Okidogi @ Leftovers
Ability: Guard Dog
Tera Type: Dark
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Bulk Up
- Drain Punch
- Knock Off
- Protect

This toxic dog reigns supreme in the Doubles OU metagame. Okidogi has an excellent matchup against Incineroar, gaining +1 with Intimidate thanks to Guard Dog and OHKOing Incineroar with Drain Punch before it can move. Okidoki is immune to Whirlwind from Ting-Lu clearing its boosts. Bulk Up allows Okidogi to increase its bulk and damage against bulky sweepers like Diancie and Iron Hands. Drain Punch is a consistent Fighting-type STAB attack and it works in tandem with Leftovers to provide a lot of healing for Okidogi. Knock Off threatens Gholdengo and Sinistcha while removing their items. Tera Dark provides Okidogi with an immunity to Psychic-type attacks like Expanding Force from Iron Crown and removes its weakness to Ground-type attacks like Earth Power from Landorus. Landorus and Ursaluna are Okidogi's biggest threats. Partners like Ogerpon-W and Chien-Pao can threaten to KO them with Ivy Cudgel and Ice Spinner. They can also reduce their effectiveness with Ogerpon-W providing redirection so Okidogi can set up taking minimal damage and Chien-Pao can slow down Landorus with Icy Wind. Alolan Ninetales provides Aurora Veil allowing Okidogi to take less damage while setting up as well as threatening Landorus and Ursaluna. Sinistcha can provide healing with Hospitality as well as redirection to help Okidogi outlast Diancie.

1133 characters excluding spaces and linebreaks.

-Yeah Dogi does the thing vs Incineroar, it's also worth noting that because it outspeeds and OHKOs Incineroar, it's a much more consistent option for physical setup as you dont have to worry about being hit by Will-O-Wisp. If you have the space, you can also mention being immune to Whirlwind from Ting-Lu
-The sentence about living neutral attacks isn't really relevant
-Diancie is a much better mention for Pokemon to setup against than Ogerpon-W
-Iron Crown is a better mention of Expanding Force users, it's more common in high level play and Hatterene still hits you with Gleam anyway
-Waterpon and Chienpao are fine partner mentions, but I wouldn't talk too much about "dealing with psychic types", that's what tera dark is for. Mention Snow and Sinistcha as well, as the former also hits Landorus while giving Dogi Veil and Dogi can hit Diancie, while Sinistcha can passively heal Dogi even more and has a great Ursaluna matchup
