Roselia @ Eviolite
Ability: Poison Point
EVs: 248 HP / 204 Def / 56 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Spikes
- Synthesis
- Sludge Bomb
- Sleep Powder / Stun Spore / Giga Drain
Roselia is a thorn in NFE's side with Spikes and a super movepool! Synthesis separates Roselia from the more defensive Ferroseed, while Sludge Bomb threatens out Grass-types like Tangela and Thwackey. Sleep Powder ruins switch-ins like Raboot and Magmar, while Stun Spore permanently cripples Golbat by hindering its defensive duties. Giga Drain gives Roselia more recovery and hits Marshtomp and Piloswine. The EV spread allows it to outspeed Flame Orb Gurdurr and Wartortle while tanking hits from Thwackey and Galarian Linoone better. Poison Point deters Thwackey and Wartortle from pivoting or clearing hazards freely. Roselia synergizes with entry hazard setters like Galarian Corsola and Clefairy, wearing down foes with chip damage. Wallbreakers and cleaners like Raboot and Electabuzz benefit from Roselia's Spikes, allowing them to more easily pick up KOs. Water-types like Marshtomp and Wartortle can check Fire-types, while Magmar and Gurdurr threaten Ferroseed.

Roselia is a true thorn in NFE with Spikes and a super movepool! Synthesis gives Roselia much-needed recovery(much needed sounds awfully generic since a lot of mons would love reliable recovery, mention this is one things that distinguishes it from Ferroseed (which relies on Leech) which used to be the obvious premier Spiker in the metagame, along with the fact it's less passive), while Sludge Bomb threatens out popular Grass-types like Tangela and Thwackey. Sleep Powder incapacitates switch-ins like Klang and Golbat, while Stun Spore ruins fast threats like Raboot and Lampent(While this is all true, Stun Spore also doesn't have the drawback of one another Pokemon is sacked to sleep, where Klang and Golbat would take advantage of it. Stun Spore can be really punishing for Golbat's defensive duties as well being slower than mons like Piloswine stopping it from being able to pivot on certain stuff etc.). Giga Drain provides Roselia with more recovery and hits Marshtomp and Piloswine. The EV spread allows it to outspeed defensive Tangela Flame Orb Gurdurr and Wartortle while tanking hits from Gurdurr and (you get bopped by Ice Punch after a Knock so I wouldn't say you tank, but you're still a decent secondary check to it) Thwackey and Galarian Linoone better. (Also mention what Poison Point does somewhere, otherwise it seems like an odd choice compared to Nat Cure. It dissuades Thwackey from clicking U-turn and Wartortle from clicking Rapid Spin (which synergises excellently with Spikes) or Flip Turn. Roselia synergizes with other entry hazard setters, like Piloswine, Marshtomp, and Galarian Corsola, wearing down foes with chip damage. Wallbreakers and cleaners like Raboot, Electabuzz, and Thwackey benefit from Roselia’s Spikes, allowing them to pick up KOs than without the residual damage. Water-types like Marshtomp and Wartortle can discourage Fire-types from taking advantage of it, while Magmar and Gurdurr can threaten out Steel-types(well the only common Steel-type is Ferroseed, so you can just say that, if there's space you can add mons to deal with Flying-types like Golbat and Vullaby as well since 1) they carry defog, and 2) they either resist both attacks or are immune to the powders that Rose carries) that wall Roselia.

wasn't paying too much attention to the word count so beware, definitely prioritise fitting in poison point mention over other comments but hopefully they all fit. would like another quick look after.

Roselia is a thorn in NFE's (add apostrophe + s) side with Spikes and a super movepool! Synthesis separates Roselia from the more defensive Ferroseed, (semicolon->comma) while Sludge Bomb threatens out Grass-types like Tangela and Thwackey. Sleep Powder ruins dismantles (i think 'dismantles' is better for your overall tone here, but 'ruins' can stay if you want.) switch-ins like Raboot and Magmar, while Stun Spore permanently cripples Golbat and hinders by hindering its defensive duties. Giga Drain provides Roselia with more recovery and hits Marshtomp and Wartortle. The EV spread allows it to outspeed Flame Orb Gurdurr and Wartortle while tanking hits from Thwackey and Galarian Linoone better.
