Specific Rules:​
  • This is a standard SV NU tournament.
  • Matches are to be played on PS!, preferably on the Smogtours server.
  • All rounds will be a best of three in this single elimination tournament, and you are free to switch teams during your series.
Standard Rules and Clauses:
  • Species Clause: A player cannot have two Pokemon with the same PokeDex number on his team.
  • Sleep Clause: You cannot inflict sleep upon more than one member of the opposing team.
  • Evasion Clause: The moves Double Team and Minimize are banned.
  • OHKO Clause: The moves Horn Drill, Guillotine, Sheer Cold, and Fissure are banned.
  • Endless Battle Clause: Anything capable of intentionally creating an endless battle is banned.
  • Other Smogon tournament rules also apply.

We will be using a seeding system based on Elo this time around like last time. If two players have the same Elo, the person with the higher GXE wins that seed tiebreaker. Seed #1 will play #32 and so on.

(20) luisin vs Zangoose5000 (29) - definitely has a better username
(5) eternal ocean vs Shadow079 (12) - has looked strong in general
(6) Dr. Phd. BJ vs shiloh (11) - one of the highlights of this round, could really go either way but I think BJ will tryhard more
(7) eifo vs Danny (10) - other highlight, if Danny stops playing poker he wins
(8) Tree69420 vs Cynde (24) - plays in last round make this more likely imo
 
(1) loocas13 vs Soucou (16) - loocas is sick with it and I expect him to make a long tour run
(2) Stories vs Django (15) - he did not get the opportunity to show the whippersnappers that he is actually about this shit
(3) Lilo vs Shengineer (14) - both homies and incredibly good players, I lean shengin though
(20) luisin vs Zangoose5000 (29) - Zangoose did send Yoshi back to the retirement home last round, but I think luisin avoids that fate in r2
(5) eternal ocean vs Shadow079 (12) - I understand the error in my ways and I see what eternal ocean is cooking, also free my boy diamonds_realm he got robbed
(6) Dr. Phd. BJ vs shiloh (11) - doctor blow has more PhDs that shiloh
(7) eifo vs Danny (10) - I lost all respect for daniel_ysb after taking the pussy route and act calling after 16 minutes to avoid getting bounced in r1 by ac1d
(8) Tree69420 vs Cynde (24) - I will never bold against Cynde
 
(1) loocas13 vs Soucou (16) - The 2 best frenchmen in the tier, Soucou has more experience which I think will ultimately decide this series.
(2) Stories vs Django (15) - This will go down in herstory.
(3) Lilo vs Shengineer (14) - Sheng will use that degree of his to engineer two winning teams (but will lose a third game to matchup).
(20) luisin vs Zangoose5000 (29) - If luisin avoids getting cheesed this should be easy.
(5) eternal ocean vs Shadow079 (12) - !pick said eo wins.
(6) Dr. Phd. BJ vs shiloh (11) - shiloh has a phd in cooking half decent teams that get the job done.
(7) eifo vs Danny (10) - eifo will be stuck in traffic and Danny will get act again.
(8) Tree69420 vs Cynde (24) - Tree Numbers will clutch up.
 
(1) loocas13 vs Soucou (16) - aside from supporting my former NUPL teammate soucou is a more proven player while I feel loocas is a tad overhyped
(2) Stories vs Django (15) - could honestly see this going either way
(3) Lilo vs Shengineer (14) - solid players, but shengineer has a history of plot armor buffs to give him the edge
(20) luisin vs Zangoose5000 (29) - don't know enough to form an opinion
(5) eternal ocean vs Shadow079 (12) - so long as his moves land when needed
(6) Dr. Phd. BJ vs shiloh (11) - bolding against the doc not in my plans
(7) eifo vs Danny (10) - I'll bold the person who actually wanted to play the previous round
(8) Tree69420 vs Cynde (24) - same as luis vs zangoose
 
(1) loocas13 vs Soucou (16) - loocas has done very well to get top seed and win the first round, but lack of tour experience probably comes into play here. Soucou is also just a very strong player and can definitely win this tour
(2) Stories vs Django (15) - massive skill gap here sorry bud
(3) Lilo vs Shengineer (14) - honestly a toss up, just think Lilo is on a bit of a roll right now but Shengineer does have that mystery element when it comes to teambuilding
(20) luisin vs Zangoose5000 (29) - idk seems more solid
(5) eternal ocean vs Shadow079 (12) - sleeper series, both looked pretty good in their games (although Shadow got very lucky) so expect this to be good
(6) Dr. Phd. BJ vs shiloh (11) - coc doc probably wins the whole thing ngl
(7) eifo vs Danny (10) - the last time these guys played an nu series eifo brought an ampharos and won so yh (also won last round with quaxwell somehow, this guy is cracked)
(8) Tree69420 vs Cynde (24) - tree guy thinks dipplin is the greatest mon ever conceived enough said
