way too many trap games this week

Arizona @ Baltimore
Minnesota
@ Carolina
Jacksonville @ Houston
Miami @ NY Giants
New Orleans
@ St. Louis
Indianapolis @ Tennessee
Detroit
@ Denver
Washington @ Buffalo
Cincinnati
@ Seattle
Cleveland @ San Francisco
New England

Dallas @ Philadelphia
San Diego
@ Kansas City

Carolina/Minnesota is probably the hardest pick, I'm taking Minny for AP. I'm also scared about the Bills, their line is in shambles right now going up against Orakpo and Kerrigan, and the D-line is hurting too.

8-5, atleast I'm consistent.

Arizona @ Baltimore
Minnesota @ Carolina I don't believe Charles Woodson plays for Carolina.
Jacksonville @ Houston
Miami @ NY Giants
New Orleans @ St. Louis
Indianapolis @ Tennessee
Detroit @ Denver I want to keep this pick, but I can't.
Washington @ Buffalo Washington lost my 'spect.
Cincinnati @ Seattle Toughest stadium to play in.
Cleveland @ San Francisco
New England @ Pittsburgh
Dallas @ Philadelphia
San Diego @ Kansas City Trick or Treat.
10-3, honestly couldn't do much better. Maybe should start believing in the Bengals...

also note to Killah..
i went 10-3 week 8 therefore i should have 80 wins ;)

Indeed you did :pimp:

Standings updated

Highlights or something:

kd24 still in sole possession of first place with 83 wins. Steeler is in second with 81, while DM and Yondie are tied for third with 80.

Seven people tied for the lead this week with ten wins: Yondie, Mercy, Shinryu, Nozizaki, tad38, .I Wish You Well., and Steamroll. A lot more had 9, and no one had less than 7. Unless you count Xephyr, who gambled on 40/1 odds and lost.

Only upsets this week were Minnesotta over Carolina (picked by .I Wish You Well., Nozizaki, Yondie, myself, YTP, Brizznetz, Mercy, and DM), St. Louis over New Orleans (picked correctly by... yeah, right), Pittsburgh over New England (picked by BrazilianGuy, .I Wish You Well., Kevin Garrett, myself, Galladiator, YTP, Shinryu, porygon3, Steeler, and Fabbles), and Kansas City over San Diego (picked by tad38, Nozizaki, Yondie, Steamroll, and Fabbles). I should probably only save this space for big upsets, but there weren't any that were picked this week so yeah :@

Calling it now, next week will be upset central! You heard it here first.

Killah, you are mistaken to say "only". Favorites win about 11/16 games a week, so 4/13 or whatever is exactly normal.

This week looks really tough. I'm going to wait until Sunday morning for an accurate injury report since I was uninformed about Trent Cole coming back last week and picked Dallas (not that the Eagles needed him with the way the Cowboys were playing). I guess with nobody getting more than 10, 8 isn't bad, but nobody less than 7 means it isn't particularly good.

I'm not even mad at NO for losing, I have S-Jax in fantasy and he beasted it for me. As for the Eagles finally showing up (and Rivers shitting the bed again)... GODDAMMIT.

But let me tell you how many bricks I was shitting during those early games when Miami, Arizona, and Carolina all looked well on their ways to winning. Good thing they all realized they can't.

lol lukewarm season. I'd like to think 59% is still ok on a normal level though...

Miami @ Kansas City - Well...yeah
Atlanta @ Indianapolis - Not falling for this trap again
Tampa Bay @ New Orleans - bipolar?
NY Jets @ Buffaro - Risky, but I like the Bills
Seattle @ Dallas - If they don't win this I'll lol
Cleveland @ Houston - See above
San Francisco @ Washington - I don't think SF is all that good but lolskins
Cincinnati @ Tennessee - tough one
Denver @ Oakland - TebOHGNOS!
NY Giants @ New England - I think the Giants CAN do it, but they won't
St. Louis @ Arizona - lol bowl
Green Bay @ San Diego - j/k San Diego has only played 7 games so far lolol
Baltimore @ Pittsburgh - As usual, these two split their matchups
Chicago @ Philadelphia - Oh philly figured out how to win

Miami @ Kansas City (Didn't think KC would be legit, yet here they are. Then again even if they weren't they'd probably be the better pick here, lolMiami)
Atlanta @ Indianapolis (Speaking of lol-worthy teams...)
Tampa Bay @ New Orleans (Really tough to go with the Saints after the loss to the Rams of all teams, but it should be a wake-up call)
NY Jets @ Buffalo (Jets are inconsistent and Buffalo is solid)
Seattle @ Dallas (Maybe Seattle will go 2-0 for the season against the NFC East... probably not though)
Cleveland @ Houston (Houston is finally going places, Cleveland on the other hand...)
San Francisco @ Washington (Another team that was supposed to be bad/average and has suddenly made a decent case to be considered the second-best team in the NFC)
Cincinnati @ Tennessee (All the talk about Baltimore and Pittsburgh duking it out for the division lead, yet no one seems to remember the Bengals being tied with the Ravens at 5-2 and only just behind Pittsburgh at 6-2. Of course Cincy still hasn't played either of them...)
Denver @ Oakland (Hopefully after two weeks Palmer knows a bit more than 15 plays...)
NY Giants @ New England (Going to go for the upset homer pick here, not entirely sure why. GO GIANTS!)
St. Louis @ Arizona (Solid week last week and they finally are hitting the easier portion of their schedule)
Green Bay @ San Diego (San Diego arguably has the talent to win this game but it just won't happen, Packers too good and San Diego too inconsistent (also lol Rivers))
Baltimore @ Pittsburgh (Two teams trending in opposite directions; Baltimore is coming off a loss to the Jags and a near loss to the Cardinals while the Steelers are all fired up after beating the Patriots)
Chicago @ Philadelphia (If the Dallas game was any indication Philly may very well finally have their shit together, which is bad news for the rest of the NFC (bar the Packers))

Miami @ Kansas City
Atlanta @ Indianapolis The Falcons have to be silently good, not loudly.
Tampa Bay @ New Orleans :/
NY Jets @ Buffalo Jets are still a horrible road team... for now.
Seattle @ Dallas
Cleveland @ Houston
San Francisco @ Washington
Cincinnati @ Tennessee Did anyone think Matt Hasselbeck would be the best offensive player?
Denver @ Oakland This game will be ugly.
NY Giants @ New England The Giants will soon remind us... that they are the Giants.
St. Louis @ Arizona Kolb had a good career.
Green Bay @ San Diego The Packers are going to lose soon, why not now?
Baltimore @ Pittsburgh Which Pittsburgh shows up this week? The bad one.
Chicago @ Philadelphia

Miami @ Kansas City - Predicting the game to be surprisingly close, though
Atlanta @ Indianapolis - Atlanta's only average when they're not in a groove, but they'll be looking to continue their recent success against a terrible opponent.
Tampa Bay @ New Orleans - Upset alert! ...Well, it would be if Tampa didn't already win their first matchup, and New Orleans didn't lose to the Rams last week. The recipe for beating New Orleans is a good D-Line, better secondary, and the ability to make them one dimensional. Tampa can dominate time of possession and pressure Brees, while covering the Saints' main threats. Jimmy Graham will be the key; it's no coincidence that when he was held in check the Saints lost.
NY Jets @ Buffalo - Oh dear. The Jets, though they've had their share of struggles, are somewhat of an antithesis to the Bills; they have the defense to stop the Bills' offense, and the offense (though it's had its share of struggles) to score enough points to keep them ahead.
Seattle @ Dallas - Seattle outgained the Bengals by 160 yards and got blown out by 22 points... ouch. Dallas might learn to run the ball, but hopefully Romo passes for 400 yards and 4 TDs so he can win me a damned fantasy game for once
Cleveland @ Houston - Though there will be more Colt McCoy jerseys in the stands than Matt Schaub jerseys...
San Francisco @ Washington - Washington is quite literally the worst team in the league right now, without all their offensive playmakers. That is, unless you count Fred Davis as a playmaker.
Cincinnati @ Tennessee - Like the Bungles, the Titans had almost a hundred yards less than the Colts last week and won in a blowout...
Denver @ Oakland - How long until the fans turn on Tebow? Surely Brady Quinn is the answer!
NY Giants @ New England - Who'd have thought that the Giants would be 31st in yards per rush? Pats will bounce back, though their 3rd ranked offense is only mediocre
St. Louis @ Arizona - Kolb's out, Wells might be out, Bradford will probably play
Green Bay @ San Diego - Rivers rebounds, but Packers too strongth
Baltimore @ Pittsburgh - Live with the Flacco, die by the Flacco
Chicago @ Philadelphia - Vick and Cutler get all the attention, but these two teams revolve around McCoy and Forte. The Bears might be able to contain the former, but Forte will have a field day; if Cutler can remain relatively mistake free, the Bears should come out on top.
