[OVERVIEW]

Poison
========
High Special Attack and a wide range of coverage moves make Nihilego a good revenge killer or setup sweeper that improves Poison's Fire and Flying matchups. Nihilego's distinctive Speed tier is higher than those of Pokemon like Volcarona, Hydreigon, and Garchomp, making it more challenging to revenge kill. Its part-Rock typing contributes to Poison a lot by threatening Fire-type Pokemon like Volcarona, Victini, and Alolan Marowak with Power Gem and Meteor Beam. Nihilego's coverage moves in Thunderbolt, Grass Knot, and Dazzling Gleam allow it to also check Pokemon like Corviknight, Seismitoad, and Dragapult. Although Nihilego is an amazing revenge killer with both of its sets, it's vulnerable to Water-, Steel-, and Ground-type attacks and priority users like both Urshifu formes, Crawdaunt, and Scizor. Its poor physical bulk makes it take a chunk from physical attacks like Knock Off from both offensive and defensive Pokemon.

[SET]
name: Choice Scarf (Poison)
move 1: Power Gem
move 2: Thunderbolt
move 3: Dazzling Gleam
move 4: Grass Knot / Stealth Rock
item: Choice Scarf
ability: Beast Boost
nature: Timid
evs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Choice Scarf Nihilego usefully outpaces Pokemon like Dragonite, Dragapult, +1 Volcarona, Choice Scarf Dracovish, Zeraora, and Tornadus. Power Gem helps with Pokemon like Galarian Darmanitan, Victini, and Zapdos. Thunderbolt effectively hits Water-types like Mantine and Slowbro as well as Flying-types neutral to Power Gem like Celesteela and Corviknight. Dazzling Gleam is for Dragon-type Pokemon like Dragapult, Dracovish, and Garchomp, notably OHKOing Hydreigon. Grass Knot damages Water- and Ground-types while specifically 2HKOing Gastrodon and Hippowdon and OHKOing Swampert and Seismitoad after chip damage. Stealth Rock is an option over Grass Knot, but it is expendable due to most Fire-, Flying-, and Bug-type Pokemon running Heavy-Duty Boots.

Utilize Nihilego's high Special Defense to switch into Pokemon like Alolan Ninetales, Volcarona, Toxapex, and Zapdos. Because Nihilego is a revenge killer, it does not appreciate being paralyzed. Nihilego struggles with Ground-types like Excadrill, Gastrodon, and Landorus-T, Water-types like Slowking and Barraskewda, and priority users like Azumarill and Urshifu-R, but having Amoonguss as a teammate helps. Amoonguss is Poison's best switch-in to Mold Breaker Excadrill and spreads status like sleep from Spore, paralysis from Stun Spore, and poison from Sludge Bomb, which is beneficial for the entire team. It is threatened by Fire-types like Volcarona, Blacephaleon, and Victini, which Choice Scarf Nihilego can revenge kill. Toxapex helps Nihilego by sponging Steel-type attacks like Iron Head and Bullet Punch while also forming a Regenerator core with Amoonguss. In return, Nihilego revenge kills threats with Psychic-type coverage like Zen Headbutt Cinderace and Psychic Volcarona while benefitting from Toxapex getting rid of items such as Leftovers and Eviolite with Knock Off, spreading status with Scald, Toxic Spikes, and Toxic, and preventing Pokemon like Dragapult and Tapu Bulu from setting up with Haze. Galarian Weezing removes entry hazards with Defog and helps Nihilego with Dark- and Dragon-type Pokemon like Urshifu-S, Dragapult, and Garchomp. In return, Nihilego helps it with Fire-types like Volcarona and Rotom-H along with having Dazzling Gleam itself to further improve Dragon matchups. Skuntank and Drapion offer the team Psychic immunity; Skuntank has Sucker Punch to revenge kill Alolan Raichu and Dragapult, while Drapion has utility moves like Knock Off and Toxic Spikes. They also help with Psychic-types like Galarian Slowking, Latias, and Victini. Nidoking offers Stealth Rock and helps with Electric- and Steel-type Pokemon like Regieleki, Tapu Koko, Ferrothorn, and Aegislash. In return, Nihilego helps with Ice-type Pokemon that threaten Nidoking like Galarian Darmanitan, Weavile, and Kyurem.

[SET]
name: Meteor Beam Sweeper (Poison)
move 1: Meteor Beam
move 2: Power Gem
move 3: Thunderbolt
move 4: Grass Knot
item: Power Herb
ability: Beast Boost
nature: Timid
evs: 80 HP / 176 SpA / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Power Herb Meteor Beam deals major damage and raises Nihilego's Special Attack in one turn, which works well with Beast Boost raising Speed after every KO. Meteor Beam is usually a one-time use move considering Power Herb, so Power Gem is ideal for consistency in the rest of the match. Thunderbolt helps with Water- and Flying-type Pokemon like Mantine, Toxapex, and Celesteela, further improving Nihilego's Flying matchup. Grass Knot is crucial for removing bulky Ground-types like Swampert and Seismitoad. The given EV spread causes Beast Boost to raise Speed, which makes Nihilego faster than the likes of Choice Scarf Landorus-T and Tornadus-T after a KO.

Amoonguss is great for sponging Water- and Ground-type attacks from Pokemon such as Barraskewda, Excadrill, and Landorus-T. In return, Nihilego helps with Ice- and Fire-type Pokemon like Mamoswine, Glastrier, and Blacephalon. Nihilego is weak to Psychic-type moves, which makes Drapion or Skuntank a great addition to your team. Drapion has Toxic Spikes and Knock Off to get rid of items like Leftovers and Eviolite, whereas Skuntank has Defog along with Sucker Punch for revenge killing Psychic- and Ghost-type Pokemon like Alolan Raichu and Dragapult. Toxapex helps Nihilego with Steel-type Pokemon like Scizor and Melmetal along with a number of physical attackers like Aqua Jet Crawdaunt, both Urshifu formes, and Weavile. Galarian Weezing prevents spam of Dragon-type moves and helps with Dark-types that can check Nihilego like Urshifu-S, Choice Scarf Weavile, and Zarude. In return, Nihilego helps Galarian Weezing with Fire-type Pokemon like Heatran, Rotom-H, and Alolan Marowak. Nidoking offers Stealth Rock and helps Nihilego with Steel- and Electric-type Pokemon like Ferrothorn, Corviknight, and Tapu Koko. It also appreciates Nihilego's ability to deal with Ice-type Pokemon like Alolan Ninetales and Cloyster.

Poison
--------
Choice Specs allows Nihilego to punch through Fire- and Flying-type Pokemon like Heatran, Celesteela, and Landorus-T with Power Gem or Thunderbolt. Thunder is an option on Nihilego's Meteor Beam set to do more damage to bulky Water- and Flying-types like Slowbro, Toxapex, and Celesteela while performing very well against rain teams.

Checks and Counters
===================

Poison
--------
**Specially Defensive Walls:** Pokemon with high special bulk like Aegislash and Blissey can swap into Nihilego's attacks with ease. Blissey can then give teammates like Diggersby and Snorlax free switches with Teleport.

**Paralysis:** Paralyzing Nihilego eliminates its ability to revenge kill a lot of Pokemon it's ideally supposed to threaten. Slower Pokemon like Clefable, Togekiss, and Tyranitar will attempt using Thunder Wave on it to prevent it from sweeping.

**Physical Attacks:** Nihilego is weak to physical attacks in any form due to its poor bulk.

**Priority Users**: Steel-types like Scizor and Metagross with Bullet Punch, Water-types like Crawdaunt and Azumarill with Aqua Jet, and Sucker Punch users like Urshifu-S and Bisharp can revenge kill Nihilego.

**Super Effective Attacks**: Steel-types like Excadrill, specially defensive Heatran, Aegislash, Celesteela, and Ferrothorn have no problem switching into Nihilego's attacks, making Nidoking a required partner to deal with them. Water-types like Keldeo, Dracovish, and Crawdaunt KO Nihilego with their respective STAB moves. Ground-types like Gastrodon and Hippowdon are 2HKOed by Grass Knot but can KO Nihilego with Earthquake in return.

[OVERVIEW]

Poison
========
* High special attack, average speed, Rock-STAB, and a wide range of coverage moves make Nihilego the best revenge killer and Meteor Beam sweeper Poison could have, while notably having Beast Boost to increase its SpA or Spe for every KO. [Also mention notable matchups which get improved for Poison due to having Nihilego on the team like Flying and Fire]
* Nihilego's distinctive speed tier makes it more challenging to kill as it naturally outpaces Pokemon like Volcarona, Hydreigon, and Garchomp. Its part Rock-typing comforts Poison a lot as it threatens Fire-type Pokemon like Volcarona, Victini, and Alolan Marowak with Power Gem and Meteor Beam.
* The most common set Nihilego runs is Choice Scarf, acting as a revenge killer, rocker, and sweeper, thanks to the Speed boost from its Choice Scarf to outpace Pokemon like Dragapult and Spectrier. [Add that it compresses role for Poison-type team and hence is usable splashable on teams]
* Nihilego's Meteor Beam set allows it to boosts its SpA by one stage after a single use while boosting its Speed for every KO it gets instead of SpA. [The Speed increase from Beast boost is because the set is tailored made for that, the reader won't know this until it scrolls down so you specify this]
* Nihilego's coverage moves: Thunderbolt, Grass Knot, and Dazzling Gleam; allow it to check Pokemon like Corviknight, Seismitoed, and Dragapult.
* Although Nihilego is an amazing revenge killer with both of its sets, it’s enfeebled to Water-, Steel-, and Ground-type attacks and priority users like Urshifu, Crawdaunt, and Scizor.
* Add non-existent physical bulk due to which it takes a chunk of its health even from defensive Pokemon running move like knock off
* Add stacking on Ground-weakness for Poison-type teams.

[SET]
name: Choice Scarf (Poison)
move 1: Power Gem
move 2: Thunderbolt
move 3: Dazzling Gleam
move 4: Grass Knot / Stealth Rock
item: Choice Scarf
ability: Beast Boost
nature: Timid
evs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Paragraph 1:
* Nihilego is a great speed control option because it utilizes Choice Scarf to outpace Pokemon like Volcarona, Tornadus, and Dragapult, while boosting its SpA for every Pokemon it kills thanks its ability, Beast Boost. [You can add the beast boost later when you explain evs] [add Dragonite as an example of what power gem hits]
* Nihilego's part Rock-typing gives Poison an edge against Fire-, Ice-, and Flying-types thanks to Power Gem. Power Gem is Nihilego's only STAB move on this set which helps with Pokemon like Victini, Volcarona, Galarian Darmanitan, and Tornadus-T. [You have been repeating the same examples of Pokemon so change it up a little as it gets repetitive ]
* Thunderbolt allows Nihilego to hit Flying-type Pokemon like Celesteela or Corviknight effectively, whereas Power Gem doesn't; thunderbolt also allows for Nihilego to hit Water-type Pokemon like Mantine and Slowbro.
* Dazzling Gleam is for Dragon-type Pokemon like Dragapult, Dracovish, and Garchomp, while notably KOing Hydreigon, because Fairy-type attacks are 4x effective on it. [Dex info unneeded]
* Grass Knot damages Water- and Ground-types while 2HKOing Gastrodon and Hippowdon and OHKOing Swampert and Seismitoad after chip.
* Give a usage tip or two
* Stealth Rock is an option over Grass Knot, but is expendable due to most Fire-, Flying-, and Bug-type Pokemon running Heavy-Duty Boots.
* The listed EVs maximize Nihilego's Special Attack and Speed, and with Choice Scarf, it outpaces the likes of Volcarona after a Quiver Dance, Dragapult, Choice Scarf Dracovish, and Zeraora.

Paragraph 2:
* Nihilego struggles with Ground-type Pokemon like Excadrill, Gastrodon, and Landorus-T, and priority users like Azumarill and Urshifu-R, but having Amoonguss as a teammate helps.
* Amoonguss is Poison's best switch-in to Mold Breaker Excadrill and spreads status like sleep from Spore, paralysis from Stun Spore, and poison from Sludge Bomb, which is beneficial for the entire team.
* It is, however, threatened by Fire-types like Volcarona, Blacephaleon, and Victini, and Nihilego with Choice Scarf can revenge kill said threats. Toxapex helps Nihilego with sponging Steel-type attacks like Iron Head or Bullet Punch, while also forming a Regenerator core with Amoonguss.
* In return, Nihilego helps revenge kill threats with Psychic coverage like Zen Headbutt Cinderace and Psychic Volcarona while makes use of Toxapex's useful roles in the process like getting rid of items such as Leftovers or Eviolite with Knock Off, spreading status with Scald, Toxic Spikes, and Toxic, and preventing Pokemon like Dragapult and Tapu Bulu from setting up with Haze.
* Galarian Weezing helps with getting rid of entry hazards with Defog and helping Nihilego with Dragon-type Pokemon like Dragapult and Garchomp with Strange Steam. [Also add that it checks Urshifu-S as boosted Shifu can take out nihi with sucker punch]
* Nihilego helps with Fire-type Pokemon Galarian Weezing cannot touch like Incineroar or Alolan Marowak, along with having Dazzling Gleam on its own to better a Dragon matchup.
* Skuntank and Drapion offers the team Psychic immunity thanks to their Dark-typing, whereas Skuntank has Sucker Punch to revenge kill Alolan Raichu and Dragapult and Drapion has utilities like Knock Off and Toxic Spikes. [Mention said Dark-types taking care of Pokemon like Jirachi and Slowking / Galarian Slowking]
* Nidoking helps with Electric- and Steel-type Pokemon like Regieleki, Tapu Koko, Ferrothorn, and Aegislash with Earth Power and Fire Blast, but also has Stealth Rock to do residual damage to opposing Pokemon throughout the duration of the match.
* In return, Nihilego helps with Ice-type Pokemon that threatens Nidoking like Galarian Darmanitan, Weavile, and Kyurem with Power Gem.

[SET COMMENTS]
Paragraph 1:
* Meteor Beam allows Nihilego to raise its Special Attack by one stage in one turn thanks to Power Herb and raises its Speed for every Pokemon it kills along with having the option to not be locked into one move like its Choice Scarf set.
* Meteor Beam is usually a one-time use considering Power Herb only works once; therefore, running Power Gem is ideal for consistency in the rest of the match, as both moves are super-effective against Fire-, Bug-, Ice-, and Flying-type Pokemon like Volcarona, Torkoal, Araquanid, Avalugg, and Zapdos.
* Thunderbolt helps with Water- and Flying-type Pokemon like Mantine, Toxapex, and Celesteela, and pairs nicely with aforementioned moves to improve the Flying matchup.
* Grass Knot is crucial to get rid of bulky Ground-types like Swampert or Seismitoad; otherwise, they absorb Power Gem and Thunderbolt with ease.
* Sacrificing 72 EVs in SpA and instead putting 80 in HP and the rest in Speed in combination with a Timid nature allows Nihilego to adopt a Speed boosting set, which outpaces the likes of Choice Scarf Landorus-T and Tornadus-T after a single speed boost.

Paragraph 2:
* Amoonguss is a great for sponging Water- and Ground-type attacks from Pokemon such as Barraskewda, Excadrill, and Landorus-T that otherwise make Nihilego look like dog food.
* It is however threatened by Ice- and Fire-type Pokemon like Mamoswine, Glastrier, and Blacephaleon, and Nihilego in return helps with them with Meteor Beam and Power Gem.
* Nihilego is weak to Psychic-type moves, which makes Drapion or Skuntank a great addition to your team thanks to their part Dark-typing. Drapion has Knock Off to get rid of items like Leftovers and Eviolite and access to Toxic Spikes, whereas Skuntank has Defog to get rid of entry hazards along with Sucker Punch for revenge killing Psychic- and Ghost-type Pokemon like Alolan Raichu or Dragapult.
* Toxapex helps Nihilego with Steel-type Pokemon like Scizor and Melmetal along with a number of physical attackers like Aqua Jet Crawdaunt, both Urshifu forms, and Weavile.
* Galarian Weezing prevents the team from being Dragon-move spammed, thanks to its Fairy-typing, and is Poison's best answer to Urshifu-S. [Add Dark-type Pokemon which Gweezing can check for Nihi like Scarf Weavile, Urshifu-S, Zarude]
* In return, Nihilego helps Galarian Weezing with Fire-type Pokemon it cannot properly deal with like Heatran, Rotom-H, and Alolan Marowak.
* Nidoking helps Nihilego with Steel- and Electric-type Pokemon like Ferrothorn, Corviknight, and Tapu Koko with Fire Blast and Earth Power, along with having Stealth Rocks to provide chip damage throughout the match.
* Nidoking appreciates Nihilego's ability to deal with Ice-type Pokemon like Alolan Ninetales and Cloyster with its Rock-type attacks.

Nihilego's coverage moves in Thunderbolt, Grass Knot, and Dazzling Gleam; allow it to also check Pokemon like Corviknight, Seismitoad, and Dragapult. Although Nihilego is an amazing revenge killer with both of its sets, it’s enfeebled vulnerable to Water-, Steel-, and Ground-type attacks and priority users like both Urshifu formes, Crawdaunt, and Scizor. [SET COMMENTS]
Nihilego is a great speed control option because it utilizes Choice Scarf to outpace Choice Scarf Nihilego usefully outpaces Pokemon like Dragonite, Dragapult, +1 Volcarona, Choice Scarf Dracovish, Zeraora, and Tornadus. Nihilego's part Rock-typing gives Poison an edge against Fire-, Ice-, and Flying-types thanks to Power Gem. (covered in overview) Power Gem is Nihilego's only STAB move on this set which helps with Pokemon like Galarian Darmanitan, Victini, and Zapdos. Thunderbolt allows Nihilego to hit Flying-type Pokemon like Celesteela or Corviknight effectively, whereas Power Gem doesn't; thunderbolt also allows for Nihilego to hit Water-type Pokemon like Mantine and Slowbro effectively hits Water-types like Mantine and Slowbro as well as Flying-types neutral to Power Gem like Celesteela and Corviknight. Dazzling Gleam is for Dragon-type Pokemon like Dragapult, Dracovish, and Garchomp, while notably OHKOing Hydreigon. Grass Knot damages Water- and Ground-types while specifically 2HKOing Gastrodon and Hippowdon and OHKOing Swampert and Seismitoad after chip damage. Stealth Rock is an option over Grass Knot, but is expendable due to most Fire-, Flying-, and Bug-type Pokemon running Heavy-Duty Boots. The listed EVs maximize Nihilego's Special Attack and Speed, and with Choice Scarf, it outpaces the likes of Volcarona after a Quiver Dance, Dragapult, Choice Scarf Dracovish, and Zeraora.

Utilize Nihilego's high Special Defense to switch into attacks from Pokemon like Alolan Ninetales, Volcarona, Toxapex, and Zapdos. Because Nihilego is a revenge killer, it does not appreciate being paralyzed due to it significantly crippling its Speed. It is, (comma) however, threatened by Fire-types like Volcarona, Blacephaleon, and Victini, and Nihilego with Choice Scarf can revenge kill said threats which Choice Scarf Nihilego can revenge kill. Toxapex helps Nihilego with by sponging Steel-type attacks like Iron Head or and Bullet Punch, (comma) while also forming a Regenerator core with Amoonguss. In return, Nihilego helps revenge kills threats with Psychic-type coverage like Zen Headbutt Cinderace and Psychic Volcarona while makes use of Toxapex's useful roles in the process like benefitting from Toxapex getting rid of items such as Leftovers or and Eviolite with Knock Off, spreading status with Scald, Toxic Spikes, and Toxic, and preventing Pokemon like Dragapult and Tapu Bulu from setting up with Haze. Galarian Weezing helps with getting rid of removes entry hazards with Defog and helping helps Nihilego with Dark- and Dragon-type Pokemon like Dragapult, Garchomp, and Urshifu-S. (per) In return, with Strange Steam while in return, Nihilego helps it with Fire-types like Volcarona and Rotom-H, (comma) along with having Dazzling Gleam on its own to better a Dragon matchup itself to further improve Dragon matchups. Skuntank and Drapion offer the team Psychic immunity; (semi) thanks to their Dark-typing, whereas Skuntank has Sucker Punch to revenge kill Alolan Raichu and Dragapult, (comma) while and Drapion has utilities utility moves like Knock Off and Toxic Spikes. They also help with Psychic-types like Galarian Slowking, Latias, and Victini with their STAB attacks. Nidoking offers Stealth Rock and helps with Electric- and Steel-type Pokemon like Regieleki, Tapu Koko, Ferrothorn, and Aegislash with Earth Power and Fire Blast, but also has Stealth Rock to do residual damage to opposing Pokemon throughout the duration of the match. In return, Nihilego helps with Ice-type Pokemon that threaten Nidoking like Galarian Darmanitan, Weavile, and Kyurem with Power Gem. (in general, you don't need to specify that a mon beats foes weak to its STAB with its STAB move)

name: Meteor Beam Sweeper (Poison)
move 1: Meteor Beam
move 2: Power Gem
move 3: Thunderbolt
move 4: Grass Knot
item: Power Herb
ability: Beast Boost
nature: Timid
evs: 80 HP / 176 SpA / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Meteor Beam allows Nihilego to raise its Special Attack by one stage and attack in one turn thanks to Power Herb and raises its Speed for every Pokemon it kills along with having the option to not be locked into one move like its Choice Scarf set. Power Herb Meteor Beam deals major damage and raises Nihilego's Special Attack in one turn, which works well with Beast Boost raising Speed after every KO. Meteor Beam is usually a one-time use move considering Power Herb, (comma) so only works once; therefore, running Power Gem is ideal for consistency in the rest of the match, as both moves are super-effective against Fire-, Bug-, Ice-, and Flying-type Pokemon like Volcarona, Torkoal, Araquanid, Avalugg, and Zapdos. Thunderbolt helps with Water- and Flying-type Pokemon like Mantine, Toxapex, and Celesteela, and pairs nicely with aforementioned moves to improve the further improving Nihilego's Flying matchup. Grass Knot is crucial to get rid of for removing bulky Ground-types like Swampert or and Seismitoad; otherwise, they absorb Power Gem and Thunderbolt with ease. Sacrificing 72 EVs in SpA and instead putting 80 in HP and the rest in Speed in combination with a Timid nature allows Nihilego to adopt a Speed boosting set, which outpaces the likes of Choice Scarf Landorus-T and Tornadus-T after a single speed boost. The given EV spread causes Beast Boost to raise Speed, which makes Nihilego faster than the likes of Choice Scarf Landorus-T and Tornadus-T after a KO.

Amoonguss is a great for sponging Water- and Ground-type attacks from Pokemon such as Barraskewda, Excadrill, and Landorus-T that otherwise make Nihilego look like dog food. It is however threatened by Ice- and Fire-type Pokemon like Mamoswine, Glastrier, and Blacephaleon, and Nihilego in return helps with them with Meteor Beam and Power Gem. In reutrn, Nihilego helps with Ice- and Fire-type Pokemon like Mamoswine, Glastrier, and Blacephalon. Nihilego is weak to Psychic-type moves, which makes Drapion or Skuntank a great addition to your team thanks to their part Dark-typing. Drapion has Toxic Spikes and Knock Off to get rid of items like Leftovers and Eviolite and access to Toxic Spikes, whereas Skuntank has Defog to get rid of entry hazards along with Sucker Punch for revenge killing Psychic- and Ghost-type Pokemon like Tapu Lele (doesn't lele block it with terrain?) and Dragapult. Toxapex helps Nihilego with Steel-type Pokemon like Scizor and Melmetal along with a number of physical attackers like Aqua Jet Crawdaunt, both Urshifu formes, and Weavile. Galarian Weezing prevents the team from being Dragon-move spammed, thanks to its Fairy-typing, it spam of Dragon-type moves and helps with Dark-types that can check Nihilego like Urshifu-S, Choice Scarf Weavile, and Zarude. In return, Nihilego helps Galarian Weezing with Fire-type Pokemon it cannot properly deal with like Heatran, Rotom-H, and Alolan Marowak. Nidoking offers Stealth Rock and helps Nihilego with Steel- and Electric-type Pokemon like Ferrothorn, Corviknight, and Tapu Koko with Fire Blast and Earth Power, along with having Stealth Rocks to provide chip damage throughout the match. It also appreciates Nihilego's ability to deal with Ice-type Pokemon like Alolan Ninetales and Cloyster with its Rock-type attacks.

**Specially Defensive Walls:** Pokemon with high special bulk like Aegislash and Blissey can swap into Nihilego's attacks with ease. Blissey can Teleport out to allow then give teammates like Diggersby and Snorlax to swap in free switches with Teleport.

**Paralysis:** Paralyzing Nihilego cripples eliminates its ability to revenge kill a lot of Pokemon it’s ideally supposed to threaten, mainly due to the significant Speed drop. (what things commonly threaten to paralyze it?)

**Physical Attacks:** Nihilego is weak to physical attacks in any form due to its poor bulk.

**Priority-users**: Steel-types like Scizor and Metagross with Bullet Punch, Water-types like Crawdaunt or and Azumarill with Aqua Jet, and Sucker Punch users like Urshifu-S and Bisharp can revenge kill Nihilego.

**Super Effective Attacks**: Steel-types like Excadrill, specially defensive Heatran, Aegislash, and Celesteela, and Ferrothorn has no problem switching into Nihilego's attacks, (comma) making Nidoking a required partner to deal with them, thanks to Fire Blast and Earth Power. Water-types like Keldeo, Dracovish, and Crawdaunt KO Nihilego with their respective STAB moves. Ground-types like Gastrodon and Hippowdon are 2HKOed by Grass Knot and but can KO Nihilego with Earthquake in return.
