!code Weavile's access to Swords Dance, alongside its great offensive typing, high Attack and Speed stats, and excellent STAB moves in Triple Axel and Knock Off, makes it a versatile and formidable wallbreaker capable of shredding through common defensive backbones like Landorus-T, Galarian Slowking, and Tornadus-T. Weavile can pressure Psychic-, Ground-, and Grass-types like Mega Latias, Landorus-T, and Serperior, forcing them to switch out, and set up a Swords Dance. Knock Off gives Weavile a more powerful utility presence by removing Heavy-Duty Boots and Leftovers from Toxapex and Ferrothorn. Ice Shard is useful for revenge killing and, when boosted, picking off faster, weakened threats, such as Choice Scarf Landorus-T, Mega Lopunny, and Tapu Koko. Heavy-Duty Boots allows Weavile to ignore its Stealth Rock weakness, the chip damage from Spikes, and poison from Toxic Spikes when pivoting in. Tera Dark is run to boost Knock Off, allowing Weavile to muscle through Ferrothorn, Alomomola, and Toxapex. Weavile's ability to remove items like Heavy-Duty Boots from foes like Toxapex and Alomomola cripples these defensive Pokemon's longevity and makes it easier for its teammates, like Urshifu-R and Iron Valiant, to sweep. Electric-types like Tapu Koko and Raging Bolt love Weavile's ability to threaten Ground-types like Landorus-T, Gliscor, and Ting-Lu and force them to Terastallize so that the aforementioned Electric-types can revenge kill them. Weavile's inability to directly switch into attacks hinders it's ability to reliably break down teams, so teammates like Rotom-W and Tornadus-T that can pivot it in against the likes of Galarian Slowking, Mega Latios, and Zapdos are good partners. Weavile can't afford to lose its item because damage from entry hazards racks up quickly, so teammates such as Mega Lopunny and Mega Scizor that can absorb Knock Off are appreciated. Due to Weavile's vulnerability to fast revenge killers like Zamazenta and Tapu Koko, defensive Pokemon like Galarian Slowking and Ferrothorn make for good teammates. Weavile can be answered by defensive Pokemon such as Toxapex, Ferrothorn, and Mega Scizor, so pairing Weavile with answers to them, such as Garchomp and Volcarona, is beneficial.

this wasn't approved by mods yet, we're still discussing whether or not sd weav should be written up; wait for someone to give you the go-ahead in the future. i'm locking this until we come to a consensus on it

e: we discussed and decided to cut darkinium z (and thus throat chop) from the set to represent its niche more clearly; this is fine to write up now

Weavile's access to Swords Dance, coupled with its excellent offensive typing, high Attack and Speed stats and excellent STAB moves in Triple Axel and Knock Off make it a versatile and formidable Pokemon capable of being fulfilling multiple roles on a team like a wallbreaker that shreds through common defensive backbones on teams like Landorus-T, Slowking Galar, and Tornadus-T just more clarification on what it actually does well against., revenge killer, and late game cleaner, this is more something band Weav would do, sd Weav isn’t supposed to do these things and it isn’t THAT fast or as immediately powerful to do this; it’s also supposed to be a sweeper that forces switches against stuff fearing band and then sets up like you said later. Also, give a sentence here about how Knock removes crucial items like Boots and Lefties from stuff like pex and ferro Ice Shard is useful for revenge killing and picking off faster, weakened threats when boosted, Weav isn’t rkilling stuff from full so it’s nice to clarify that stuff needs to be weakened such as Choice Scarf Landorus-T, Scale Shot Mega Garchomp Mega Lopunny, Mchomp isn’t that relevant nowadays and Rillaboom, Tapu Koko. Rilla sounds a little weird for newer players that don’t know abt Rilla having gglide Heavy-Duty Boots is it's best item to ignore Stealth Rocks weakness and other entry hazards in general, Tera Dark is ran to boost Knock Off, allowing it to muscle through Ferrothorn, Alomomola and Specially Defensive Skeledirge, Toxapex you beat dirge always so I don’t get this. [and it can pressure and force Psychic, Ghost Ground-, Grounds are much more relevant than ghosts rn and grass types like Serperior, Landorus-T, and Mega Latias to switch out and gets a Swords Dance and threaten the switched pokemon with significant damage this probably doesn’t need to be explained, ofc you will do significant damage to whatever comes in once u sd] Ok so for the stuff in brackets, move it to the intro and reword it to make it a sentence, it's ability to remove the foes like Toxapex and Alomomola’s items like Heavy-Duty Boots just simply more clarification on what Weav can hinder for its teammates cripple these defensive mons longevity and make it easier for its teammates to sweep like Urshifu-R and Iron Valiant,. Electric types like Tapu Koko and Raging Bolt loves Weavile‘s ability to kill and chip ground types like Landorus-T, Gliscor and Ting Lu even if they and force them to the part” even if they” sounds like Weav won’t threaten them to do so sometimes, further implying that they sometimes won’t Terastallize so they can get revenge killed by the aforementioned electric types. Weavile's inability to directly switch into attacks hinders its ability to reliably break down teams so Pokemons that can help safely pivot Weavile onto the field such as Landorus-T, Tornadous-T and Mega Lopunny make for excellent teammates what are some things these Pokemon pivot on that Weav threatens? Give examples. Due Weavile's vulnerability to Ffast revenge killers like Zamazenta and Tapu koko threaten an OHKO or forces a switch Furthermore so make defensive pokemons like Mega Latias Landorus-T you aren’t ever slotting sd Weav with Mtias and Iron Treads Ferrothorn treads isn’t that relevant are appreciated, and Tapu Lele psychic Terrain helps to negate priority moves like Mega Medicham Fake out and Mega Scizor Bullet Punch that are capable of inflicting significant damage on Weavile although it restrict the usage of Ice Shard this is just outright hindering Weav lol, instead mention Pokemon that can threaten some of weav’s defensive checks like msciz, Ferro, and pex like Volc and Chomp.

Implement this and I’ll look at it again before I stamp it for QC 1/2. Look through this guide (the spelling and grammar standards) because most of this was a strain to check and read grammatically and would also be the same for the GP team

so Rotom-W and Tornadus-T are good teammates to pivot Weavile in against the likes of Galarian Slowking, Mega Latios and opposing Rotom-W Zapdos why do you want Weav on wash?.

Due Weavile's vulnerability to fast revenge killers like Zamazenta and Tapu koko, defensive pokemons like Landorus-T Galarian Slowking I think this is a much more quality example because Koko can click hp ice into you and if that zama is idbp you are in for a not so fun time and Ferrothorn are appreciated,.

Electric types like Tapu Koko and Raging Bolt loves Weavile‘s ability to kill threaten no ground is just staying in, either switch or tera like you mention later ground types like Landorus-T, Gliscor and Ting Lu and force them to Terastallize so they can get revenge killed by the aforementioned electric types. Weavile's inability to directly switch into attacks hinders its ability to reliably break down teams so Rotom-W and Tornadus-T are good teammates to pivot so teammates like Rotom-W and Tornadus-T that can pivot Weavile in against the likes of Galarian Slowking, Mega Latios and Zapdos are good partners. 2/2 after implement just ping me

Heavy-Duty Boots is it's best item to ignore Stealth Rock weakness and the chip from Spikes and to ignore the poison from Toxic Spikes
actually this feels kinda dex info-y, explain a bit why this is good for weavile (it will pivot in often and thus does not appreciate chip)

absorb knock off are appreciated such as Mega Lopunny and Urshifu-R
shifu not a knock absorber, maybe something like msciz
