Great sets this week guys! My vote will be going to Flygoner818 , I had fun messing around with Gastro Acid and forcing checks like Amoonguss to keep taking hazard damage. Congratulations to A Cake Wearing A Hat for winning this week! Your set will be added to the hall of fame shortly. TSR and Misa also brought great sets to the table.

For week 8, we'll be looking at one the iron backbones of the tier and our first Mega Evolution, Aggron! With a deceptively large support movepool and plenty of great coverage options, there's lots of room to explore!

Sets are due 3/19/18. The following sets are blacklisted:

Aggron @ Aggronite
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Heavy Slam
- Earthquake / Fire Punch
- Stealth Rock
- Toxic / Rest

Aggron-Mega @ Aggronite
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 Atk / 16 SpD / 240 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Power-Up Punch
- Rock Polish
- Heavy Slam
- Fire Punch/EQ

This was a set from vivalospride and pif. PUP and RP turns Mega Aggron into a great late-game sweeper, due to its fantastic bulk. Though, this set cannot switch into things that defensive sets normally can, since only 16 special defense EVs are invested. Heavy Slam is a good STAB that hits 120 power against many things. The last set is customiseable: Fire Punch for Scizor, or EQ for things like Empoleon that Heavy Slam won't damage. Avalanche or Ice Punch can also be used for Gliscor, but Heavy Slam damages it well anyway. This set can annoy offense, and can find set-up opportunities against mons that can't touch it such as Gliscor and Latias. Overrall, I've had fun using this set and though it's not exactly unpredictable, it can still pull off a late-game sweep. Enjoy!

All we need is blood..

Aggron-Mega @ Aggronite
Ability: Filter
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Block
- Curse
- Rest
- Heavy Slam

Main objective : You trap something that can't Haze / Phaze you or switch w/ U-Turn / Volt Switch and you Curse/Rest till you are satisfied. Then Heavy Slam the oppo to the death (basically this set can 1v1 Pokemon like Mola / Quag which is kinda fun).

Aggron-Mega @ Aggronite

EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Rock Polish
- Heavy Slam
- Head Smash
rock polish sweeper cuz I'm not creative

Yeah babyz here's a set. Rock Polish is damn good and nostalgic and boosts Speed without decreasing the power of Heavy Slam, Head Smash and EQ's gives the EdgeQuake core. Simple.

LOL YOU THOUGHT IT WAS MY SET ? TIME FOR A REAL MAN SET

M A N (Aggron-Mega) @ Aggronite
Ability: Filter
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Endeavor
- Ice Punch / Fire Punch
- Substitute
- Heavy Slam

A man set. Sub on switch and Endeavor or hit the Gliscor w/ Ice Punch which 2HKOes it, or you can replace it by Fire Punch for "better-hitting" the Zor. It tanks very well in physical and is played in genreal to tank Gliscor or Azumarill's attacks. Endeavor wallbreaks a little and since I saw it on the tbuilder, I thought "Why not do a bad set w/ Endeavor ?" so it is here. Heavy Slam is a heavy STAB, like a MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN !!

Screech Mega Aggron

Aggron-Mega @ Aggronite
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 Atk / 16 SpD / 240 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Screech
- Earthquake
- Heavy Slam
- Fire Punch

Screech is not really a Swords Dance, but it can be even more useful if you predict the switch-in of an incoming faster threat such as a Fire type without the need to predict much, before leaving the battlefield.
What I really love of Screech is the fact that, unlikely Swords Dance, it lasts even when you switch-out your Aggron until your opponent switch-out, thus giving you momentum. This means that this move can be a nice -and underrated- supporting move.
Screech also allows you to play around the detrimental effect of burn.

EVs and nature can be changed accordingly to what you want to speed creep...or not.

Another really cool thing about this set is that it allows Aggron to beat through Quagsire, as Unaware only affects opposing boosts.

252+ Atk Aggron-Mega Earthquake vs. -2 252 HP / 252+ Def Quagsire: 203-239 (51.5 - 60.6%) -- 92.6% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

If you catch it on the switch, then you 2HKO it pretty cleanly, but obviously watch out for burns from Scald.
