RoA Forum Championship [
1] involves inviting all winners of major RoA tournaments, and RoA Room Championship winners since the last edition to participate in either a round-robin division for a specific generation or the RoA multi-gen round-robin division.

Past Gen Championships consists of a first-to-2-win single elimination playoffs (top 16) for each generation, involving qualification points from Global Championships, Classic Cups and Seasonals (Type A - worth 60%), RoA / Smogon Tour (Type B worth 30%) and RoAST / RoALT (Type C worth 10%). Winning these championships awards you a ribbon in your postbit. See the 2018 (first year) qualification post

Winter and Summer Seasonals are two standard double elimination tournaments for each old generation's OverUsed tier, which serve as the remaining 2/4 majors, along with Classic cups and Global Championships.

Global Championships are double-elimination per round tournaments, where each player is randomly paired twice. If they win twice, they are through, if they lose twice, they are out and if they win 1, lose 1, they go into a tiebreak match to decide which 1 of 2 players go through. RBY OU GC [
1, 2, 3, 4] is first-to-2 wins each match while GSC [1], ADV [1], DPP [1], BW [1] and ORAS OU GCs [1] are first-to-1 win.

Classic Cups are first-to-2 win single eliminations tournaments, 5 of which are part of the Official Tournament known as
Smogon Classic [1, 2, 3, 4], with RBY, GSC, ADV, DPP and BW Cups earning you points towards entry into the Smogon Classic Playoffs. Winning the playoffs awards you with a trophy in your postbit. The remaining unofficial ORAS Cup just counts towards RoA Forum and Past Gen Championships.

Smogon Premier League [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10] is a 10-team, 12-slot, franchise-based team tournament, with 9 weeks of qualifying and 2 weeks playoffs. Being on the winning team of the playoffs awards you with a trophy in your postbit.

RoA Premier League [
1, 2, 3, 4] is RoA's version of SPL, a franchise-based team tournament with currently 12 slots, 2 per old generation OU and 8 teams, for a total of 7 weeks qualifying and 2 weeks playoffs.

World Cup of Pokémon [2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13] is a nations-based team tournament which features a qualifying tournament going into a 16-team 10-slot main tournament. Slots are all OU, currently in all generations, with old generations occupying a slot each. Being on the winning team of the playoffs awards you with a trophy in your postbit.

Retro Cup of Pokémon [
1] is a team tournament format based of off World Cup of Pokémon which pits nations together in old generation OUs not featured in WCoP.

RoA Olympics
[
1, 2, 3] is a hybrid team-individual tournament whereby players of a team are selected to compete in individual tournaments for a number of old generation tiers where they can be awarded gold, silver and bronze for finishing 1st, 2nd and 3rd place respectively and earn points based on those finishes. The team with the highest points at the conclusion is the winner of the RoA Olympics. Features Ubers and UU Tiers.

Major League RoA [
1, 2, 3] is a round-robin based tournament where players are split into conferences based on their timezones. The top 4 from each conference goes into a top 16 playoffs where they play first-to-3-wins matches until they are either eliminated or become the Major League champion.

Smogon Tour
is Smogon's biggest series of live tournaments, featuring the latest 3 generation OU tiers, currently USM, ORAS and BW over 9 weeks, concluding in a 16-man first-to-2-win playoffs. Winning the playoffs awards you with a trophy in your postbit.

RoA Tour [
1, 2, 3, 4] is RoA's version of Smogon Tour, a series of live tournaments, culminating in an 8-man first-to-2-win single elimination playoffs, featuring all the OU tiers (currently DPP, ADV, GSC, RBY) of the discontinued tiers from Smogon Tour, i.e. RoA Tour and Smogon Tour complement one another.

RoA Ladder Tournament [
1, 2] is RoA's version of OLT, with a week for each old generation OU which earn you points, with the top 16 qualifying for a first-to-2-win-squared single elimination tournament in all tiers.

RoA Standard Tournament [1,
2] is an elimination tournament featuring all old generation OU tiers every round.

Victory RoAd
[
1, 2, 3, 4] is a gym leader-esque challenge consisting of veteran trainers for each old generation OU, most of which have to be defeated to qualify for
Indigo Plateau. The Winter season is intended to feature UU tiers, while the Summer Season Ubers tiers.


Indigo Plateau
[1, 2, 3] functions as the playoffs for those who have successfully conquered Victory RoAd. Only one of these conquerors can claim the trophy, via a round-robin or single elimination tournament if necessary.

RoA Room Championship Playoffs occur almost every month, and allow a whole month period for you to qualify for the top 8 single elimination first-to-3-win playoffs via live Pokémon Showdown tournaments in the Ruins of Alph room, with a leaderboard present following the conclusion of each live tournament.

[1, 2, 3, 4] is an OverUsed 8-team, 8-slot team tournament based on SPL. Qualification lasts 7 weeks, followed by semi-finals and finals within the playoffs. It features ADV OU and up, after initially featuring RBY OU and GSC OU for the first two editions.

UnderUsed Premier League
[1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6] is an UnderUsed 8-team, 10-slot team tournament based on SPL. Qualification lasts 7 weeks, followed by semi-finals and finals (playoffs). It features GSC UU and up.

RarelyUsed Premier League
[1, 2, 3, 4, 5] is a RarelyUsed team tournament based on SPL, consisting of 8 teams and 8 slots. Qualification lasts 7 weeks and is followed by a semi-finals and finals within playoffs. It features BW RU and up.

RoA Room Tour Nights are a series of nightly individual live tournaments, featured around an old generation each (RBY, GSC, ADV, DPP, BW, ORAS) from Monday through to Saturday. Sunday Spotlight features a theme that includes all old generations.

RoA Mini-tournaments
are a series of monthly individual tournaments, featuring a unique format in an old generation, often corresponding to a RoA Spotlight ladder.

RoA Battle of the Week [
1, 2] is a series of weekly exhibition matches where players would vote on the generation, the tier and the two competitors.

RoA King of the Hill
[
1] is a 3-month challenge that involves the champion posting their teams and defending their title. The player who wins the title (including defending it) the most times is the King of the Hill for that quarter.

RoA Spotlight Ladders are monthly competitions which rotate between tiers. One tier is either UU or Ubers of an old generation. Another tier is picked by the RoA Room Staff in the RoA Discord, and a final tier (Community Choice) is voted on in a thread, with users first nominating the generation.
