Monotype Omastar (Rock) [QC 3/3] [GP 2/2]

[OVERVIEW]

Rock
========

Omastar is one of Rock's best special sweepers thanks to Shell Smash, allowing it to sweep in matchups like Ground and Steel. Its part Water typing makes it an important asset in the Ground matchup, being able to check Ground-types like Hippowdon, Landorus, and Mamoswine, and it also gives Omastar a helpful neutrality to Steel- and Water-type attacks. With its high Defense, Omastar can easily survive physical hits to take advantage of its ability Weak Armor, granting it +4 Speed when combined with a Shell Smash, which allows it to outspeed fast threats such as Sand Rush Excadrill and Choice Scarf Latios. Unfortunately, Omastar has a terrible Special Defense stat, forcing it to rely on sand's Special Defense boost to set up against most special attackers and leaving it vulnerable to being revenge killed by Choice Scarf users like Nihilego and Gengar. After a single Shell Smash, it still ends up being outsped by common Choice Scarf Pokemon like Nihilego and Victini due to its low base 55 Speed. Its Rock / Water typing gives it a 4x weakness to Grass-type attacks, as well as other common attacking types like Ground, Fighting, and Electric. Omastar is consistently walled by specially defensive Pokemon like Chansey and Mantine and finds a lot of difficulty setting up in matchups outside of Ground and Steel.

Moves
========

Shell Smash is Omastar's most important move, doubling its Attack, Special Attack, and Speed while reducing its Defense and Special Defense, allowing it to become a prominent sweeper against Ground teams. Hydro Pump is Omastar’s most powerful Water-type STAB move and is used to hit Ground-types like Hippowdon and Mamoswine. Ice Beam is good coverage for hitting Dragon-, Grass-, and Flying-types like Garchomp, Tapu Bulu, and Landorus. Hidden Power Grass gives Omastar the ability to effectively handle Ground teams, being able to OHKO Ground-types that are immune to Hydro Pump such as Seismitoad and Gastrodon after a Shell Smash boost.

Set Details
========

Maximum investment in Special Attack and Speed with a Timid nature is used to make Omastar as fast and strong as possible. However, a Modest nature can also be used to give Omastar extra power, allowing it to always OHKO Mega Charizard Y from full health with Hydro Pump. The ability Weak Armor lowers Omastar’s Defense while doubling its Speed whenever it's hit with a physical attack, allowing it to outspeed Excadrill under sand without the need of Sticky Web. The Air Balloon is used to make sure Omastar can safely set up against Ground-types like Excadrill and Diggersby and it doesn't get easily revenge killed by Pokemon with Ground coverage, such as Gyarados and Alolan Sandslash.

Usage Tips
========

Remove or weaken Omastar's checks such as Celesteela, Ferrothorn, and Mega Scizor before setting up with Omastar. For example, Omastar is best used as a late-game sweeper against Ground teams once Dugtrio's Focus Sash has been broken by Stealth Rock, and in the Steel matchup, Omastar should be used to sweep once priority users like Bisharp and Mega Scizor are defeated. Make sure to preserve Omastar's Air Balloon so that it can safely set up Shell Smash against Ground-types like Excadrill and Pokemon locked into a Ground-type move. Against Ground teams, make sure to get up Stealth Rock to break Dugtrio's Focus Sash, since it can otherwise survive a hit and revenge kill Omastar with Reversal. Keep Omastar away from status conditions such as paralysis and poison, since paralysis can make Omastar unable to outspeed common threats after Shell Smash, and poison limits the turns it has to sweep. Make sure to keep Omastar healthy, since chip damage makes it more difficult to safely set up with Shell Smash, and losing its Air Balloon takes away its ability to set up against Ground-types. It's not advised to set up against a slower Pokemon, since Omastar is at risk of taking heavy damage with its lowered defenses. In matchups such as Flying, Omastar is intended to be used more as a safe check to Ground-types like Landorus-T and Gliscor rather than as a setup sweeper.

Team Options
========

Shuckle can set up Sticky Web for Omastar, allowing it to outspeed fast revenge killers after a Shell Smash, although this isn't as effective against slower Pokemon, since Omastar finds difficulty setting up against them due to the Defense and Special Defense drops from Shell Smash. Shuckle can also use Encore on passive Pokemon to give Omastar an easier setup opportunity. Terrakion is able to break past special walls like Chansey and Mantine that can wall Omastar. In return, Omastar can beat bulky Ground-types like Hippowdon and Gastrodon. Tyranitar can trap revenge killers like Choice Scarf Gengar and Latios that outspeed Omastar after a Shell Smash and can give Omastar increased Special Defense with Sand Stream for an easier setup opportunity. Mega Diancie is a powerful mixed attacker that can check Fighting-types like Keldeo and Breloom for Omastar. Alolan Golem is able to trap bulky Steel-types like Empoleon and Celesteela that Omastar can't KO in a single hit and can also trap Ferrothorn and Mega Scizor, allowing Omastar to sweep Steel teams more easily. Rhyperior can check revenge killers like Choice Scarf Terrakion that outspeed Omastar after a Shell Smash, as well as Pokemon with priority attacks like Bisharp and Mega Scizor.

Surf can be used as a more consistent option over Hydro Pump. However, without Hydro Pump's power, Omastar won't be able to OHKO physically defensive Celesteela after Stealth Rock. Waterium Z can be used to break past defensive Pokemon that a +2 Hydro Pump would only 2HKO, such as Porygon2, Celesteela, and Jirachi. However, this would come at the cost of the Ground immunity it receives with Air Balloon, which is crucial for setting up Shell Smash against Ground teams. Earth Power can be used as a means of beating Water-types that don't take much damage from Hidden Power Grass, such as Toxapex and Empoleon. However, it has very little use outside of this matchup and would come at the cost of Ice Beam to hit Dragon-types like Garchomp and Latias. Hidden Power Fire can be used check Steel-types like Ferrothorn and Mega Scizor. However, this would come at the cost of Hidden Power Grass and the ability to defeat Water-immune Ground-types like Seismitoad and Gastrodon. Hidden Power Electric can allow Omastar to check Water-types such as non-Haze Toxapex, Mantine, and Gyarados, but similarly to Hidden Power Fire, it would require replacing Hidden Power Grass and hindering Omastar's effectiveness in the Ground matchup.

Checks and Counters
===================

Rock
--------
**Grass-types**: Mega Venusaur and Ferrothorn can take any attack from Omastar and can proceed to OHKO it with their Grass-type STAB moves. However, Ferrothorn does have to fear a boosted Hidden Power Fire.

**Fighting-types**: Keldeo, Mega Gallade, and Heracross are capable of OHKOing Omastar with their Fighting-type STAB moves. Keldeo in particular is also able to survive any attack from Omastar even after a Shell Smash.

**Water-types**: Mantine, Suicune, and Sap Sipper Azumarill are able to survive all of Omastar's attacks after a Shell Smash and can wear it down through Scald burns. However, Mantine does have to be wary of Hidden Power Electric.

**Priority Attacks**: Breloom, Bisharp, and Mega Scizor can revenge kill Omastar after a Shell Smash with their priority STAB moves. The Defense decreases from Weak Armor also contribute to this problem.

**Revenge Killers**: Choice Scarf Terrakion, Gengar, and Victini can outspeed Omastar after a Shell Smash and OHKO it. However, Landorus-T can only revenge kill it if Omastar's Air Balloon is popped.

**Specially Defensive Pokemon**: Chansey, Mega Venusaur, and Celesteela can survive any of Omastar's attacks and slowly wear it down.

Rock

* Omastar is one of Rock’s best special sweepers due to having access to Shell Smash, doubling its Attack, Special Attack, and Speed, while also reducing its Defense and Special Defense. That's just dex info, add in something substantial instead, "Shell Smash, and a very potent win condition in matchups such as X and X." - or something like that
* Its part Water typing allows it to check many threatening Ground-types such as Hippowdon, Landorus, and Gliscor after setting up. I think you should rewrite this bullet to emphasize how great it is in the Ground matchup, as that's one of the key reasons for using Omastar at all.
* Its high Defense stat allows it to survive at least one physical hit as it sets up.
* With its ability Weak Armor, its Speed gets doubled whenever it’s hit by a contact move, which, when paired with a Shell Smash, will grant it +4 Speed.
* Unfortunately, it has a terrible Special Defense stat, making it difficult to set up against special attackers like Landorus and Latios.
* After a single Shell Smash, it still ends up being outsped by common Choice Scarf Pokemon like Nihilego and Victini due to its very low base 55 Speed.
* Its Rock / Water typing grants it a 4x weakness to Grass-type attacks, as well as other common attacking types like Ground, Fighting, and Electric.

Put Timid before Modest. Your main set has HP Grass first, so this mismatches stating below that HP Fire is needed with Modest to beat Ferrothorn. Reliably outspeeding Scarf Heracross and Excadrill is more important, in my opinion, than OHKOing Ferrothorn. If Modest gains important KOs that Timid doesn't besides Ferrothorn (say with HPump), you can keep it this way, but I think you'd need to change your example in Set Details.

Moves
========

* Shell Smash is Omastar’s most important move, doubling its Attack, Special Attack, and Speed while reducing its Defense and Special Defense. Instead of listing exactly what it does (as readers should already know that) state what it enables Omastar to do.
* Hydro Pump is Omastar’s most powerful Water STAB and is used to hit Ground-types like Hippowdon and Mamoswine.
* Ice Beam is good coverage for hitting Dragon-, Grass-, and Flying-types types like Garchomp and Dragonite (add examples of the other types).
* Earth Power can be used to hit Water-types that don’t take much from Hidden Power Grass like Toxapex and Volcanion.
* Hidden Power Grass allows Omastar to hit Ground-types that are immune to Water-type moves like Seismitoad and Gastrodon.
* Hidden Power Fire is an option over Hidden Power Grass in order to hit Steel-types like Mega Scizor and Ferrothorn.

Set Details
========

* Maximum investment in Special Attack and Speed is used to make Omastar as fast and strong as possible.
* A Modest nature is used to further increase Omastar’s power, but a Timid nature can also be used in order to outspeed Choice Scarf Heracross and Excadrill after a single Shell Smash at the cost of always OHKOing Ferrothorn with a +2 Hidden Power Fire. Switch this - Timid first (or change the Ferrothorn example to something w/ HPump)
* The ability Weak Armor lowers Omastar’s Defense while doubling its Speed whenever it’s hit with a physical attack. You're just stating what it does here. Why is this useful for Omastar?
* The Air Balloon is used to make sure Omastar can safely set up against Ground-types like Excadrill and Diggersby.

Usage Tips
========

* Talk about using it in the Ground matchup specifically (how to enable the sweep - you don't need Webs to do this)
* Make sure to preserve Omastar's Air Balloon so that it can safely set up Shell Smash against Ground-types like Excadrill.
* Try setting up Sticky Web with Shuckle to allow Omastar to outspeed Excadrill in sand after a Shell Smash. This isn't a usage tip for Omastar.
* Remove or weaken Omastar's checks such as Dugtrio and Mega Scizor before setting up with Omastar. Add in defensive checks, not just offensive ones
* Keep Omastar away from status conditions such as paralysis and poison, since paralysis can make Omastar unable to outspeed common threats after Shell Smash and poison wears it down very quickly.
* Be wary of the Defense drops Omastar gets from Weak Armor, as it makes it more susceptible to being revenge killed.
* Preserving Omastar's HP throughout the battle as it usually only gets one opportunity to set up
* Mention some opportunities when Omastar has a chance to set up SS safely, and when it doesn't (such as vs slower Pokemon as the reduced defenses leaves it very weak)

Team Options
========

* Shuckle can set up Sticky Web for Omastar, allowing it to outspeed Excadrill in sand after a Shell Smash. It can also Encore passive Pokemon to give Omastar an easier setup opportunity. Probably mention the downside to doing this as well. It gives Omastar less opportunities to set up against slower Pokemon as it'll have -1 defenses if it outspeeds the foe before clicking SS.
* Terrakion is able to break past special walls like Chansey and Mantine that can wall Omastar. In return, Omastar can beat bulky Ground-types like Hippowdon and Gastrodon.
* Tyranitar can trap revenge killers like Choice Scarf Gengar and Latios that outspeed Omastar after a Shell Smash, and can give Omastar increased Special Defense with Sand Stream for an easier setup opportunity.
* Mega Diancie can bounce back status moves like Thunder Wave and Toxic, and is able to check Fighting-types like Keldeo and Breloom for Omastar.
* Alolan Golem is able to trap bulky Steel-types like Empoleon and Celesteela that Omastar can't KO in a single hit. In return, Omastar can switch into Ground-type attacks with its Air Balloon.
* Rhyperior can check revenge killers like Choice Scarf Terrakion and Landorus-T that can outspeed Omastar after a Shell Smash, as well as Pokemon with priority attacks like Bisharp and Mega Scizor.

* Focus Sash is an option to make sure Omastar can always set up at full health. But Rock isn't able to reliably keep entry hazards away, and Air Balloon gives it a stronger presence in the Ground matchup.
* Waterium Z can be used to break past defensive Pokemon that a +2 Hydro Pump would only 2HKO, such as Porygon2, Celesteela, and Jirachi. However, this would come at the cost of the Ground immunity it receives with Air Balloon, which is crucial for setting up Shell Smash against Ground teams.

* Its part Water typing makes it an important asset in the Ground matchup, being able to check Ground-types like Hippowdon, Landorus, and Mamoswine. It isn't really the typing alone that gives him the ability to check Ground-types, it's its STAB move in Hydro Pump that does.

* Its part Water typing makes it an important asset in the Ground matchup, being able to check Ground-types like Hippowdon, Landorus, and Mamoswine. It also grants a notably Steel and Water-type neutrality
* Its high Defense stat allows it to survive at least one physical hit as it sets up. Combine this with the next bullet; "With it's high Defense, Omastar can easily live physical hits to take advantage of it's ability Weak Armor, granting it additional speed boosts to compensate for it's mediocre base Speed" or something like that
* With its ability Weak Armor, its Speed gets doubled whenever it’s hit by a contact move, which, when paired with a Shell Smash, will grant it +4 Speed. Talk about why +4 speed is important; Omastar is slow as shit and that boosts lets it outrun key threats like sand rush exca
* Unfortunately, it has a terrible Special Defense stat, making it difficult to set up against special attackers like Landorus and Latios. It's Special Defense stat isn't terrible, just mediocre, and plenty serviceable under Sand if you're setting up on something faster than you that isn't taking advantage of the Shell Smash SpD drop. I'd maybe instead talk about how this mediocre Special Defense makes Omastar easy to revenge kill at -1 / risky to set up on slower special attackers
* After a single Shell Smash, it still ends up being outsped by common Choice Scarf Pokemon like Nihilego and Victini due to its low 55 base Speed.
* Its Rock / Water typing grants it a 4x weakness to Grass-type attacks, as well as other common attacking types like Ground, Fighting, and Electric.
* Omastar is consistently walled by specially defensive Pokemon like Chansey and Mantine.

* Talk Omastar's limited effectiveness outside of a couple matchups
* Talk about Omastar having to choose which matchups to secure with it's limited movepool (choosing between HP Grass and HP Fire)

* Hidden Power Fire is an option over Hidden Power Grass in order to hit Steel-types like Mega Scizor and Ferrothorn.

* You should draw a clear line between the sets you're advocating either here in the moves section. There's a huge difference in the functionality between an Groundbreaker Omastar that runs Hidden Power [Grass] and Ice Beam and a Steelbreaker one that uses Hidden Power [Fire]
* I question the inclusion of Earth Power here, and would move it to either Other Options or at least take it off the main set since it hits only precisely one target and you don't talk about Omastar's use against Water / Poison anywhere else

Set Details

* Maximum investment in Special Attack and Speed is used to make Omastar as fast and strong as possible.
* A Timid nature is used to outspeed Choice Scarf Heracross and Excadrill after a Shell Smash, but a Modest nature can also be used to always OHKO Ferrothorn with a +2 Hidden Power Fire. Again, you NEED to clarify what sets use what nature since the Nature is (seemingly) tied to what targets you're trying to hit

Usage Tips
========

* Make sure to preserve Omastar's Air Balloon so that it can safely set up Shell Smash against Ground-types like Excadrill.
* Remove or weaken Omastar's checks such as Dugtrio, Celesteela, and Mega Scizor before setting up with Omastar. You don't need to remove Dugtrio, just set up hazards first. Managing Dugtrio should also be it's own bullet since beating Ground teams is basically Omastar's entire purpose.
* Keep Omastar away from status conditions such as paralysis and poison, since paralysis can make Omastar unable to outspeed common threats after Shell Smash and poison wears it down very quickly. Poison is not worth mentioning
* Preserve Omastar's health so that it can set up with Shell Smash easier. This is very vague and doesn't really speak to it's usage. Instead say something like "Make sure to keep Omastar off the field until it's time to use Shell Smash, as chip damage limits its opportunities to set up against and can jeopardize it's Air Balloon". You can also talk about how it makes Omastar easier to revenge kill by Scizor-M in the steel matchup
* It's typically a good idea to set up with Omastar against a Pokemon locked into a Ground-type attack, such as Excadrill and Mamoswine. However, it's not advised to set up against a slower Pokemon, since Omastar is at risk of taking heavy damage with its -1 defenses.

* Talk about Omastar's usage in the Ground matchup
* Talk about Omastar's usage in the Steel matchup
* Maybe talk about how to Use Omastar in matchups where it isn't expected to setup and instead performs a different role (Ground-type check with Air Balloon, general Special Attacker, etc)

Team Options

Cut the first part of this bullet it's useless. You can just talk Mega Diancie's use as a general mixed offensive powerhouse
* Alolan Golem is able to trap bulky Steel-types like Empoleon and Celesteela that Omastar can't KO in a single hit. In return, Omastar can switch into Ground-type attacks with its Air Balloon. Is the second half of this bullet really something you'd ever recommend? Also I'd talk about trapping Ferrothorn, since doing so lets an Omastar without HP Fire put pressure on Steel
* Rhyperior can check revenge killers like Choice Scarf Terrakion and Landorus-T that outspeed Omastar after a Shell Smash, as well as Pokemon with priority attacks like Bisharp and Mega Scizor. The latter isn't something that threatens Omastar unless it's Balloon is popped, in which case it likely has Weak Armor to outspeed Lando-T

**Water-types**: Mantine, Suicune, and Azumarill are able to survive all of Omastar's attacks after a Shell Smash, and can wear it down through Scald burns. Specify Sap Sipper azumarill, since Belly Drum Azu gets KOd by HP Grass after rocks

**Priority Attacks**: Breloom, Bisharp, and Mega Scizor can OHKO Omastar after a Shell Smash with their priority STAB moves. Mention how defense drops from Shell Smash and Weak Armor make Omastar more vulnerable to priority

**Revenge Killers**: Choice Scarf Terrakion, Landorus-T, and Victini can outspeed Omastar after a Shell Smash and OHKO it. However, Landorus-T can only revenge kill it if its Air Balloon is popped. Again I'd replace Lando-T as an example, since it only applies if Air Balloon is popped.

**Specially Defensive Pokemon**: Chansey, Mega Venusaur, and Celesteela can survive any of Omastar's attacks and slowly wear it down.
Looks solid QC 2/3

Should Hidden Power Fire really be slashed? I feel like you can cover Steel in other ways but Omastar's ability to really mess up Ground with Hidden Power Grass is very valuable if you're going to be using Omastar.

Thoughts on Hidden Power Electric in OO? Since Haze Toxapex is relatively rare nowadays, that can be a surprising way to mess up Water teams (and Flying of course).

Looks good to me. QC 3/3

Rock
========

Omastar is one of Rock’s best special sweepers due thanks (Due is usually used to list a negative, thanks is used to list a positive) to having access to Shell Smash, allowing it to serve as an effective win-condition win condition ("win condition" does not need a hyphen) in matchups like Ground and Steel. Its part Water typing makes it an important asset in the Ground matchup, being able to check Ground-types like Hippowdon, Landorus, and Mamoswine. It also gives Omastar a helpful neutralities neutrality ("neutralities" isn't a word so I reworded this) Steel and Water-type attacks. With it's high Defense, Omastar can easily live physical hits to take advantage of its ability Weak Armor, granting it +4 Speed when combined with a Shell Smash. This allows it to outspeed fast threats such as Sand Rush Excadrill and Choice Scarf Latios. Unfortunately, it has a terrible Special Defense stat, forcing it to rely on sand to set up against most special attackers, and leaving it vulnerable to being revenge killed by Choice Scarf Latios and Gengar. After a single Shell Smash, it still ends up being outsped by common Choice Scarf Pokemon like Nihilego and Victini due to its low 55 base Speed base 55 Speed. ("base" always comes before the stat number and the stat name) Its Rock / Water typing grants gives (grants in my eyes describes a positive so I changed the word. You don't have to implement this if you don't want to) it a 4x weakness to Grass-type attacks, as well as other common attacking types like Ground, Fighting, and Electric. Omastar is consistently walled by specially defensive Pokemon like Chansey and Mantine. . (<- make sure you don't miss this extra period, very easy to miss) Omastar finds a lot of difficulty as a setup sweeper in matchups outside of Ground and Steel.

Moves

Shell Smash is Omastar’s most important move, doubling its Attack, Special Attack, and Speed while reducing its Defense and Special Defense, allowing it to become a prominent sweeper against Ground teams. Hydro Pump is Omastar’s most powerful Water STAB and is used to hit Ground-types like Hippowdon and Mamoswine Ice Beam is good coverage for hitting Dragon-, Grass-, Dragon, Grass (The way I like to remember this is that you're adding on "-type" rather than "Dragon- + type, so the hyphen isn't needed iirc) and Flying-types like Garchomp, Tapu Bulu, and Landorus. Hidden Power Grass gives Omastar the ability to effectively handle Ground teams, being able to OHKO Ground-types that are immune to Hydro Pump such as Seismitoad and Gastrodon after a Shell Smash.

Set Details
========

Maximum investment in Special Attack and Speed is used to make Omastar as fast and strong as possible. A Timid nature is used if Omastar is running Hidden Power Fire, allowing it to outspeed Choice Scarf Excadrill. However, a Modest nature can also be used to give Omastar extra power, allowing it to always OHKO Mega Charizard Y from full health with Hydro Pump. The ability Weak Armor lowers Omastar’s Defense while doubling its Speed whenever it’s hit with a physical attack, allowing it to outspeed Excadrill under sand without the need of Sticky Web. The Air Balloon is used to make sure Omastar can safely set up against Ground-types like Excadrill and Diggersby. It also makes sure it doesn't get easily revenge killed by Pokemon with Ground coverage, such as Choice Scarf Landorus-T or Alolan Sandslash.

Usage Tips
========

Omastar is best used as a late-game sweeper against Ground teams once Dugtrio's Focus Sash has been broken by Stealth Rock. In the Steel matchup, Omastar should be used to sweep once priority users like Bisharp and Mega Scizor are defeated. Make sure to preserve Omastar's Air Balloon so that it can safely set up Shell Smash against Ground-types like Excadrill. Remove or weaken Omastar's checks such as Celesteela, Ferrothorn, and Mega Scizor before setting up with Omastar. Against Ground teams, make sure to get up Stealth Rock to break Dugtrio's Focus Sash, since it can otherwise survive a hit and revenge kill Omastar with Reversal. Keep Omastar away from status conditions such as paralysis and poison, since paralysis can make Omastar unable to outspeed common threats after Shell Smash. Make sure to keep Omastar healthy, since chip damage makes it more difficult to safely set up with Shell Smash, and losing its Air Balloon takes away its ability to set up against Ground-types. It's typically a good idea to set up with Omastar against a Pokemon locked into a Ground-type attack, such as Excadrill and Mamoswine. However, it's not advised to set up against a slower Pokemon, since Omastar is at risk of taking heavy damage with its -1 defenses. In matchups such as Flying, Omastar is intended more as a safe check to Ground-types like Landorus-T and Gliscor, rather than as a setup sweeper.

Team Options
========

Shuckle can set up Sticky Web for Omastar, allowing it to outspeed fast revenge killers after a Shell Smash, although this isn't as effective against slower Pokemon, since Omastar finds difficulty setting up against them due to the defensive decreases from Shell Smash. It can also Encore passive Pokemon to give Omastar an easier setup opportunity. Terrakion is able to break past special walls like Chansey and Mantine that can wall Omastar. In return, Omastar can beat bulky Ground-types like Hippowdon and Gastrodon. Tyranitar can trap revenge killers like Choice Scarf Gengar and Latios that outspeed Omastar after a Shell Smash, and can give Omastar increased Special Defense with Sand Stream for an easier setup opportunity. Mega Diancie is a powerful mixed attacker that can check Fighting-types like Keldeo and Breloom for Omastar. Alolan Golem is able to trap bulky Steel-types like Empoleon and Celesteela that Omastar can't KO in a single hit. It can also trap Ferrothorn and Mega Scizor, allowing Omastar to sweep Steel teams more easily.

However, it has very little use outside of this matchup, and would come at the cost of Ice Beam to hit Dragon-types like Garchomp and Latias. Hidden Power Fire can be used check Steel-types like Ferrothorn and Mega Scizor. However, this would come at the cost of Hidden Power Grass, and the ability to defeat Water-immune Ground-types like Seismitoad and Gastrodon. Hidden Power Electric can allow Omastar to check Water-types such as non-Haze Toxapex, Mantine, and Gyarados. But similarly to Hidden Power Fire, it would require replacing Hidden Power Grass and hindering Omastar's effectiveness in the Ground matchup.

**Priority Attacks**: Breloom, Bisharp, and Mega Scizor can OHKO Omastar after a Shell Smash with their priority STAB moves. The defense Defense (stats are always capitalized) decreases from Weak Armor also contribute to this problem.

**Revenge Killers**: Choice Scarf Terrakion, Gengar, and Victini can outspeed Omastar after a Shell Smash and OHKO it. However, Landorus-T can only revenge kill it if its Air Balloon is popped.

You do great on grammar, very few errors, however I would use "such as" more as you use the term "like" a lot and you only used "such as" once. It just makes the article flow better. The only thing I felt a little iffy on here myself was the Dragon-, Ground-, Fighting-type sentence so I'd hold off on implementing my change until someone confirms that, I'm just going off of what I read in the Smogon spelling and grammar thread.

"When a type name is directly followed by the word "type", a hyphen is used (Normal-type)."

So I've found out it is correct to use the hyphens when part of a list, so disregard that change.
