Pretty sure the reserve for Chlorophyll Sweeper is outdated so I'm stealing it?

(Still no sprites on mobile)
Tangrowth @ Life Orb
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Rash Nature
- Growth
- Rock Slide
- Earthquake
- Giga Drain

Sucks but with heat rock torkoal support (convenient thanks to it getting hazards and yawn and also helping with the cele matchup) switch this in when skarm and cele's gone down, and sweep.

+2 4 Atk Tangrowth Rock Slide vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Charizard-Mega-Y: 528-624 (177.7 - 210.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO

+2 4 Atk Tangrowth Rock Slide vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Volcarona: 612-724 (196.7 - 232.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO

+2 4 Atk Tangrowth Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Heatran: 400-472 (103.6 - 122.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO

+2 252 SpA Tangrowth Giga Drain vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Tapu Fini: 348-410 (101.4 - 119.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO

+2 252 SpA Tangrowth Giga Drain vs. 80 HP / 0- SpD Landorus-Therian: 292-345 (86.1 - 101.7%) -- 87.5% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

+2 4 Atk Tangrowth Earthquake vs. 248 HP / 0 Def Magearna: 256-302 (70.5 - 83.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock (Take this calc in tandem with the fact that at a healthy range (<60%), none of magearna's typical moves can kill you)

May add more calcs later, don't bet on it.

although you are relying on a 30% chance it's still a cool ''tech'' to punish torn/m-lati@s/zam/lele/zards/volcarona/pinsir/lucha that doesn't fear much switching/staying on Tangrowth

Bind is actually a interesting tech,as you trap the opposing pokémon when providing momentum for a switch-in as well, such as trapping M alakazam,Lati, etc for a pursuit trapper,as well as fitting well for a fat mon as tang

Thank you everyone for another fantastic weeks of submissions! Returning to my usual motif of apologising for delays, I'd like to apologise for another delayed project, although I should be returning to a proper schedule, since my exams are finally over, so there's something to look forwards to. I'd also like to use this as an opportunity to explain the current situation around the hall of fame. Simply put, I'm trying to create a more accessible and a more pleasing layout, as I'm not happy with the current look. Now with that being said, here are this week's nominees:

Quick Note: I've placed them in a hide tag simply because the list is huge, thank you for the cooperation.

GK + HP Fire can check teams that have threats like Kartana and SubZygarde, without being walled by Ferrothorn

0 SpA Tangrowth Grass Knot (120 BP) vs. 188 HP / 0 SpD Zygarde: 147-174 (36.3 - 43%) -- 97.2% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

Thank you everyone for voting once again! This week's winner is mellowyellowhd with the set I forgot to blacklist! Congratulations, you're submissions will be added to the hall of fame very shortly.

This week's subject is Reuniclus! I honestly can't tell you how long I've been waiting to do this, but we're finally here! While the meta has developed into an environment where it's not as favourable as it once was, thanks to the rise of threats such as Ash Greninja, Hydreigon and Tapu Fini, Reuniclus remains a fantastic pick in the current meta, heavily pressuring common Fire-Water-Grass cores, as well as crushing volt-turn cores such as Magearna + Rotom + Tangrowth which are both commonly found on bulky offence, whilst also pressuring many common breakers found on the said archetype. I don't want to go on about Reuniclus too much considering that (to no one's surprise) I'm actually working on another Reuniclus post as we speak.

Here are this week's banned sets!

Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 212 Def / 44 Spe
Bold Nature
- Calm Mind
- Energy Ball
- Psychic
- Recover

This set is for teams that do not have a reliable answer to stall. Energy Ball Reuniclus is able to handle viable mons frequently used on stall such as Mega Sableye, Pyukumuku, and Quagsire. If you run Focus Blast, or Psychic / Psyshock, you are unable to hit Mega Sableye and wind up losing to it or being forced out after setting up. Energy Ball is also a clean OHKO on Quagsire, and chips down Pyukumuku heavily.
0 SpA
Energy Ball vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD
: 124-148 (39.4 - 47.1%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

0 SpA
Energy Ball vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD
: 444-524 (112.6 - 132.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+2 0 SpA
Energy Ball vs. 248 HP / 252+ SpD
-
: 102-121 (33.6 - 39.9%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

0 Atk
-
Knock Off vs. 252 HP / 212+ Def
:
110-132 (25.9 - 31.1%) -- guaranteed 4HKO(no item)

Reuniclus @ Life Orb
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Psychic
- Focus Blast
- Shadow Ball
- Recover

Straightforward AoA life orb attacker. Psychic for stab (psyshock doesn't do much more to chansey than focus blast), Focus Blast for darks and steels (notably, life orb guarantees the ohko on tran and ttar), Shadow Ball for opposing psychics, Recover for much-needed longevity. 4 Spe to creep uninvested base 30s, max power and bulk (although the EVs aren't optimized, some could be moved from HP to Def or SpD to live certain attacks).

Reuniclus @ Grassy Seed
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 212 HP / 248 Def / 44 Spe
Bold Nature
- Calm Mind
- Psyshock / Psychic
- Signal Beam / Energy Ball / Flash Cannon / whatever
- Recover

Grassy Seed Reuniclus is a nice tech as it lets you take Knock Offs much easier thanks to the lack of an item and +1 Def in Grassy Terrain. Obviously the set mandates Bulu support, and isn't as consistent as Acid Armor because the Defense boost is only single use, but it does allow you to run a secondary attack, allowing you to actually break Stall. The spread lets you live 2 Knock Offs from Choice Band Weavile once the Grassy Seed has been procd.

Flash Cannon because that’s all that’s left that is semi viable

Reuniclus @ Psychium Z / Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 212 Def / 44 Spe
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Atk, 0 Spe
- Calm Mind
- Psychic / Psyshock
- Flash Cannon
- Recover
Basically if you want your team to be able to handle Clefable stall than this is the set for you.

Reuniclus @ Psychium Z / Life Orb / Colbur berry
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Atk, 0 Spe
- Trick Room
- Psychic / Psyshock
- Focus Blast
- Shadow Ball / Energy ball / Recover

Trick Room Reuni abuses the fact that people like to deal with it through fast darks like weavile and tyranitar, allowing Reuniclus to act first and deal massive overkill damage with Focus Blast instead of the other way around. It also has a lot of flexibility, not just in move/item choice but in the fact that a Psychium Z gives the option to either eliminate taunt and Focus Miss accuracy issues from the game with Z-trick room, or fire off a strong Shattered Psyche.

Toxic Reuniclus

Reuniclus @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 212 Def / 44 Spe
Bold Nature
-Calm Mind
-Psyshock
-Toxic
-Recover

This trades the standard set's extra physical bulk (provided by Acid Armor) for the ability to badly poison Dark-types and other threats on the switch in, 1v1 Unaware mons more easily, and be less passive in general. It's also easily spammable because Magic Bounce and Synchronize (sab, mew, etc) don't matter to something with Magic Guard. Besides, why rely on Toxapex to poison stuff so you can win when you can Reuniclus do it itself? That makes the teambuilding process much less restrictive.

>this gives pyuk the middle finger too :fukyu:

Reuniclus @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 212 Def / 44 Spe
Bold Nature
- Calm Mind
- Acid Armor
- Psychic
- Recover

Rocky Helmet can be usefu on Reuniclus because it helps to beat stuff like Tyranitar spamming Crunch as it just Acid Amors up.

AV Reuniclus:

Reuniclus (F) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 240 HP / 64 Def / 40 SpA / 116 SpD / 48 Spe
Bold Nature
- Focus Blast
- Psyshock
- Knock Off
- Night Shade / Shadow Ball / Energy Ball / Flash Cannon / Psychic / Thunder / Future Sight / Hidden Power Fire

This cryptic set is able to deal with all lele variants solidely, while also beeing able to pivot into magearna, alakazam, keldeo, magnezone, kind off heatran (having to hit two fblasts is annoying and firium z magme storm variants as well), Latios, LO KB, Tapu Fini and to deal with weakened set up magearnas guaranteed, as you can knock off whatever item they have (for example lefties, if they arent confirmed z) and beat them down with night shade, furthermore they have to fleur cannon to deal real damage (dual dance with flash cannon isnt really common), which drops the spatk obviously and allows you to beat it, if you play around it wisely. It also pivots into koko bar z wild charge variants with an intact z move and offers a switch in option for pex, espacially after you knocked it off but is rather shakey as a hard counter in comparison to the cm set. the phys. def investment allows it to live luchas acro without rocks, to have a better chance to live 2 hjks from medi without rocks (it isnt really a safe switch but can come in after intimdate or allow lando to get an intimidate of respectively, to then check it). it also allows reuni to live 2 psyschocks from specs lele and a crunch from non banded ttar (if they get minimal chip you guarenteed knock them out with fblast in return. double switching and or knocking them with reuni or a diffrent pokemon is advised). the spdef allows it to live two moonblasts from specs lele, while the speed allows it to outpace pex. this is combined with enough spatk to score the 2hko on pex after it got knocked of, even without hazards. psyschock over psychic for cm lele and volc and stuff like that, focus blast for dark types like tyranitar, bisharp and greninja, knock off for the utility and annoyingly overpowered choiced mons like hoopa, tyranitar and lele, which would overwhelm this set/your team and as said, the utility versus celesteela, leftovers mag, fini, heatran or chansey which are reliant on their items and night shade provides a safe damage source versus dual dance magearna for instance but the last slot is flexible

For future reference, it's usually frowned upon to have anymore than 3 slashes when posting a set anywhere. It's just kind of confusing and looks really excessive. Just slash the more useful moves and mention some of its other options in your post description instead.

Double Screen Reuniclus

Reuniclus @ Light Clay
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 200 Def / 56 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Light Screen
- Reflect
- Explosion
- Future Sight

Here we have a support Reuniclus with the two screens enhanced through the use of Light Screen, which makes them quite appealing.
Explosion is chosen in order to keep the momentum in our favour without wasting too many turns when we don't need Reuniclus anymore.
Future Sight is chosen in order to avoid wasting a turn if the opponent switches directly into a Dark-type pokemon (that is ) and this fact is really likely to happen.

The Evs spread is picked from the dex, but with a Relaxed nature in order to have a minimum power behind the Explosion.
