Welcome to the No More Legends Tournament! This tournament will follow the standard Smogon OU rule-set, except all Legendary and Pseudo-Legendary Pokemon are banned. Here is a list of all non-Uber Legendary Pokemon and the 6 Pseudo-Legendary Pokemon for your convenience.

I got the idea for this tournament after thinking about how many times I have seen the following in the PokemonShowdown! Main chat lobby:
“Wait, (insert legendary Pokemon’s name here) is OU?!?!!??!???”

That got me thinking, "What would it be like if all legendary Pokemon were banned? That'd be really weird."
If that was the OU meta-game, that would probably suck. However, I thought it would be a cool idea for a tournament, so here we are.

This tournament will test your team-building skills in an extremely limited OU environment, with many powerful OU Pokemon such as Latios and Keldeo being banned. To make things even more interesting, the Psuedo-Legendaries are also banned. The pool of Pokemon to choose from has become far shallower.

The standard Smogon OU rule-set is in effect. All Standard Clauses and bans of the OU tier are in effect in addition to the legendary ban-list; You may not use any Pokemon in Ubers or on the additional ban-list
Sleep Clause: If a player has already put an opposing Pokémon to sleep using a sleep inducing move and that Pokémon is still sleeping due to that sleep inducing move, the player cannot put another opposing Pokémon to sleep using a sleep inducing move.
Species Clause: A player cannot have two of the same species of Pokémon on their team, based on the National Pokedex Number. For example, a player cannot have two Koffing on his or her team.
Evasion Clause: Players cannot use Double Team or Minimize in any of their Pokémon's movesets.
OHKO Clause: Players cannot use Horn Drill, Guillotine, Sheer Cold, or Fissure in any of their Pokémon's movesets.
Timer Clause: If a player exhausts the timer, he/she loses.
Moody Clause: A player may not use a Pokémon with the ability Moody.

Treat the Pokemon on the additional ban-list as if they were Uber.

Round 1 will last from the posting of this thread until Sunday, October 20th, at 6:30 pm GMT -4 (an extension was given). You have until then to make your team and organize and play your match with your opponent.

Rounds will be single battle, single elimination

Since smogon tournaments are only first come, first serve for the first 62.5%, you did not get in.

The tournament had more than 64 sign-ups, so the first 40 were accepted and the rest were randomly selected, resulting in 4 people who signed up not getting in (68 signups, 64 person tourney). Sorry you didn't :[
