Afternoon games were not kind to me, but I could still end up 9-5 if Pittsburgh and Philly win (which they won't, but =/)

Baltimore @ Seattle
NY Giants @ San Francisco
Detroit @ Chicago
New England @ NY Jets If you can't beat the Giants, you can't beat the Jets.
Minnesota @ Green Bay I really want to pick against them, and seeing the undefeated Pack lose first to my Vikes would be good enough to go in my Thanksgiving speech, but I just can't yet.

EDIT: I picked the home teams for all the close games, except Miami who is at home on the road.

Not all of mine are filled out because I'm not sure of what to pick :P some editing will be done before thursday.

EDIT (11/8/11): Added San Fran v. NYG and Kansas v. Denver

EDIT (11/9/11): Added rest of unpicked teams

Oakland @ San Diego (I have a hard time trusting SD, but they *should* be better than the Raiders)
Arizona @ Philadelphia (See above)
Tennessee @ Carolina (I hate predicting against Carolina because it always feels like it's the week where they'll break through and win again. That being said, the Titans should be the better team)
Houston @ Tampa Bay (Houston is pretty legit this year, but this game will likely tell us just how legit)
Washington @ Miami (Washington has been slipping more and more every week, and Miami has finally broken their goose egg and will be hungry for more)
Jacksonville @ Indianapolis (Great chance for Indy to get their first win but I don't think it'll happen)
Denver @ Kansas City (After losing to Miami this is a tough pick to make but I don't think the Chiefs will let that happen to them twice)
Buffalo @ Dallas (Toss-up, gut is telling me Buffalo)
New Orleans @ Atlanta (This has trap game written all over it, but for now I'll go with the better team. Atlanta at home is tempting though...)
St. Louis @ Cleveland (Another easily winnable game for St. Louis, hopefully they don't fuck it up again)
Pittsburgh @ Cincinnati (Fuck it, going for the upset. Time to see what the Bengals can do)
Baltimore @ Seattle (Should be an easy win for the Ravens; unlike Jacksonville, Seattle doesn't have a decent defense)
NY Giants @ San Francisco (Giants faith!)
Detroit @ Chicago (I desperately want to believe the Lions are one of the top 5 teams in the NFC and can win this game)
New England @ NY Jets (Have to go with the "better" team, but another trap game incoming IMO)
Minnesota @ Green Bay (For once it's easy to pick against Minnesota!)

Oakland < San Diego (Oakland is sucking, McFadden is still out, and SD seemed good against GB)
Arizona < Philadelphia (Unless Patrick Peterson gets a lot of punt/kickoff returns for TD's...)
Tennessee < Carolina (Titans seem to be bad against explosive offenses, and their offense isn't exactly great. Newton should light them up.)
Houston > Tampa Bay (Tough pick since Tampa has shown they can be good. Hopefully we get the Tampa that played SF.)
Washington < Miami (Washington is extremely beat up.)
Jacksonville > Indianapolis (No comment.)
Denver > Kansas City (Tebow time? He was actually okay against Oakland.)
Buffalo < Dallas (I'm believing less in the Bills each week, and Dallas has the defense to stop their offense.)
New Orleans < Atlanta (So nobody beats Atlanta at home? Okay then.)
St. Louis < Cleveland (I feel sorry for whoever gets this game on TV. Home team.)
Pittsburgh > Cincinnati (Bengals haven't played a very tough schedule yet, and they also lost to Denver.)
Baltimore > Seattle (Finally an easy pick, though I hope Seattle wins.)
NY Giants > San Francisco (Pretty tough one, but the Giants have a good defense that should be able to stop Smith and Gore.)
Detroit < Chicago (New Bears team gonna beat the Lions.)
New England < NY Jets (Another pick based on my new philosophy. Great Jets defense beats great Pats offense, and somewhat good Jets offense destroys bad Pats defense.)
Minnesota < Green Bay (I kinda hope Minnesota wins so GB isn't undefeated, even though they deserve it.)

Damn, and I thought last week was tough... Here we go again.

i wanna pick oakland but they suck so bad against the run atm (niggas with one hand rollin up 160+ yards hopy shet) that rivers won't have a chance to fuck it up

i think

big SanDee

Just doing Thursday for now, will make another post later with the rest:

Chargers > Oakland: Assuming Rivers doesn't play Mr. Turnover Man, their offense is more than potent enough to win out against the Raiders. I mean, they just lost to the Broncos, that should tell you how bad Raiders are atm.

Calling it now, next week will be upset central! You heard it here first.
zing

Favorites went 7-7, with Buffaro, KC, Oakland, Tennessee, New England, Pittsburgh, and Philadelphia all losing. Though, as far as this competition goes, I'm pretty sure the most picked teams also went 7-7, the only differences being the Bungles and Rams were picked more.

Quite a few people picked the Jets, Ravens, and Cardinals. Yondie, Kevin Garrett, Flamestrike, Steamroll, and Shinryu picked the Giants to win. Nozizaki, Brizznetz, and Darkpenguin67 correctly picked the Denver Tebows to win. No one picked Miami (like that would ever happen), and Steeler, BrazilianGuy, Shinryu, Foster, myself, and Nozizaki picked the Bears to win.

As expected, rough weeks all around. Over half of us went 8-6, which is decent enough I guess. 3 people went 9-5, and Shinryu and Foster tied for best at 10-4. Fabbles is the goat this week at 5-9, and also was the only person with a losing record this week.

The competitors at the top generally did the worst this week, so while there wasn't a major change all the top competitors got a little closer. kd24 is still in first with 90 wins, Steeler is in second at 89, Shinryu in third at 88, and four others are tied for fourth with 87.

Standings spreadsheet, as usual.
