Cycle 4 - The Cow?
Are you lactose intolerance?? Well too bad, Week 4 will be featuring the milk cow Pokemon, Miltank! Miltank is a nice wall to a plethora of attacks and especially Fire- and Ice-type attacks from Pokemon like Ninetales or Frosmoth that otherwise may try to threaten this without Thick Fat! It also has access to Stealth Rock and cleric options such as Heal Bell or Milk Drink. Submissions will end on October 23rd.
Miltank (F) @ Leftovers / Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 HP / 144 Def / 112 Spe
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Seismic Toss
- Toxic
- Milk Drink

Miltank (F) @ Leftovers/HDB
Ability: Sap Sipper
EVs: 252 HP / 60 Def / 196 Spe
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Milk Drink
- Body Slam
- Toxic/Fire Punch

This mon is meant to counter the huge rise of Trevenant. With Sap Sipper, you hard wall both of it's two STABS, especially Horn Leech, not letting it recover up while you throw off a Sap Sipper boosted Body Slam or Fire Punch back. The speed is to outrun Gallade, letting Miltank get off huge damage on switches or in general. The faster speed+the +1 Sap Sipper boost make this mon a legit offensive threat. Toxic lets you semi cripple Muds, although Fire Punch hits Trev hard and Escav for a 2HKO at +1, meaning you can catch it coming in when they predict a Toxic. Although SR is kinda necessary on Miltank, if you pair it with another rocker, like Muds to cover its Trev weakness, you can run Toxic+Fire Punch for a lethal combo.

Reserving Offensive Rocks (yes I'm going there)

Miltank (F) @ Expert Belt
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Milk Drink
- Double-Edge
- Fire Punch / Earthquake

Okay so I wanted a fast and more offensive hazard setter on my team one day, and decided to screw around with this. Its pretty weak all things considered, but its a decent lure option, especially with Fire Punch to hit Escavalier and Ferroseed and other Steels in general. Expert Belt is mainly so Fire Punch is a guaranteed 2HKO on the latter and the former has an over half chance to get OHKO'd. I'd go Life Orb but stacking recoil is just not good. Earthquake can go over Fire Punch to hit other Steels harder but the presence of Escav and Ferro is of more importance to me.

Chople Berry on Miltank is basically a lure for Escavalier's and Gallade's Close Combat. Counter allows this set to hit both after the taken hit and KO them back (assuming a Close Combat from Choice Band Escavalier). The rest of the set is kinda the same, you can switch moves around like on the standard set.

rock slide ninjask lure
Miltank (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 HP / 144 SpD / 112 Spe
Careful Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Rock Slide
- Toxic
- Milk Drink

Ninjask is very known for being able to clean teams lategame and takes advantage of Defensive Pokemon like Miltank or Clefairy for Swords Dance. Miltank with Rock Slide OHKOs Ninjask and Seismic Toss is the only thing replaceable on this set due to Toxic still being a glue to hits Mudsdale along with Milk Drink for recovery and SR for hazards. Straight-forward set as its a lure for Ninjask which happens to be a very common glue atm.

:gs/Miltank:
Miltank (F) @ Lum Berry
Ability: Scrappy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Body Slam
- Earthquake
- Curse
- Milk Drink

Miltank can use Curse to setup with, to gain a +1 in Attack and a +1 in Defense, its great natural bulk allows it to do so. It has Scrappy so it isnt stonewalled by Pokemon such as Cofagrigus, Rotom, Froslass, and Jellicent so it can hit them with its great STAB in Body Slam. Earthquake is to break through troublesome steel-types like Steelvally, Sandslash-Alola, and Togedemaru. Milk Drink is there for longevity and to enable its ability to execute a Setup. Lum Berry heals a statuscondition such as a burn or a paralysis. It can heal Miltank aswell, when it steps on the field and Toxic Spikes are layed out beforehand, so it can secure the setup.

Offensive Facade Fling Miltank

Miltank (F) @ Flame Orb
Ability: Scrappy
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Fling
- Milk Drink
- Facade
- Stealth Rock

The use of this offensive Miltank is pretty linear:
(1) Put SR and be burned by Flame Orb;
(2) Use Fling to burn the target;
(3) Spam a STABbed 140-base power Facade;
(4) Keep yourself healthy with Milk Drink.
This is an annoyer set with reliable recovery and a powerful STAB.

Scrappy allows us to have a neutral coverage on whatever is not Rock or a Steel-type pokèmon, but those pokemons are hurt by burn. The loss of Thick Fat is very huge, though, because two extra resistances are very good to have but, at least, you don't have to use Double Edge to deal a ton of damage.
Flame Orb is a way to keep yourself safe from other detrimental status with the bonus of being kept easily under control.

Miltank has great bulk, making it a good SubToxic mon. Body Press also abuses that bulk.

MILF (Miltanks I'd Like to Focus Punch)

Miltank (F) @ Choice Band
Ability: Scrappy
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Double-Edge
- Facade
- Fire Punch
- Focus Punch

Choice Band Miltank is a nice little lure that deals nice 40% chip to incoming Mudsdale or OHKOes incoming Steel-types with coverage Focus Punch. Fire Punch for Escavalier and Facade for switching into Scalds. Also has enough speed to outrun Gallade, Duraludon and Rotom-forms.

252+ Atk Choice Band Miltank Double-Edge vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Mudsdale: 168-198 (41.5 - 49%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

252+ Atk Choice Band Miltank Facade (140 BP) vs. 252 HP / 196+ Def Jellicent: 259-306 (64.1 - 75.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

252+ Atk Choice Band Miltank Focus Punch vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Silvally-Steel: 404-476 (102.5 - 120.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252+ Atk Choice Band Miltank Focus Punch vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Stunfisk-Galar: 392-462 (92.8 - 109.4%) -- 75% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

252+ Atk Choice Band Miltank Fire Punch vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Escavalier: 372-440 (108.1 - 127.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252+ Atk Choice Band Miltank Double-Edge vs. 252 HP / 160+ Def Weezing: 159-187 (47.6 - 55.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Black Sludge recovery

Jolly Nature

- Whirlpool

This is functionally just standard wall Miltank with enough speed for Ghostvally (aka Toxic it before it subs), and Whirlpool last slot. Whirlpool means that you can trap and remove stuff like Weezing if needed, as well as do very silly stuff vs Mudsdale. Other moves are fairly self-explanatory; Stoss gives reliable damage even vs Steels, Toxic is OP, Milk Drink is Milk Drink.

Wouldnt sub toxic make more sense on a speedy set?

Miltank that functions both like an autonomous late game cleaner and a reasonably fast phys def (mil)tank. The speed on Miltank allows it to outspeed faster threats in the metagame like Duraludon, Basculin, and every flavor of Silvally, while hitting them quite hard. Scrappy allows it to not get outdone by ghost types. This kind of Miltank does need some support to break most physically defensive Pokémon, but it will catch some people by surprise. My advice, then, would be to keep it in the back as long as possible until you have worn down some of their defensive Pokémon that Miltank struggles with and then you start defense curling up for the win.

This is basically Kangaskhan but instead of having priority you're just naturally faster than some Pokemon now. Earthquake + Fire Punch covers all the Steel-types, and Scrappy Double-Edge is dummy strong. The last moveslot felt pretty arbitrary, but Body Slam I guess sounds alright for when you don't want to take recoil damage, whereas Stealth Rock could be okay as a last-ditch effort sort of deal.
