Welcome to the first ever NFE Classic, this tour will focus on the metagame of NFE in the previous generations of Pokemon. Players will compete in separate cups for SM, ORAS, BW, and DPP, fighting for a shot of the grand finals, where NFE players will put their old gens knowledge to the test for the crown of NFE Classic.
The format consists of four separate tournaments: The DPP Cup, The BW2 Cup, The ORAS Cup, and The SM Cup. Each cup is a single elimination, best of three tournament. You will be awarded points depending on your performance in each Cup. The point system will be the same as the one used in Smogon Classic. When all the Cups have been finished, the eight players with the most points will advance to the playoffs. There they will battle in a best of three series until there is one undisputed NFE Classic champion.
Due to not having a subforum, signups will be announced via this commencement thread, and will be ran on the NFE Discord, where you will sign with your Smogon Username. Tournament brackets will be hosted on the Bracket Thread linked here. You will sign using your Smogon Username for the appropriate tour, then from there will be tagged on Smogon as usual. Dates and hosts for the seperate cups are listed below.
