Congratulations to daniYSB on winning the Virizion cycle with Stallbreaker!

Cycle 27 - Meteor Beam Me Up Scotty
:ss/diancie:

Diancie is such an amazing Pokemon because of its Dragon immunity, access to Stealth Rock, and a wide creative movepool. Nicki Minaj on the other hand released an album called Beam Me up Scotty and although Diancie and Nicki are in two different universes, I see both of them as queens. Submissions for Diancie will end on Saturday, May 29th. Have fun!

Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk

- Stored Power
- Mystical Fire

this diancie set can be run on hyper offensive teams, even tho dual screens got nerfed with the abscence of light clay, but it still can be rather effective proceed a setup with it and its natural enormous bulk lets it live a hit most of the time with 150 in both defensive stats. moonblast is its stab of choice, whereas stored power can easily pick up weakened pokemon after a rock polish + weakness policy boost and mystical fire is for steel-types such as escavalier and bronzong.

invented this set with Skierdude101, the main highlight is the move Skill Swap, which allows you to beat Pokemon that wall themselves such as Vaporeon and Flygon, as well as taking useful abilities such as Stamina from Mudsdale to gain defense boosts from it EQing you, or taking Flame Body from Talonflame so you can Body Press in peace vs it and save your Diamond Storms. Many teams rely on Vaporeon as their Vaporeon answer and this set completely dunks on it and allows you to continue boosting. The speed outpaces Vaporeon by 2 points, which also lets you catch stuff like Dragalge and Copper that run lots of speed. Heal Bell is to ensure you win vs the Pokemon I mentioned previously even if they're packing Toxic.

While unexpected, specs diancie can be a dangerous wallbreaker bypassing mindless common switch-in like vaporeon ,sylveon or non-heatproof bronzong after rocks and also a good offensive check to sub bulk up braviary, salazzle or choice locked dragalge thanks to good defensives stats. On more offensive teams, psyshock could be used to immediately take out dragalge.

Funny to use on offense, hates Vaporeon like every other pokemon unable to OHKO it. Pretty self explanatory and straight forward. I prefer Mystical Fire which hits all the Steel types; Earth Power is just as fine.

pretty standard calm mind + 3 attacks. moonblast and power gem are your stabs and mystical fire rounds out your coverage. 180 speed is faster than 16 speed mantine, which means youre also faster than mons like dhelmise and glastrier, and the rest in hp. you could definitely run max speed as well if you wanted, or less even if the aforementioned mons arent an issue. the item choice is pretty flexible too honestly. customize it to your liking, have fun, stream beam me up scotty, and go crazy!

Timid Nature

- Mystical Fire/Body Press

So you don't really have the same speed boosts as Magearna but you have the same general bulk and annoyance to hopefully sweep some teams. Iron defence and calm mind provide you the necessary boosts to tank hits, such as Flygon's Earthquake and Vaporeon's scald. Weakness policy boosts you even further, with Draining Kiss allowing you to heal yourself back up. You could also replace Mystical fire for Body Press, which would allow you to bypass things like Copperajah and Heatproof Bronzong easier. Max speed allows you to outspeed common walls that could otherwise be problematic for you.

This dude is bonkers. Enough speed for mantine (although no one uses that, so just speed creeping vap should be good). Max attack so you can hit anything that's not like the 2 most common rockers in the tier super duper ultra hard. Play rough and diamond storm are necessary because STAB, body press is boosted by cb (right?) and heal bell is just there if you don't have another cleric or something. I used this in the nul tour not too long ago and I think I won with it. It can hit pretty hard but you have to watch out for copper and bronzong. Has a pretty nice chance to 2hko hdb vap and does a chunk to copper as shown below.
252+ Atk Choice Band Diancie Diamond Storm vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Vaporeon: 220-261 (47.4 - 56.2%) -- 82.4% chance to 2HKO
0 Def Choice Band Diancie Body Press vs. 156 HP / 0 Def Copperajah: 332-392 (78.3 - 92.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

Diancie @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Iron Defense
- Moonblast
- Stored Power
- Amnesia/Calm Mind

This set is supposed to come in on unsuspecting defensive pokemon and then setup with Iron Defense/Amnesia and sweep with Stored Power or Moonblast for psychic resists. It can also take care of Checks like Flygon and turn Mudsdale into Setup Fodder. You can also run a Calm Mind set to give Moonblast a significant boost in power. Although it does require a bit of team support to fully make it work.
Teammates:
Vaporeon is extremely helpful in being able to provide both heal bell and wish support
Arcanine for annoying steel types such as Copperajah and Levitate Bronzong
Rotom-Mow for the large amount of waters types such as Blastoise, Inteleon, Starmie and Vaporeon
252 Atk Choice Band Flygon Earthquake vs. +2 252 HP / 4 Def Diancie: 144-170 (47.3 - 55.9%) -- 18.8% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

Trick Room Diancie

Diancie @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
IVs: 0 Spe
Brave Nature
- Diamond Storm
- Body Press
- Trick Room
- Play Rough

General idea
Here we have a bulky Trick Room setter not weak to Ghost and Dark with the possibility to run physical moves not affected by Intimidate thaks to its ability Clear Body.
Diamond Storm is the Rock STAB that boosts the Def for Body Press, perfect coverage move to hit (at least neutrally) a good portion of the metagame.
Play Rough is the Fairy STAB chosen because it is a physical move that hits quite hard...despite the tricky 90% accuracy.
Trick Room is the gem of the set because it allows Diancie to forget its already low Spe in order to use all the EVs into its Hp and Atk. Also, it neuters Scarfers and other fast pokemons that are reliant on their high Spe to work. Trick Room in singles lasts few turns, but they are enough to turn the tables on most cases.
Leftovers is fine as item, but I'll try to find a more suitable one. Fell free to suggest something else.

Team(mates) support
Be wary of burns and Toxic, so Heal Bell support is appreciated as well as a way to deal properly with bulkier threats because Diancie has middling 100/100 Atk & SpA to work with.

If your team has a different Stealth Rock setter, this set is an alternative take on Diancie that preserves its great bulk while giving it better longevity and potentially the ability to sweep in the late game with boosts. The EV spread is straightforward, with max Defense chosen due to Calm Mind boosting Special Defense. Moonblast is the best mono attack due to its decent power, great neutral coverage, and being able to fish for SpD drops on switch-ins.

Gravity Diancie

Diancie @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpD / 8 Spe
Careful Nature
- Diamond Storm
- Body Press/Moonblast
- Stealth Rock
- Gravity
We have several strong uses of earthquake in the tier, and very few mons besides ground immunes that want to try and switch into them. Gravity not only allows powerful breakers such as Golurk or CB Flygon to spam earthquake, It also makes sure you hit your diamond storms because we all know that that move is actually only 50% accurate

The above TR set didn't say what specific version it was, so doing my own:

Diancie @ Life Orb
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpA
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Trick Room
- Misty Explosion
- Diamond Storm
- Body Press

This set is made to try to break as many holes as possible as fast as possible, and then use Misty Explosion to bring in a teammate. Its fairy easy to use, esp given how well it synergizes with other TR abusers (eg SR Copperajah), just be wary of Vaporeon. Suggested teammates include well, SR Copperajah, Dhelmise, and weirdly stuff like Scarf Flygon cause its great at poking holes into teams. Fun set overall that I've been using for a few months.

Mixed Attacker + Custap
:ss/diancie:
Diancie @ Custap Berry
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 8 Atk / 152 Def / 252 SpA / 96 Spe
Rash Nature
- Diamond Storm
- Earth Power
- Mystical Fire / Moonblast
- Body Press

A mixed Attacker with Custap Berry that can allow you to move first one time to revenge kill a Pokemon. 96 Speed EVs is for outspeeding opposing Diancie and Dragalge. 252 EVs are in special attack. 8 EVs are in attack because why not. The rest of the EVs is for the defense stat to help with Body Press. Diamond Storm is rock STAB that targets things like Araquanid, Aerodactyl, and Xatu, and the chance to raise your defense stat is really good. Earth Power helps with steel types like Copperajah, along with punishing Pokemon like Toxicroak and Dragalge. Mystical Fire also helps with steel types and can lower the special attack. of opposing Pokémon. Moonblast can be used instead if you want to have a fairy STAB. Body Press attacks using your defense stat and works well with Diamond Storm.
