Please list their FULL details here, including stuff like OT and ball captured in. I don't want to have a NYPC Advance-like situation for DP, it's best that we get on the ball with records for this early on.

The NYPC has been remodeled and is now called the Nintendo World Store.

The store has a website
http://www.nintendoworldstore.com/
at the moment is not supplying any Pokemon (Mew are fakes). The store is constantly providing players with the Mario items for Animal Crossing and the Jack Russel Terrier for Nintendogs. When the store distributes Pokemon it should be noted on the website. For a long time, they distributed the Ho-oh/Lugia ticket at the store.

From the information I've gathered (www.archive.org, forums and personal experience) this is as complete a PCNY distribution system as I prove.

These were distributed 12/16/2004 to 1/2/2005, they were hatched as eggs, so the OT and ID are whatever hatched them. They came at level 5 with the following moves and no other moves.
Chansey (level 5) - Sweet Scent/Wish
Drowzee (level 5) - Belly Drum/Wish
Exeggcute (level 5) - Sweet Scent/Wish
Farfetch'd (level 5) - Yawn/Wish
Kangaskan (level 5) - Yawn/Wish
Lickitung (level 5) - Heal Bell/Wish

To the best of my knowledge, those are the only special moves that Pokemon at the store were distributed with. The Pokemon Centers of Japan have also distributed some special Pokemon with special moves, but I don't have the details on those.

The pokemon below can have one of four OTs (PCNYa, PCNYb, PCNYc & PCNYd), signifying which of the four distribution machines were used.

The ID # corresponds to which distribution it is. If it was the first of the week from that machine it would have 00001, the second would be 00002. Each of the four machines had their own count for that promotion.

No Pokemon but those with special moves had any moves not normally available in the movepool, they were distributed with a combination of level up moves and TM/HMs.

This list is a little out of date, the best I've done is available at GameFAQs, I'll try and update this list at some point, but it's difficult to keep two of them going.

I've tried my best to compile a list of every event Pokemon (people have sent me a few PMs about this stuff), so here it goes, its also been composed in an FAQ, if anybody wants to see that stuff.

This is a list compiled by myself, using various information from the internet, so some of it might be wrong and I'm pretty sure its missing a good chunk of the Japanese events (need to update the list also so that the Japanese/German information is in the local language).

All Pokemon distributed at events during the advance generation were stored in Pokeballs. I need to find gender information on the original trainer for a lot of these Pokemon, so expect updates semi-soon.

This list does not list the special islands.

FAKE ALERTS

>>> Game Hacks Replicating Non-Existent Event
These events never happened, despite the data being in the game.
For some of them, the event may still take place.

Arceus

Darkrai

Deoxys
OT: Emerald Name
ID: Emerald Name
Found: Hoenn
Reason – The Deoxys events in Europe & North America occurred
before Emerald was released. All legit Deoxys from those two
continents MUST either be of the SPACE C variety or have
originated in KANTO.

Mew (English)
OT: Anything but MYSTRY
Reason – Nintendo never distributed the Old Sea Chart in America.

Shaymin

>>> Possible Fakes (use caution)

Mew
OT: NYC
ID: 01234
Reason for suspicion – No documentation of this promotion
occurred as I looked for information about this Pokemon. There
have been incorrect reports from NYC before (Krabby with Cross
Chop in the GSC days). No evidence that Nintendo ever posted
about this Mew on the Pokemon website. The ID # does not match
any typical pattern for Nintendo Event Pokemon. If anybody has
any information or proof of the distribution of this Pokemon
please contact me.

*** Confirmed Fakes
If you proof that these Pokemon are not fake, please contact me.

Deoxys
OT: SPACE C
ID: 00010
Reason – Two spaces between E and C. It’s a poor hack.

Manaphy (English)
Location Caught: Not Hatched

Mew
Found: Nintendo World
Reason – Nintendo World has not distributed any Pokemon!

My FAQ has been submitted on GameFAQs and should be available on the next update of the site, should be in the Pokemon Diamond section. If the crew at Smogon want to use my information/faq for any section of the site (when it comes back) I'm willing to allow it.

Once again an amazing list, thank you so much for this. As far as the fakes go, I have this to add:

For event pokemon where the OT needs a space, examine the space width. There's a difference in width between the space in the game's English font and its Japanese font (the Japanese font is wider). For example: if a "10 ANIV" Celebi has a space that seems a bit too wide, it is a hack.

Actually, there was another UK event which happened after Emerald came out in USA, called Hunt for Deoxys, at VUE cinemas. I went to one on 8th October 2005, way after Emerald came out.

News from Gold Ursaring:

All surfing Pikachu (from PBR) must be Hardy and female. They can have any IVs but they must be Hardy and female.

I don't have any info you don't already have (I live in Australia. Nintendo Australia can't afford event Pokemon machines) but I do have a request for info that is sent in.

More preferable would be to let someone (ie oxylik or myself) who has the ability to dump their DP save game and read the Pokemon data straight from the game borrow the Pokemon for a few minutes to run a full analysis. The process doesn't actually ever have write access to the Pokemon at any time so the only risk of losing the Pokemon is if the DP game itself fails. The more comprehensive the data we collect the better.

I also have a question, do Pokemon that had the fateful encounter maintain that status in DP, or are they just regular Kanto/Hoenn Pokemon?

The Fateful Encounters from Kanto/Hoenn become Kanto or Hoenn, depending on where they were transferred from. That is certainly true of the Colosseum Ho-ohs, and I would assume that it is the same with the others.

If the Pokemon has an obedience bit set (e.g. Mew), then it retains that status when transferred using Pal Park. However, the "fateful encounter" description from R/S/E/FR/LG was just the location text. Thus, the "fateful encounter" description is overwritten when you use Pal Park, just like every other location description.

The reason I ask is because in DP there is a bit that corresponds to "Fateful Encounter" separate to the location data and I'm wondering what its for.

That said the obedience bit is DP is stored where, is it in the same data range is nature/gender/ect or in the hidden value or elsewhere?

Likewise how big are DP's gender values, are they a bite like in adv or just a single bit?

If you have any handy links/programs that'd be great.

From what I've read, the obedience bit in DP is the fateful encounter flag.

Also, Downshift confirmed that as of now Darkrai can't be put up on the GTS for trade due to its ribbon.

Also, the legit movie Darkrai now works in PBR.
