This net round sees a fresh Meloetta face a fresh Houndoom. Jayy immediately tries to get type advantage by having Meloetta transform into its Pirouette Forme (lovely form, that is), but it's blocked by a clever Protect and Meloetta is stuck in Aria Forme. Having secured type advantage, Houndoom summons dark shadows to gang up on the singer! With tears in its eyes, Meloetta (literally) retaliates with a vengeful strike that somewhat dents Houndoom, but is quickly swarmed by dark shadows again.
In an attempt to recover some health, Meloetta hits Houndoom with one of its fists and drains some of its HP, but it doesn't do that much in Aria Forme...
Despite UPO dealing big damage, SR played a crucial role in giving the HP advantage to Jayy, which can now order second.
And that's before we even know what the arena will look like next round!

Despite the rain, Houndoom's opening move is to sent a five-pointed fire shape at Meloetta, aided by the Electric Terrain. Suddenly, a familiar melody resonates throughout the arena as the Psychic-type Pokémon suddenly begins dancing, beginning a mesmerizing transformation.
An instant later, Meloetta is in its Pirouette Forme, and wastes no time claiming the battlefield as its own by striking Houndoom down with a flurry of punches!
Now with an offensive juggernaut on its side, Jayy calmly waits for UPO to make its next move, as the rocks on the latter's side of the field still loom menagincly...

UPO sends out Mismagius to replace Houndoom and Jayy decides to switch to Necturna in retaliation.
However, in a clever move, Mismagius seals away Necturna's strongest form of offense! The tree-like creature can only witness its own beating as Mismagius cheerily uses the very move it sealed the previous action, then takes advantage of the hail by using a powerful Blizzard that severely dents Necturna.
UPO manages to get some breathing room with a smart turn, though Mismagius is still on the brink of fainting and Jayy has a solid lead -partially thanks to the sneaky pebbles on UPO's side.
What will our contestants do next?
Which crazy shape will this arena take next turn?
