemon such as Onix and Mienfoo, which can severely damage or OHKO it. Natu is also weak to Stealth Rock and has a poor matchup against common setters, which can leave it at a disadvantage in certain matchups. Finally, the nature of dual screens causes Natu to give foes multiple free turns, which can be exploited by certain Pokemon such as Dragon Dance Onix.

Moves
========
Reflect and Light Screen provide extra bulk, giving Natu's teammates an opportunity to set up. Thunder Wave provides useful Speed control and a 25% chance of generating a free turn, punishing Pokemon attempting to take advantage of the free turns given by setting dual screens. Teleport allows Natu to safely bring in another Pokemon, typically a setup sweeper such as Scraggy, without taking damage. Natu can also opt to run an attacking move over Teleport; Psychic is its strongest STAB attack, while Dazzling Gleam allows it to hit Dark-types such as Vullaby and Scraggy super effectively. However, these attacks are weak and lack utility when compared to Teleport.
Set Details
========
The given EV spread with a Timid nature maximizes Natu's Speed and optimizes its bulk, allowing it to hit 17 Speed, survive Mienfoo's Knock Off from full health, and prevent Download Porygon from receiving a Special Attack boost. Light Clay increases the duration of Reflect and Light Screen, giving setup sweepers extra turns to set up. Magic Bounce is a terrific ability, providing Natu with immunities to common status moves such as Taunt, Thunder Wave, and Spore. It also prevents opposing Defoggers from removing Natu's dual screens.
Usage Tips
========
Set up dual screens based on the opposing Pokemon. if facing a physical attacker, use Reflect first. If facing a special attacker, use Light Screen first instead. Natu has a much easier time setting up dual screens against an opposing Pokemon slower than it; paralysis support helps ensure this is the case. Use Teleport to safely bring in a setup sweeper to take advantage of screens. Because Teleport moves last, you can pick a setup sweeper with an advantageous matchup against the opposing Pokemon. However, using Teleport requires Natu to take a hit, which may prevent it from setting up dual screens later in the match. Finally, be careful not to let an opposing sweeper such as Nasty Plot Vullaby or Dragon Dance Onix set up on Natu.
Team Options
========
Setup sweepers like Scraggy, Swords Dance Grookey, Tyrunt, and Magby are Natu's best partners and form the basis of the dual screens offense archetype with it. All of these Pokemon appreciate the extra bulk provided by dual screens to set up and sweep teams. Teams featuring Natu typically run two or more setup sweepers. A Focus Sash lead such as Pawniard or Ferroseed, which can set Stealth Rock and paralyze foes, also makes a good teammate; the Speed control provided by paralysis makes it much easier for Natu to get screens up, while Stealth Rock helps sweepers using Natu's dual screens score more KOs.

Other Options
=============
Natu can run an offensive set making use of its good special movepool and access to moves such as Calm Mind and Sucker Punch, but it is outclassed by Abra and Galarian Ponyta, both of which are stronger and faster than Natu. Natu has access to other support options such as Tailwind and Defog, but it typically can't afford to use a moveslot for these.
Checks and Counters
===================
**Onix**: Onix Speed ties Natu, is immune to Thunder Wave, and can OHKO it with Rock Blast. Its Dragon Dance set can set up on Natu with impunity and OHKO it through Reflect with Head Smash.
**Setup Sweepers**: Certain setup sweepers such as Scraggy and Nasty Plot Vullaby can set up on and threaten Natu, but these can be crippled with Thunder Wave.
**Knock Off Users**: Knock Off does significant damage to Natu, even with Reflect active, and reduces the duration of future screens. With the exception of Mienfoo, which it speed ties, most common Knock Off users in LC are slower than Natu, which lets it use Reflect before being hit.
