Moves
========

Nihilego is a fantastic user of Stealth Rock, which further justifies its usefulness on stall teams by providing a lot of utility and role compression. Protect allows Nihilego to scout for opposing moves such as Choice-locked moves from Pokemon like Hydreigon and Pursuit from Scizor and Krookodile to act accordingly, which is vital because it lacks the Defense to survive being trapped more than once. Protect also provides Nihilego with a way to gain an extra turn of recovery from Black Sludge to help improve its longevity. Pain Split is an option to provide Nihilego with a more efficient way to recover lost health than from the passive recovery of Black Sludge that is also a useful tool to punish common switch-ins like Empoleon, Mega Steelix, and Mega Aggron, which lack reliable recovery. Pain Split also drastically improves Nihilego's matchup against opposing stall teams, as it can recover a lot of health against foes like Blissey and Alomomola and cripple them in the process. Power Gem allows Nihilego to hit stallbreakers such as Kyurem, Chandelure, and Gengar to potentially remove or severely weaken them. Power Gem also does a decent amount of damage to Scizor, which would otherwise look to switch in freely, on the switch. Thunderbolt can be used over Power Gem to give Nihilego the coverage to punish bulky Water-types like Empoleon and Tentacruel more than Power Gem would, as they are common entry hazard removers that may look to remove Nihilego's hazards or punish it with their Water-type STAB moves. Thunderbolt also hits almost every Steel-type such as Cobalion, Klefki, and Doublade harder than Power Gem can, preventing them from freely pivoting in on Nihilego.

Set Details
========

Black Sludge is vital for Nihilego to have a passive form of recovery to increase its longevity. It works exceptionally well in conjunction with Protect to scout for moves such as Pursuit while providing it with a free turn to recover some lost health.

Usage Tips
========

Nihilego should be used to give stall teams a switch-in to Flying-type stallbreakers like Togekiss and Work Up + Refresh Mega Pidgeot by virtue of its typing, as well as absorbing Toxic Spikes, which can be a huge nuisance for stall teams. Nihilego's good natural Special Defense allows it to pivot into special threats like Gengar, Mega Houndoom, and Chandelure, which Blissey, the usual dedicated special wall on stall teams, struggles to check. Nihilego should capitalize on its ability to pivot into these threats for a free opportunity to set up Stealth Rock; however, it should only aim to do so against unboosted targets, as it doesn't appreciate taking a strong hit, especially if they are common Z-Move users. Nihilego should take advantage of its Speed tier to force out stallbreakers that most stall teams have issues pressuring effectively outside of status, such as Kyurem, Celebi, and Mega Altaria, with its STAB combination. Protect should be used to scout what common Choice item users like Scizor and Krookodile lock themselves into to switch safely or attack them. This is important due to them both being very common Pursuit users, which are a huge detriment to Nihilego's ability to stay healthy enough to check the threats it needs to. Protect can also be used liberally to gain a free turn of Black Sludge recovery to be healthy enough to handle Pokemon like Gengar and Togekiss; however, Nihilego should be careful not to provide Pokemon like Terrakion and Scizor too many free turns to set up in doing so. If utilizing Pain Split, Nihilego can be played more aggressively when it comes to switching into the threats it can handle, as it can recover off most of its lost health at a later point. Nihilego must avoid losing its Black Sludge via Knock Off, as this is detrimental to its recovery, even if it has Pain Split. Nihilego must fear strong physical attackers like Infernape, Bisharp, and Krookodile, as they can punish Nihilego due to its pitiful Defense rendering it unable to take a hit reliably, and the latter two are also common Knock Off users. Nihilego should also not stay in on common priority users like Scizor and the aforementioned Bisharp, which can easily revenge kill it.

Team Options
========

This Nihilego set should primarily be used on stall teams by virtue of its combination of defensive and offensive utility against common stallbreakers while being able to offer role compression with Stealth Rock. Blissey is the usual staple on stall teams and works fantastically in tandem with Nihilego, as it is able to cure Nihilego of any status ailments with Heal Bell and provide Wish support. Blissey can also handle Psychic-types like Latias and check offensive Water-types like Volcanion and Primarina, which Nihilego cannot pivot into nor reliably revenge kill without sufficient chip damage on them. In return, Nihilego provides Blissey with an answer to special threats like Gengar and Chandelure. Alomomola is another great partner due to its ability to check premier physical threats like Scizor and Mega Aerodactyl for Nihilego thanks to its ability Regenerator while also being able to heal Nihilego with Wish support. Nihilego can give a lot of Pokemon opportunities to set up by using Protect to scout or regain health, so Unaware users like Quagsire and Pyukumuku make fantastic partners to better switch into setup Pokemon like Bisharp, Terrakion, and Cobalion. In return, Nihilego is able to switch into and absorb Toxic Spikes for them, which helps prevent their susceptibility of being worn down by status. Mega Altaria is a fantastic partner, as it can provide entry hazard removal in the form of Defog and Heal Bell support to cure Nihilego of status conditions and act as a strong Knock Off sponge to prevent Nihilego from getting crippled and easily worn down. Mega Altaria also switches into many of the tier's Fighting-types like Infernape and Heracross, as well as potentially luring in and KOing Scizor with Flamethrower for Nihilego. Gligar works exceptionally well with Nihilego, as it can check Fighting- and Steel-types like Terrakion, Cobalion, and Mega Aggron, which Nihilego is unable to punish effectively without Thunderbolt. Gligar is also able to remove hazards for Nihilego and is immune to Toxic Spikes, which takes pressure off Nihilego risking switching in to absorb them. Steel-types like defensive Scizor, Doublade, and Mega Aggron that have issues handling threats like Moltres and Chandelure appreciate Nihilego's ability to check and remove them. In return, these Steel-types can handle Pokemon like Latias and Mega Aerodactyl that threaten Nihilego, and Doublade can also Pursuit trap said threats.

Moves
========

  • Stealth Rock is important to Nihilego's kit as it can force out a lot of the stallbreakers it checks like Togekiss (give more examples here because you just said it forces a lot of Pokemon out) and proceed to set them up.
  • Protect allows Nihilego to scout for opposing moves such as what Choice Scarf Krookodile and Hydreigon (you can also mention Scizor here since this is a big one) lock themselves into, to act accordingly. It also net extra turns of recovery from Black Sludge.
  • Pain Split helps give Nihilego a more substantial way to recover health than the passive recovery of Black Sludge and it can punish common switch-ins like Empoleon and Mega Aggron (mention Blissey here, too. You can also say it helps improve the matchup against opposing stall teams) by cutting down their health.
  • Power Gem is Nihilegos best Rock-STAB move which allows it to help remove Stallbreakers like Kyurem, Chandelure and chunk Scizor on the switch-in.
  • Thunderbolt can be used over Power Gem to give Nihilego the coverage to punish bulky water types like Empoleon and Tentacruel more, which are also capable of removing hazards against Nihilego and punishing it with their Water-STAB. It also hits almost every Steel-type like Cobalion, Klefki and Doublade neutrally.
Set Details
========

  • Black Sludge is vital for Nihilego to have a passive form of recovery to increase its longevity. It works exceptionally well with Protect to allow it to scout for moves while giving it extra turns to recover lost health.
  • Beast Boost raises your Special Attack by one stage each time it gets a KO on something, which can give the Stall teams this set is commonly found on some form of offensive presence. (I don't think that Beast Boost is worth mentioning)
  • Mention max HP here... explain the pros and cons of it, of course.
Usage Tips
========

  • Nihilego should be used to help give Stall teams a switch into Flying-type Stallbreakers like Togekiss and Work Up + Refresh Mega Pidgeot virtue of its typing as well as being able to absorb Toxic Spikes which can be a huge nuisance for Stall teams.
  • Thanks to its good natural Special Defense it can also pivot into special threats like Gengar, Mega Houndoom, and Chandelure and proceed to beat them. (you can say "special attackers that Blissey struggles against" because Blissey is usually the dedicated special wall on stall. I also don't know how good of an example Mega Houndoom is here because stall is usually better off beating Mega Houndoom with Blissey.)
  • Nihilego naturally forces these Pokemon out as well as other Stallbreakers such as Kyurem, Celebi, and +1 Mega Altaria thanks to it being faster and pressuring them with its STAB coverage. (while Nihilego does threaten all of these out, I dislike the examples. I would never click Stealth Rock if I get a free turn versus Kyurem, Celebi, and Mega Altaria, since they can all OHKO Nihilego in one way or another.)
  • These situations should be capatilized on by using it as an opportunity to set up Stealth Rock. (make sure you state that Nihilego can only afford to set up Stealth Rock if the opponent is unboosted and there'll be no real loss if the opponent stays in to attack Nihilego anyway for some reason.)
  • If Protect is being run, it is important to scout what moves Choice item Pokemon like Scizor and Krookodile lock themselves into. This allows you to make the appropiate follow up, while letting Nihilego passively restore health with Black Sludge.
  • Even though Nihi(lego) is able to scout it is extremely frail on the Defense side meaning it can't reliably take a physical hit. Nihilego is slower than a lot of offensive threats like Mega Aerodactyl and the aforementioned Scarf Krookodile and can take a lot of damage from Pursuit in the process.
  • Nihilego also has to fear priority from users like Scizor and Bisharp which can pick it off, they can also utilize Pursuit to trap and remove or heavily damage Nihilego.
  • Offensive Fighting-types like Cobalion and Terrakion are able to take advantage of Nihilegos lack of coverage to pressure them without Thunderbolt and can give them free opportunities to set up. (is this line really worth mentioning? Stall with have an unaware wall anyway)
  • If running Pain Split Nihilego can be played a lot more aggressively when it comes to switching into hits like Scald from Tentacruel or Alomomola especially in conjunction with Thunderbolt as it can proceed to punish them with super-effective coverage and recover a lot of the damage off. (why would you switch Nihilego in on a Tentacruel? I guess Nihilego can be played aggressively if you really want hazards up for a threat but it's usually bad to do that, especially because stall should be played patiently, mostly)
  • However it still has to be wary of getting Scald burned or having its Black Sludge removed by Knock Off, as Pain Split can be played around which could overall limit its recovery. (avoiding Knock Off is a good idea but remove the Scald part because of my previous comment)
Team Options
========

  • This Nihilego sets fits on Stall teams thanks to its combination of defensive and offensive utility against common Stallbreakers, while being able to compress Stealth Rock into the role.
  • Mention Blissey here... Blissey is able to cure Nihilego of status ailments, potentially heal it up with Wish, counter Psychic types like Latias and offensive Water-types like Volcanion and Primarina, and etc.
  • Quagsire and Alomomola are common partners for Nihilego thanks to their ability to check physical threats, Alomomola is able to consistantly pivot into Pokemon like Scizor and Mega Aerodactyl for Nihilego thanks to its ability Regenerator (and heal Nihilego up with Wish). Nihilego can give a lot of Pokemon opportunities the chance to set up by using Protect to scout, so the former helps handle threats like Swords Dance Bisharp and Swords Dance Cobalion. In return both appreciate Nihilegos ability to absorb Toxic Spikes to stop them getting worn down. (mention Pyukumuku too!)
  • Mega Altaria provides a solid answer to some Pursuit trappers like Krookodile and Mega Aerodactyl and acts as a Knock Off absorber to improve Nihilegos longevity, especially if it lacks Pain Split. It can also handle Fighting-types like Infernape and potentially lure in Scizor with Flamethrower for Nihilego.
  • Hazard removers helps improve Nihilegos longevity. Gligar and the aformentioned Mega Altaria are good examples of Defog users. Gligar works exceptionally well in tandem with Nihilego as it is able to check the Fighting-types like Terrakion and Cobalion. Gligar handles and Defogs on a lot of the Steel-types like Mega Aggron and Doublade which Nihilego invites in and can't pressure. Gligar is also immune to and can remove Toxic Spikes which takes pressure of Nihilego having to find an opportunity to come in to absorb them.
  • Steel-types like defencive Scizor and Mega Aggron (I also love Doublade as an example here because it gets Pursuit which is otherwise awkward to fit on Nihilego stall) which have issues handling Pokemon like Fightinium Z Togekiss, Moltres, and Chandelure appreciate Nihilegos ability to check and remove them. Mega Aggron also appreciates the free slot being opened up to run another coverage option over Stealth Rock. In return they can handle Pokemon like Latias and Mega Aerodactyl which take advantage of Nihilego.
  • B L I S S E Y (-_-)

1/3 after all of the above is implemented, good job.

Moves
========

  • Stealth Rock is important to Nihilego's kit as it can force out a lot of the stallbreakers it checks like Togekiss, Chandelure and Mega Pidgeot and proceed to set them up. (This is weirdly specific to forcing out stallbreakers, just mention that it's a reliable rocker and having rocks further adds to it's useful role compression and utility on stall teams).
  • Protect allows Nihilego to scout for opposing moves such as what Choice-item Krookodile, Hydreigon, and Scizor lock themselves into and act accordingly. It also net extra turns of recovery from Black Sludge to improve its longevity. (Mention scouting for Pursuit specifically in some way, b/c that's a big deal with it's -10 def stat).
  • Pain Split helps give Nihilego a more efficient way to recover health, than the passive recovery of Black Sludge and it can punish common switch-ins like Empoleon, Mega Aggron, and Blissey by cutting down their health. The ability to cripple these walls is very useful for improving the matchup against opposing Stall and Balance teams.
  • Power Gem is Nihilegos best Rock-STAB move which allows it to help remove Stallbreakers like Kyurem, Chandelure and chunk Scizor on the switch-in. (rephrase this, specifically the word "remove" since it doesn't OHKO Kyurem OR Scizor. Just use "hit" or something, also mention Gengar since pgem is the best option for hitting Geng which is a huge threat to stall !).
(and harder than Power Gem would ofc).
  • (Mention tspikes as a substitute for rocks, obviously dont slash it, it's super niche but it's worth a mention for sure imo. Pif has done this on teams that already have rocks and heal bell but still like nihi's utility. Obviously make sure you note that rocks are preferred the vast majority of the time and tspikes are inconsistent but can provide dope utility for stall regardless, improving the matchup vs fatter teams!).
Set Details
========

  • Black Sludge is vital for Nihilego to have a passive form of recovery to increase its longevity. It works exceptionally well with Protect to allow it to scout for moves while giving it extra turns to recover lost health.
  • Variants with maximum HP investment can be used to improve Nihilegos ability to absorb hits from threats like Gengar, Togekiss and mono-STAB Mega Altaria. This comes at the cost of not being able to revenge threats like Celebi as easily with the lack of Special Attack investment. (Ngl idt this is necessary to mention, this can be discussed further so maybe hold off on implementing it or implement it and let the final check be the decider, I can't talk to misa bout it now cause she's busy but im p sure nobody's ever used max hp nihi on stall, pif hasn't afaik, I haven't, idk if it's worth a mention. Also one thing is that 4 Def actually dodges OHKO from maero stedge but thats prolly also not worth mentioning LOL).

  • (Okay so the points I marked with 1, 2, and 3, delete these, not b/c they're wrong but we're gonna like rewrite/compress them ig. Have one point about how to use protect (scouting moves/stalling for sludge) and mention pursuit specifically in that point. THEN have a point about being wary of physical attackers in general, and mention prio users in that point).

  • Quagsire, Pyukumuku, and Alomomola are common partners for Nihilego thanks to their ability to check physical threats, Alomomola is able to consistantly pivot into Pokemon like Scizor and Mega Aerodactyl for Nihilego thanks to its ability Regenerator as well as heal Nihilego with Wish support. It can also handle Fighting-types like Infernape and potentially lure in Scizor with Flamethrower for Nihilego. (Remove maero here as it's def not a "solid" maero answer, espec not w/ rocks up. Stedge is a 3HKO with rocks up but that's assuming it's mega evolved and there's no previous chip which would be a dumb assumption b/c using malt as a maero answer is already overworking it when you have bulky water).
  • Hazard removers helps improve Nihilegos longevity. Gligar and the aformentioned Mega Altaria are good examples of Defog users. Gligar works exceptionally well in tandem with Nihilego as it is able to check the Fighting-types like Terrakion and Cobalion. In return they can handle Pokemon like Latias and Mega Aerodactyl which take advantage of Nihilego, Doublade being able to run Pursuit to trap said threats.

Implemented everything and have written this up, so ready for third QC. For whoever third QCs this I have left the maximum HP Nihilego statement still in it due to Misa wanting it and Viv suggesting to remove it, so I'll let you decide whether to keep it or not. :blobthumbsup:

Set/Moves
- I would move Sludge Wave to the second slot of the set and move the other slots down one. Generally it's encourage that slots with slashes come at the end of the set, even though it's a bit nitpicky. Since there's no mention of Sludge Wave in the moves section you don't need to worry about adjusting where any sentences are.
- "Protect allows Nihilego to scout for opposing moves especially from Choice locked foes such as Hydreigon, Krookodile, and Scizor to act accordingly. This being vital to scout for Pursuit from Mega Aerodactyl and the aforementioned Scizor and Krookodile as it lacks the Defense to survive being trapped more than once." - I think that you should try tying these sentences together to be a bit more concise. Saying something to the effect of 'such as choice locked moves from Scizor and Pursuit from [insert mons here]' after 'opposing moves' would accomplish this well.
- I think your info on Pain Split could also be more concise. What you have is good but it doesn't need to be explained in three sentences. Your first two sentences should probably be easiest and best for the flow of the analysis to put together somehow.

Set Details
- QC reached the general consensus that full HP isn't a great option on Nihilego, so I'd remove it.

Usage Tips
- I'd include when talking about Protect that Nihilego should be wary of giving potential sweepers like Terrakion and Scizor free turns of setup through using it.

Team Options
- Your content here is good but I also think you should try condensing some of your information before this goes to GP. I'd work on condensing the Gligar portion particularly to less sentences, and proofreading the section in general to see if there's anything you think you can make more concise. Other than being a little wordy this looks great!

QC 3/3, good work :)

The bulk my changes were correcting a few errors, so I'm giving you some things that are useful to know:
  • When "as" and "since" are being used to mean "because", a comma must precede them (e.g. "Nihilego must avoid losing its Black Sludge via Knock Off,(AC) as this is detrimental to its recovery, even if it has Pain Split.").
  • A comma must precede "which" (e.g. "Nihilego is a fantastic user of Stealth Rock,(AC) which further justifies its usefulness on stall teams by providing a lot of utility and role compression.") if the word is being used as such.
  • Playstyles ("stall", "balance", "hyper offense", etc.) and Pokemon archetypes ("wallbreaker", "sweeper", "stallbreaker", etc.) are all lowercase.

Moves
========

Nihilego is a fantastic user of Stealth Rock,(AC) which further justifies its usefulness on stall teams by providing a lot of utility and role compression. Protect allows Nihilego to scout for opposing moves such as Choice-(AH)locked moves from Pokemon like Hydreigon and Pursuit from Scizor and Krookodile to act accordingly, which is vital as because it lacks the Defense to survive being trapped more than once. Protect also provides Nihilego with a way to gain an extra turn of recovery from Black Sludge to help improve its longevity. Pain Split is an option to provide Nihilego with a more efficient way to recover lost health than from the passive recovery of Black Sludge that is also a useful tool to punish common switch-(AH)ins like Empoleon, Mega Steelix, and Mega Aggron,(AC) which lack reliable recovery. Pain Split also drastically improves its Nihilego's matchup against opposing stall teams,(AC) as it can recover a lot of health against foes like Blissey and Alomomola and cripple them in the process. Power Gem is Nihilegos best Rock-type STAB coverage which allows it Nihilego to hit stallbreakers such as Kyurem, Chandelure, and Gengar to potentially remove or severely weaken them. Power Gem also does a decent amount of damage to Scizor,(AC) on the switch which would otherwise look to switch in freely,(AC) on the switch. Thunderbolt can be used over Power Gem to give Nihilego the coverage to punish bulky Water-types like Empoleon and Tentacruel more than Power Gem would, these being they are common entry hazard removers that may look to remove Nihilegos hazards or punish it with their Water STAB moves. Thunderbolt also hits almost every Steel-type neutrally such as Cobalion, Klefki, and Doublade harder than Power Gem can, preventing them from freely pivoting in on Nihilego.

Black Sludge is vital for Nihilego to have a passive form of recovery to increase its longevity. It works exceptionally well in conjunction with Protect to scout for moves such as Pursuit while providing it with a free turn to recover some lost health.

Usage Tips

Nihilego should be used to give stall teams a switch into switch-in to Flying-type stallbreakers like Togekiss and Work Up + Refresh Mega Pidgeot by virtue of its typing,(AC) as well as absorbing Toxic Spikes,(AC) which can be a huge nuisance for stall teams. Nihilegos Nihilego's good natural Special Defense allows it to pivot into special threats like Gengar, Mega Houndoom, and Chandelure,(AC) which Blissey,(AC) the usual dedicated special wall on stall teams,(AC) struggles to check,(RC) who is usually the dedicated special wall on Stall teams. Nihilego should capitalize on its ability to pivot into these threats for a free opportunity to set up Stealth Rock,(RC);(SC) however, it should only aim to do so against unboosted targets,(AC) as it doesn't appreciate taking the a strong hit, especially if they are common Z-(AH)Move users. Nihilego should take advantage of its Speed tier to force out stallbreakers that most stall teams have issues pressuring effectively outside of status,(AC) such as Kyurem, Celebi, and Mega Altaria,(AC) with its STAB combination which most Stall teams have issues pressuring effectively outside of status. Protect should be used to scout what common Choice item users like Scizor and Krookodile lock themselves into to switch safely or attack them with Power Gem and Sludge Wave respectively. This being is important due to them both being very common Pursuit users,(AC) which is are a huge detriment to Nihilego's ability to stay healthy enough to check the threats it needs to. Protect can also be used liberally to recover gain a free turn of Black Sludge recovery to be healthy enough to handle Pokemon like Gengar and Togekiss,(RC);(SC) however, Nihilego should be careful not to provide Pokemon like Terrakion and Scizor too many free turns to set up in doing so. If utilizing Pain Split,(AC) on Nihilego it can be played more aggressively when it comes to switching into the threats it can handle, as it can recover off most of its lost health at a later point. Nihilego must fear avoid losing its Black Sludge via Knock Off,(AC) as it can this is detrimental to its recovery, even if it has Pain Split this should be avoided as your opponent can easily play around it. Nihilego must fear strong physical attackers like Infernape, Bisharp, and Krookodile,(AC) as they can punish Nihilego due to its pitiful Defense rendering it unable to take a hit reliably, and the latter two being are also common Knock Off users which can cripple Nihilego also. Nihilego should also not stay in on common priority users like Scizor and the aforementioned Bisharp,(AC) which can easily revenge kill it.

Alomomola is another great partner due to its ability to check premier physical threats like Scizor and Mega Aerodactyl for Nihilego thanks to its ability Regenerator,(RC) while also being able to heal Nihilego with Wish support also. Nihilego can give a lot of Pokemon opportunities to set up by using Protect to scout or regain health, so Unaware users like Quagsire and Pyukumuku make fantastic partners to alleviate the ability to better switch into set up threats setup Pokemon like Bisharp, Terrakion, and Cobalion. In return,(AC) Nihilego is able to switch into and absorb Toxic Spikes for them,(AC) in return for these partners which helps prevent their susceptibility of being worn down by status. Mega Altaria is a fantastic partner,(AC) as it can provide entry hazard removal in the form of Defog or and Heal Bell support to cure Nihilego of status conditions and act as a strong Knock Off sponge to prevent Nihilego from getting crippled and easily worn down. Mega Altaria also switches into many of the tiers tier's Fighting-types like Infernape and Heracross,(AC) as well as potentially lure luring in and KOing Scizor with Flamethrower for Nihilego. Gligar works exceptionally well with Nihilego,(AC) as it is can check Fighting- and Steel-types like Terrakion, Cobalion, and Mega Aggron,(AC) which Nihilego is unable to punish effectively without Thunderbolt. Gligar is also able to remove hazards for Nihilego,(RC) including being and is immune to Toxic Spikes,(AC) which takes pressure off Nihilego risking switching in to absorb them. Steel-types like defensive Scizor, Doublade, and Mega Aggron that have issues handling threats like Moltres and Chandelure appreciate Nihilego's ability to check and remove them. In return,(AC) these Steel-types can handle Pokemon like Latias and Mega Aerodactyl which that threaten Nihilego, and Doublade can also being able to run Pursuit to trap said threats.

Moves
========

Thunderbolt can be used over Power Gem to give Nihilego the coverage to punish bulky Water-types like Empoleon and Tentacruel more than Power Gem would, as they are common entry hazard removers that may look to remove Nihilego's (apostrophe) hazards or punish it with their Water-type STAB moves. Thunderbolt also hits almost every Steel-type such as Cobalion, Klefki, and Doublade harder than Power Gem can, preventing them from freely pivoting in on Nihilego.

Set Details
========

Black Sludge is vital for Nihilego to have a passive form of recovery to increase its longevity. It works exceptionally well in conjunction with Protect to scout for moves such as Pursuit while providing it with a free turn to recover some lost health.

Usage Tips
========

========

Gligar works exceptionally well with Nihilego, as it is can check Fighting- and Steel-types like Terrakion, Cobalion, and Mega Aggron, which Nihilego is unable to punish effectively without Thunderbolt. In return, these Steel-types can handle Pokemon like Latias and Mega Aerodactyl that threaten Nihilego, (AC) and Doublade can also Pursuit trap said threats.
