Tournament Specific Rules
  • All matches are to be played on Pokémon Showdown! under the National Dex Monotype format.
  • Changing teams between matches is allowed in the case of best of 3 players.
  • Any match not specified as a best of 3 is a best of 1.
  • REPLAYS ARE REQUIRED
  • Any tier changes that occur during a round will not be in effect until the following round
  • I expect you to have read the following rules and standard clauses.

All of the following clauses apply:
  • Sleep Clause: If a player has already put an opposing Pokémon to sleep using a sleep inducing move and that Pokémon is still sleeping due to that sleep inducing move, the player cannot put another opposing Pokémon to sleep using a sleep inducing move.
  • Species Clause: A player cannot have two of the same species of Pokémon on their team, based on the National Pokedex Number. For example, a player cannot have two Koffing on their team.
  • Evasion Clause: Players cannot use Double Team or Minimize in any of their Pokémon's movesets.
  • OHKO Clause: Players cannot use Horn Drill, Guillotine, Sheer Cold, or Fissure in any of their Pokémon's movesets.
  • Timer Clause: If a player exhausts the timer, they lose.
  • Endless Battle Clause: Any moveset on any Pokémon that is capable of intentionally causing an endless battle is banned from competitive play.
  • Same Type Clause: Pokémon in a team must share a type

Nefarious Necrozmas (4) vs (2) Trojan Porygons

National Dex Monotype - avarice vs Attitude adjuster - aa beat crashy last week which might mean hes the greatest player to grace this planet. he isnt though but i think he should win here
National Dex Monotype - ashbala99 vs maroon - ngl im not even sure if ive ever actually seen ashbala play a game

National Dex Monotype - King Billu vs Rotten - king billu is pretty good and idk rotten wisped my melmetal that was locked into facade
National Dex Monothreat - TeamCharm vs ToxaNex - i dont know whether im terrified or excited for this game, charm is going to bring some fucking cracked shit and nex is going to bring some solid threat team. threat does definitely reward creative builds though so i can see charm winning

National Dex Monotype - FatFighter2 vs Crashy - what happens if the person he is playing against isnt fat srs q, does he just forfeit the game off the bat? i need the answer to this question. also what happened to the first one?
National Dex Monotype - Blanko vs Alpha Rabbit - dugza tried so fucking hard to trade blanko away during the draft im genuinely surprised hes starting week 2, i think this is another plays mono vs doesnt situation though

Props to Fylkir Pudin for getting these two predictions down -- just missing specific people on Kadabras, but an exact breakdown for Necros v. Porygons!
