Holy fuck Paul millsap...in that last 20 seconds he exceeded his total amount of 3PM for his career. Overtime! Hope the Jazz win it!

How much do you think the Heat will get about letting Eddie House take the winning/overtime shot again and missing causing a loss? I can already see this affecting the future of the team if they let the media get to them. Media *will* call Wade / James out on why they don't be superstars and take the shots, etc. and might cause a rift that might stop good teamwork. Fucking great game though. Millsap went hard and Deron Williams / Miles were playing great too. Might be watching more of the Jazz.

Edit because i don't give a shit and apparently it matter: like i thought, papers here went off about it, so did local sports news. media doesn't give a shit about who's open, they care about lebron and wade are superstars in their eyes etc. can't find anything online but lol major sports providers writing bad things about the heat this early. i wasn't really getting at a 'man why the fuck did eddie house take the shot god damn' it was more of a 'lol the media is going to go off about this because eddie house took the last shot and they didn't run a play for lebron / wade to win the game'.

Holy shitting dicknipples, that was a great game. If I'm remembering correctly, isn't this also the first game of the season in which Miami let a team score 100+ points on them? Either way, I'm proud of the Jazz, it looks like they can contend just fine without Boozer and Korver.

Eddie House was the only man open.... I dont know if you've ever actually played basketball, but .4 isnt exactly enough time to catch and shoot (and for any Laker fans that will jump on me, they started the clock late on Fishers shot in 03-04)

Anyway, Milsap is good, but arent Heat fans just a little worried that middle tier PF's are completely destroying the Heat frontline? I mean, allowing 26-13 to Okafor then 46 to Milsap isnt going to cut it if they hope to run with the Lakers, or any team with a good frontline in a 7 game series...

This is a seriously embarrassing game by the Lakers. The 'Wolves have one of the worst defenses in the league, only proven by the asston of turnovers in this game alone...and Lakers are only leading 98-94 with a few seconds left? Ugh...

Kevin Love is going to be pulling down a lot of 20/20s in losing games until the Wolves ship him off.

The most embarrassing, but you're still 8-0... which is the best start in the last decade for the Lakers.

Must be good to be a spoiled Lakers fan :P

You have no idea. <3

But really, it's good to have a team like the Lakers in LA because without them, we wouldn't have shit. Clippers suck major ass, Kings have never won the Stanley Cup, Dodgers haven't won the World Series since '88 and suck now...yeah. <3 Lakers.

Yes, I believe .4 seconds is the lowest margin of time a player has to shoot the basketball. Anything below .4 seconds has to be a play at the rim I believe.

The best thing the Heat can do now is get the frontline in foul trouble, which they are pretty good at doing if they tried. They shot countless free throws last night. I believe in the game against the Magic, Dwight Howard didn't play much in the second half due to foul trouble, which was when the Heat blew the game open.

Another thing is the Heat have no answer for elite point guards. Rajon Rondo, Chris Paul, and now Deron Williams have all put on a clinic. Williams put up all those numbers in the second half no less. He had like 2 points/assists before halftime. They have some serious questions to answer there and not just on the offensive end for who will be their point guard. It's defensively where this problem is a huge factor.

Its literally almost impossible to take a good shot with .4 by catching and shooting, the best you can do is basically catch it and flick it, otherwise you need to throw it at the rim and hope somebody can catch it and lay it up...

Also, I dont understand why Chalmers doesnt play over Aoroyo (thats definitely not how you spell it but im incredibly lazy atm).. Chalmers definitely has to be able to D up better then him and well, its not like they really need a PG for offense anyway

While you don't necessarily need a point guard for offense, you do need a decent point guard if you plan to win a championship. As much as I hate Fisher, he hits big shots when necessary. The reason that you need a point guard to shoot well and at least create for a mid-range jumper is because the next closest guy on the perimeter to small forwards/shooting guards IS the point guard.

Look at the past championships. Each one at least had that point guard who could do that. If they force the ball out of the best guy on the perimeter's hands, the point guard has to step up and score to take pressure off of him.

In other news, where the fuck was this Michael Beasley for the last few years. I'm pretty damn impressed by his first half tbh!

Its rather unfair to compare the two... John Wall is a more capable player of achieving a triple double due to his size, and well he also does have the potential to be pretty good and possibly better than D rose in a few years... I noticed nobody mentioned SAT's taken by both players because im sure its 0 for both!

Everyone's falling in love with Wall, I wonder how many bad games it takes for these "fans" to turn on him. Who's setting the o/u?

http://sports.espn.go.com/chicago/nba/news/story?id=5789761 - it's a small commentary on Noah's (and others) perception of KG, and does anyone else find Noah calling anyone else in the world ugly deliciously ironic?
I think none of it is relevent because they're all babies for talking about what KG says on the court... If Vilanueva was really offended by what KG says he would've done his talking on the court, not cry to the media about how he got in your head

It appears that I linked the wrong article, Noah's was more tongue in cheek then anything but there was something along the lines of what Charlie V and such said if I can re find the link.
