Natu @ Light Clay
Ability: Magic Bounce
Level: 5
EVs: 236 Def / 76 SpD / 196 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Reflect
- Light Screen
- Teleport
- Thunder Wave
With Magic Bounce and acceptable bulk, Natu is the best dual screen setter LC has to offer. Its Speed stat of 17 and ability Magic Bounce allow it to frequently set dual screens in most situations. Thunder Wave and Teleport accentuate the supportive role of a dual screen setter and are important for bringing in your sweepers during ideal conditions. One of Natu's main weaknesses is Mienfoo, which may win a Speed tie against it and hit it with Knock Off before Reflect is up. Due to this, the most common entry hazard setters on dual screens offense teams are Focus Sash Pawniard and Focus Sash Ferroseed thanks to their ability to paralyze Mienfoo. Powerful sweepers such as Dragon Dance Scraggy, Calm Mind Woobat, Dragon Dance Tyrunt, Nasty Plot Vullaby, and Belly Drum Magby can take advantage of Natu's dual screens.
