Piloswine @ Choice Band
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant / Jolly Nature
- Icicle Crash
- Earthquake
- Ice Shard
- Stealth Rock / Toxic

Piloswine truffles feathers with its Choice Band set, tearing through teams with its unresisted STAB combination. Earthquake can break through most of the tier, while Icicle Crash is perfect for Ground-resistant and -immune Pokemon like Vullaby, Tangela, and Thwackey. Ice Shard is a great tool to threaten faster threats such as Roselia, Hakamo-o, and heavily chipped Electabuzz. Stealth Rock capitalizes on Piloswine's ability to pressure most entry hazard removers, while Toxic wears down checks like Galarian Corsola and Wartortle over time. Toxic is also a strong midground option that reduces the prediction needed in matches, as Piloswine can often have a difficult time deciding which STAB move to use against certain teams. It's important to pair Piloswine with Pokemon like Clefairy and Vullaby that can remove opposing Eviolites while checking Pokemon that can give it trouble such as Gurdurr and Galarian Corsola. Pairing Piloswine with pivots like Electabuzz, Thwackey, and Wartortle can help keep pressure on the Grass-types of the tier, though you should run High Horsepower with Thwackey.

Electabuzz isn’t worth mentioning because of that huge Focus Blast weakness without an Eviolite. With an Eviolite, Piloswine is used with a teammate that can sponge its coverage like Tangela, Thwackey, or Duosion until you feel like you have a safe read to bring Piloswine into Volt Switch. Without Eviolite, Piloswine drops to Focus Blast after SR, so it’s too big of a risk.

Instead, you can add a point about pivots like buzz, wart, and thwack bringing pilo in on vulnerable Grass-types (but to use HH instead of EQ with thwackey).

Great job qc 1/1 make sure it’s written as Galarian Corsola for GP’s sake btw.
