One of the legendary dog trio. It has a good movepool and mixed stats, but time made it shallow down to basically only two sets. With this in mind, we think it still has room to be explored. However, the following sets are blacklisted:

Suicune @ Leftovers / Waterium Z
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 160 Def / 96 Spe
Bold Nature
- Calm Mind
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Scald

Suicune @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 40 SpD / 216 Spe
Timid Nature
- Calm Mind
- Protect
- Scald
- Substitute

Suicune @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 40 SpD / 216 Spe (or some variation of this)
Timid Nature
- Calm Mind
- Toxic
- Scald
- Substitute

Submissions are due to Friday. Good luck to everyone!

Suicune @ Waterium Z
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature / Modest Nature
- Calm Mind
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam / Signal Beam
- Hidden Power Electric

CM + 3 Attacks Suicune. It's designed as a lure / wallbreaker, although it can also sweep under the right circumstances. Boost once or twice with Calm Mind and KO as much as you can. Hydro Pump is the main STAB Waterium Z remedies its bad accuracy once. Ice Beam hits the Grass and Dragon types that resist Hydro Pump. Signal Beam can be used instead to hit Celebi harder while still maintaining coverage on Hydreigon. Hidden Power Electric hits opposing Water-types hard, 2HKOing Empoleon at +2. Extrasensory can be used to hit Tentacruel harder, but doesn't do much else. EVs simply maximise speed and power.

Cristal (Suicune) @ Icium Z
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 176 Def / 80 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Ice Beam
- Calm Mind
- Rest

The idea its to use this set like a standard crocune against certain teams but the thing about this set its to lure teams that rely on things such Nasty Plot to beat Suicune but while at the same time you're using a defensive set. Icium Z CM on bulky CM retains defensive utility while at the same time allows you to beat certain threats like Celebi, Mega-Altaria or Hydreigon easier.

+1 80 SpA Suicune Subzero Slammer (175 BP) vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Celebi: 374-442 (109.6 - 129.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery

+1 80 SpA Suicune Subzero Slammer (175 BP) vs. 252 HP / 72+ SpD Amoonguss: 378-446 (87.5 - 103.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock and Black Sludge recovery

+1 80 SpA Suicune Subzero Slammer (175 BP) vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Altaria-Mega: 362-426 (124.3 - 146.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock

+1 80 SpA Suicune Subzero Slammer (175 BP) vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Chesnaught: 472-556 (124.5 - 146.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery

My favourite cune set cause
1 - Roar makes you win against roar/ww users and cm users that try to beat you
2 - In hazard staking teams ( in which this set fit better) you can spam roar for the chip dmg
pd: If is too similar to CroCune tell me

We've talked about your set, and we've decided that roarcune probably should've been blacklisted given that it's very similar to CroCune and is a semi popular gen 6 uu set. We're therefore asking you to pick another set if you can; sorry for the inconvenience!

This set returns Suicune to it's roots as a classic fat water with absurdly high defenses. Scald is the STAB of choice since it can fish for burns, roar can phaze troublesome setup mons, toxic can inflict a status on setup sweepers/mons that switch in, and protect is to gather up leftovers recovery. I went with max hp max def to check threats like Musketeers and mamoswine more effectively with the beefed up physdef, but spreads with more speed for stuff like Prim or more spdef for stuff like Nidoking would probably work just as well.

With that, looks like I'm gonna have to break a three-way tie. So, I'm gonna vote for Icium Z. It seems like the set I'd most likely use on a team out of the three, and it seems pretty fun as a lure. So, congratulations to Hot N Cold!

Chandelure is definitely UU's best Ghost-type right now despite the dominance of Hydreigon mostly due to its great wallbreaking power and ability to check Scizor. It's got a few interesting options in its movepool and a lot of unexplored creative sets, so this should be a good round :psyglad:

The following sets are blacklisted:
Chandelure @ Ghostium Z / Leftovers
Ability: Flame Body / Infiltrator / Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Flamethrower / Fire Blast
- Shadow Ball
- Calm Mind
- Substitute

Chandelure @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Flame Body / Infiltrator
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Fire Blast
- Shadow Ball
- Trick / Memento / Energy Ball / Hidden Power Fighting
- Flamethrower / Memento / Energy Ball / Hidden Power Fighting

Chandelure @ Choice Specs
Ability: Flame Body / Infiltrator / Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Fire Blast / Overheat
- Shadow Ball
- Memento / Energy Ball / Flamethrower
- Trick / Energy Ball / Flamethrower

Please get your submissions in by Friday, as usual!

Don't mind me while I copy this sprite because I am too lazy to find my own :)

Chandelure @ Leftovers
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Substitute
- Will-O-Wisp
- Hex
- Flamethrower/Protect

This is essentially Gengar except more powerful. Throw off a Willow Wisp on Hydreigon or other common Chandelure switch ins and destroy them with Hex for the rest of the game. Sub up on Infernape and Cobalion. Sadly this set does not beat Blissey but it does do other things. Enjoy!

HAPPY CHANDY.png

Chandelure @ Leftovers/Iapapa Berry/Colbur Berry
Ability: Flame Body/Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Clear Smog/Hex
- Fire Blast/Flamethrower
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split

This Chandy is a bulkier spread to make it able to more consistently check things like Sciz, Coba, Non-Edge Ape, etc. Clear Smog is an option here if you wish to be a pest to setup sweepers in the vein of infernape, nasty plot Nape should be especially annoyed by this. If that doesn't appeal to you, good old hex should work just as well here. Fire Blast is a strong, spammable stab, while Flamethrower is it's weaker, more accurate counterpart. Will-o-wisp is to cripple various physical attackers like Scizor and Cobalion and other chip-weak mons that see you as a switchin like A-muk, Kommo-o, and Hydreigon. Pain Split is used to be Chandelure's form of recovery. A number of items can work here, leftovers gives you consistent recovery across a battle, Iapapa gives you one massive restore in a pinch, especially useful on a rocks weak mon, and colbur berry makes you a monster against knock-offs and even lets you beat some mons like A-muk in a raw 1v1 with wisp + Split if you have the colbur. The ability is also pretty interchangeable. You can burn U-turn users like Scizor with flame body. But Flash Fire also has good merits in letting you better handle infernape variants, you could probably justify either ability depending on your team. I hope you enjoy it!

Hey Guys, i thought a lot to bring somehting different and at the same time underrated and usable, so i bring this

Chandy.png

Chandelure @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Flame Charge
- Endure
- Flamethrower / Fire Blast
- Shadow Ball

Yeah, so the point is, what about take that EQ of Hippowdon/Swamp/Seis,Krook(non scarf) and hit back with a +2 Stab of the most powerful special attacker of the tier? Looks good aight? Use Endure for make sure Chandy will tank the hit, and then try to sweep against stall(making sure Blissey is gone inb4), or just do a lot of work against other archetypes, Flame Charge is here, so this way, it can make pressure at offensive teams too, with the due support, preferably pair it with a fast defogger such as Klefki if you want to try the sweep or some Scarf Dragon Defog, That's all, i hope you try it ;)

Chandelure @ Leftovers
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Substitute
- Toxic
- Flamethrower
- Pain Split

So, it uses substitute usually. now let's add toxic to this, to get rid of the need to rely on leftovers we have pain split to take advantage and weaken mons to gain back health. yaaay. toxic let's you hit walls such as water types, things like blissey on stall, etc
