Toxicroak @ Fightinium Z
Ability: Dry Skin
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Sucker Punch
- Gunk Shot
- Focus Punch
- Swords Dance
Toxicroak can pivot into water types with ease but often is firing off weak attacks since its counterplay can outspeed or survive a hit even at +2. Focus Punch allows for more damage off the bat. Fightinium grants the ability to nuke without waiting/risking and has an impressive 200 power. Focus Punch also punishes Stall trying to pivot around better. Overall, this set sacrifices its bisharp m/u (somewhat) and longevity in exchange for a better ability to capitalize on the switches it forces.

Toxicroak @ Life Orb
Ability: Dry Skin
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Cross Chop/Low kIck
- Sludge Wave
- Dark Pulse
- Sucker Punch/Ice Punch

Between Infernape and Kommo-o I'm convinced mixed fighting mons are inherently broken. And this Toxicroak set abuses that to high hell. Mons that would normally check Physical Croak like Slowbro and Palossand are going to get a nasty surprise from dark pulse. Where as mons suited only to checking special Croaks might take too much damage from a physical fighting STAB or from one of Croak's coverage moves. I chose Cross Chop and Low kick as the most likely STABs since anything weaker will struggle to pick up important KOs. Sludge Wave was the special STAB of choice Since it can do immense damage to physdef Altaria-Mega, who is often deployed to check mixed fighters in the vein of Infernape and Kommo-o. Dark Pulse is here to punish the aforementioned Palossands and Slowbros that you manage to trick into thinking you're a physical Croak. Sucker Punch can be used for a strong priority move to pick off faster psychics like Latias and Starmie if chipped, but Ice Punch also earned it's mention here due to Gligar's presence. Overall, this Toxicroak set could prove an absolute menace to certain builds if played correctly. I hope you like the set!

In a very close vote, PapaBisexual's SubPunch Toxic Toxicroak wins the round! Congratulations on winning with that truly interesting set.

PapaBisexual - 4
Galactiknight - 3
Smallsmallrose / Munchlaxandchill / Stickinggum - 1

Bewear has been flying under the radar recently, but with Bisharp here it's seen a *slight* resurgence. This bear's got a bunch of random moves in its toolbox and its natural bulk leaves a lot of wiggle room set-wise, so the submissions for this week should be interesting.

the following sets are blacklisted:
Bewear @ Choice Band
Ability: Fluffy
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Return
- Superpower / Other fighting moves
- Shadow Claw / Earthquake
- Facade / Ice Punch

Bewear @ Normalium Z
Ability: Fluffy
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Drain Punch
- Double-Edge
- Earthquake

Please get your submissions in by Friday.

Substitute + SD Bewear's a cool set pick that brings some extra versatility to the table in comparison to some of its more linearly based set options. You may have seen firsthand what any offensively potent threat can do behind a Substitute (think Nidoking for example) and of course, Bewear is no slouch in this department. When behind a Substitute, you have the option to boost your offensive firepower via Swords Dance or even apply immediate pressure through Drain Punch or a raw Z-Double Edge. As with most other Bewear sets, this one fails to do much in the face of Ghost-types, so it's a good idea to pair it with something like Pursuit Krookodile so that Bewear can operate as freely as possible. It's a great way to take control of the match's pace and flow, especially against defensively oriented teams, and I encourage you to try the set out for yourself!

The EV spread allows you to outspeed Adamant Crawdaunt, which I found to be sufficient since you can most usually apply Substitute pressure against the things that you'd rather outspeed when not using Substitute. It also allows you to live Choice Band Terrakion's Close Combat from full, which may help in a pinch considering that Bewear takes it down with Drain Punch in return.

Bewear @ Leftovers
Ability: Fluffy
EVs: 88 HP / 252 Atk / 168 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Facade
- Taunt
- Drain Punch

This set simply aims to beat out a lot of stall / Balance teams in the longrun through the combination of SD + Taunt. Leftovers is opted for extra recovery which can also mitigate the burn dmg which this set doesn't really fear switching into. Facade allows it to beat Pokemon like Quagsire, Suicune etc 1 vs 1 heavily pressuring them in conunction with Taunt which shuts down any form of recovery. Drain Punch lets you break through the steel types in the tier + providing passive recovery. The EV spread lets it outpace 164 Spe Modest Primarina and the bulkier Scizor variants going around using about 104 Spe. The rest was placed into HP. The biggest drawback of this set is its innability to hit the ghost types in the tier unless you opt for EQ or Shadow Claw over Drain Punch but in most instances I've found partnering it with Pursuit trappers or Hydreigon for example is the best way to go about it. Hope you enjoy the set ^_^

Bewear @ Assault Vest
Ability: Fluffy
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Return
- Drain Punch
- Shadow Claw
- Facade / Ice Punch

Designed as a bulky tank, Assault Vest Bewear can give and take a lot of punishment. Return is a strong STAB with no drawbacks. Drain Punch is chosen as the secondary STAB to keep Bewear healthy. Shadow Claw hits the Ghost types immune to Bewear's STABs. As Shadow Claw + STABs has perfect neutral coverage, the last slot is mostly filler. Facade is a nice option in case you get burnt, while Ice Punch hits Flying types hard. EVs maximise Special Defence over HP as its HP stat is much higher. Also, it increases Drain Punch recovery. This set is not meant to be a wall - it's an attacker that can take hits if it has to.

Calcs:

252 SpA Hydreigon Devastating Drake (195 BP) vs. 0 HP / 252 SpD Assault Vest Bewear: 223-264 (58.5 - 69.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 SpA Choice Specs Gengar Focus Blast vs. 0 HP / 252 SpD Assault Vest Bewear: 282-334 (74 - 87.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 SpA Manectric-Mega Overheat vs. 0 HP / 252 SpD Assault Vest Fluffy Bewear: 209-247 (54.8 - 64.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 SpA Choice Specs Kyurem Draco Meteor vs. 0 HP / 252 SpD Assault Vest Bewear: 229-271 (60.1 - 71.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 SpA Chandelure Fire Blast vs. 0 HP / 252 SpD Assault Vest Fluffy Bewear: 280-331 (73.4 - 86.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 SpA Latias Psychic vs. 0 HP / 252 SpD Assault Vest Bewear: 188-224 (49.3 - 58.7%) -- 98.8% chance to 2HKO

Bewear @ Choice Band
Ability: Fluffy
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Return
- Superpower
- Earthquake
- Toxic

Bewear pulls a lot of fatmons in due to its raw strength. Hippo, Mola, etc. don’t appreciate the toxic wearing them down. With toxic to hit jellicent, it’s safer to run EQ and hit steels without getting the defense drop.

Bewear @ Leftovers/Iapapa Berry
Ability: Fluffy
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Superpower
- Toxic/Roar
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

Remember how Fluffy DOUBLES defense? This Bewear set abuses this to be a catch-all physical wall to a majority of the tier's physical attackers, easily shrugging off hits from mons like Mega Shark, Crawdaunt, Bisharp, and Mega Aerodactyl as examples.
252 Atk Tough Claws Aerodactyl-Mega Wing Attack vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Fluffy Bewear: 110-132 (24.7 - 29.7%) -- 10.7% chance to 4HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
252+ Atk Strong Jaw Sharpedo-Mega Psychic Fangs vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Fluffy Bewear: 136-160 (30.6 - 36%) -- 0.9% chance to 3HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
252+ Atk Choice Band Adaptability Crawdaunt Crabhammer vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Fluffy Bewear: 142-168 (31.9 - 37.8%) -- 29.7% chance to 3HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
+2 252+ Atk Life Orb Bisharp Iron Head vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Fluffy Bewear: 152-179 (34.2 - 40.3%) -- 94.3% chance to 3HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery

In a pinch, it can even take threats like the swords of Justice and Scizor, just be careful if any of the above have fighting Z-moves though. If the fighting Z-moves aren't present, it can stomach one hit and OHKO the swords of justice in return or healing on Scizor. It can also roar Mega Altaria in an emergency if you're Roar Bewear.

+2 252 Atk Terrakion Close Combat vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Fluffy Bewear: 324-384 (72.9 - 86.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
+2 252 Atk Cobalion Close Combat vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Fluffy Bewear: 254-302 (57.2 - 68%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
+2 252 Atk Cobalion Corkscrew Crash (160 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Bewear: 339-399 (76.3 - 89.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery (Coba's corkscrew doesn't even KO despite it bypassing fluffy!)
+2 252+ Atk Scizor Superpower vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Fluffy Bewear: 238-282 (53.6 - 63.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
+1 252 Atk Pixilate Altaria-Mega Return vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Fluffy Bewear: 222-264 (50 - 59.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery (You can proceed to status or roar this)

Anyway, This Bear isn't short on power just because it isn't running an offensive set. Superpower is the sole attack move of choice for this set because it OHKOS Terrakion always and OHKOs -1 Coba without any investment, letting you EMERGENCY check those mons if you play your Palossand or Gligar or whatever wrong in their presence.
4 Atk Bewear Superpower vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Terrakion: 342-404 (105.5 - 124.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO
4 Atk Bewear Superpower vs. -1 0 HP / 0 Def Cobalion: 378-446 (117 - 138%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Roar or toxic is a tossup. Roar lets you shuffle out boosted physical attackers that manage to miss KOing you (Which is most of them without Z) and Toxic lets you spread status to things you check as well as things that check you, letting you leave them with a nasty present. Restalk is used here to ensure that Bear can survive throughout a game and continously check physical threats. The item is a tossup too. Leftovers gives you continuous healing to sustain Bear, but Iapapa can give you one burst heal if you need to play Bear in a risky manner around more threatening physical attackers. I hope you like the set!

Bewear @ Leftovers
Ability: Fluffy
EVs: 252 HP / 220 Def / 36 SpD
Impish Nature
- Bulk Up
- Return / Facade
- Drain Punch
- Earthquake / Shadow Claw

While this set is pretty much an inferior Snorlax, this Bewear set isn't crippled when its item is knocked off like Lax is. This set is best to use on BO teams that needs a physical Dark check. The idea is to setup against something like Bisharp or Krookodile and proceed to spam dual STAB unless your opponent has a Ghost-type in which you'd go for EQ for Gengar or Shadow Claw to hit stuff like Jellicent. The HP and Defense investment lets Bewear take an unboosted All Out Pummeling from Terrakion after Stealth Rock at +1 and then Drain Punch the damage back. The rest I just threw into SpD to take some weaker hits better although you could probably just move the rest into Attack or something.

252 Atk Terrakion All-Out Pummeling (190 BP) vs. +1 252 HP / 220+ Def Bewear: 354-416 (79.7 - 93.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery

+1 0 Atk Bewear Drain Punch vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Terrakion: 320-380 (98.7 - 117.2%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO

Scary (Bewear) @ Leftovers
Ability: Fluffy
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 64 HP / 244 Atk / 200 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Drain Punch
-Taunt
- Shadow Claw

This is the traditional sd lefties set but with a twist. As you can see I removed Eq and Facade with Shadow Claw and Taunt. This is also very similar to @Twilight's Stallbreaker build but has shadow claw to deal with ghost types such as gengar, which has been rising in usage lately. Taunt is there to stop set-up sweepers/slow defoggers/spinners and force a switch. Bewear can then get an SD up to possibly sweep. As Twilight said, SD+Taunt is meant to rip a hole through stall teams and offensive teams alike. Drain Punch can also be a helpful recovery along with lefties in case of outspeeding (which will happen often). Adamant almost max attack can explain itself, but I put 200 speed on this thing to outspeed half-invested Scizor (144 Ev's) and generally other threats, The rest went into HP.

This was my first NBT so I hope you enjoy!
