Sylveon @ Leftovers
Ability: Pixilate / Cute Charm
EVs: 252 HP / 188 Def / 68 SpD
Calm Nature
- Hyper Voice / Moonblast
- Wish
- Protect
- Heal Bell

Sylveon is the main attraction in the NU metagame! With a mixed defensive spread, it is able to take on many of the tier’s physical and special attackers simultaneously, specifically Sirfetch'd and Blastoise. Hyper Voice is stronger than Moonblast and can bypass Substitute, though the latter can be used if the Sylveon user fears Throat Chop from a potential Scrafty or Glastrier, which would completely neuter Sylveon for two turns and allow free setup. Protect, in tandem with Wish, is Sylveon’s most reliable form of healing and allows it to scout Choice-locked Pokemon like Indeedee-F, Rotom-C, and Tyrantrum. Heal Bell enhances Sylveon’s supportive capabilities, removing status conditions spread by Pokemon like Salazzle and Weezing. Bulky Steel-types like Copperajah, Escavalier, and Silvally-Steel pair especially well with Sylveon, as they can take on Poison- and Steel-types that threaten Sylveon, while it can take on opposing Fighting-types and also circumvent their lack of reliable recovery with Wish passing. Mudsdale also appreciates Sylveon's cleric support and can take on Pokemon such as Toxicroak, Salazzle, and Drapion, which can beat both Sylveon and most Steel-types.

Sylveon is the main attraction in the NU metagame! With a mixed defensive spread, Sylveon is able to take on many of the tier’s physical and special attackers simultaneously, specifically Sirfetch’d and Blastoise respectively. Moonblast is the STAB move of choice on this set in order to avoid being exploited by Throat Chop users like Tauros. Hyper Voice is the prefered STAB move of Sylveon as its stronger than Moonblast and can bypass Substitute. Moonblast, however, can be used if the Sylveon user is fearing a Throat Chop from a potential Scrafty or Glastrier, which would completely pacify Sylveon for two turns and allow for free setup. Tauros' Sheer Force negates the effects of Throat Chop; the main Pokemon affected by this are Scrafty, Grimmsnarl, and Glastrier. Wish provides immensely valuable support for its teammates by providing them recovery that they may otherwise lack. Protect, in tandem with Wish, is Sylveon’s most reliable form of healing and allows it to scout Choice-locked Pokemon like Indeedee-F, Rotom-C, (rotom is broken so its worth mentioning :P) and Tyrantrum. Heal Bell enhances Sylveon’s supportive capabilities, removing poison and burns volatile status conditions spread by Pokemon like Salazzle Talonflame and Weezing. Teammates that lack recovery, such as Copperajah, Escavalier, and Mudsdale, make for great team mates, as they appreciate Wish support thwarting negating prior chip damage, can help check threats like Talonflame , and in Mudsdale’s case, allow it to more easily check Drapion. Talonflame is a great partner for Sylveon, providing a good check towards the Steel-types that often end up walling this set. The content of this sentence is good I'm just splitting it into two more specific parts since both Steels and Mudsdale preform different rolls but are both great Sylveon partners. Bulky Steel-types like Copperajah, Escavaler, and Silvally-Steel pair especially well with Sylveon as they can take on Poison- and Steel-types that threaten Sylveon while it can take on opposing Fighting-types and also circumvent their lack of reliable recovery with WishPassing. Mudsdale also appreciates Sylveon's cleric support and can take on Pokemon such as Toxicroak, Salazzle, and Drapion which can beat both Sylveon and most Steel-types.

Sylveon is the main attraction in the NU metagame! With a mixed defensive spread, Sylveon it is able to take on many of the tier’s physical and special attackers simueltaniously simultaneously, specifically Sirfetch’d Sirfetch'd (fix apostrophes elsewhere too) and Blastoise respectively. Hyper Voice is the prefered STAB move of Sylveon as its stronger than Moonblast and can bypass Substitute, (comma) Moonblast, however, though the latter can be used if the Sylveon user is fearing a fears Throat Chop from a potential Scrafty or Glastrier, which would completely pacify neuter Sylveon for two turns and allow for free setup. Wish provides immensely valuable support for its teammates by providing them recovery that they may otherwise lack. (essentially dex info + effectively mentioned later in the teammates anyways) Protect, in tandem with Wish, is Sylveon’s most reliable form of healing and allows it to scout Choice-locked Pokemon like Indeedee-F, Rotom-C, (AC) and Tyrantrum. Heal Bell enhances Sylveon’s supportive capabilities, removing volatile (non-volatile actually anyways but yea redundant) status conditions spread by Pokemon like Salazzle and Weezing. Bulky Steel-types like Copperajah, Escavaler Escavalier, and Silvally-Steel pair especially well with Sylveon, (AC) as they can take on Poison- and Steel-types that threaten Sylveon, (AC) while it can take on opposing Fighting-types and also circumvent their lack of reliable recovery with Wish(space)passing. Mudsdale also appreciates Sylveon's cleric support and can take on Pokemon such as Toxicroak, Salazzle, and Drapion, (AC) which can beat both Sylveon and most Steel-types.
