I suggest randomizing the Mon until one that has never been OU appears (which will often be very soon). Yes, it would eventually mean having to give Huge Power to something like Delibird in order to make it viable, but I believe the community is wise enough to not abuse broken abilities and moves too much.

Pick something from UU to NU. PU and below is *generally* too weak to be able to buff to National Dex OU levels with 1 adjustment. Accelgor for example, imo almost failed spectacularly, but Sticky Web is luckily strong enough a niche that it *may* be viable as a setter. I will also say, the arbitrary picking and choosing of what submissions make it to voting is weird. I'd be pressed if I gave up time to craft a submission for a mod and I get skipped over because vibes. Needs to be very clear explanations on what is going on there.

Thanks for the feedback I will make sure we are clearer about this from next time.

Actually I was talking about this mod to others, and we agreed on that multiple mons at once may be a better, again I’m not sure what the plan is but it’ll take years if not.

This week there will be 2 pokemon to make buff and u can buff both of them if u want. First pokemon is Flygon and second pokemon will be Braviary.

:sv/flygon:
Pokemon: Flygon
Buff Type: Ability
Change: Flygon now gets the hidden ability Tinted Lens
Reasoning: Flygon is a great scarf mon, but has trouble competing with many other ground type sweepers, such as lando-t and garchomp. It can now use tinted lens to break a lot of tanky mons. I could also definetely see flygon doing better with a dragon dance set, because of its new potent ability.

:sv/braviary:
Pokemon: Braviary
Buff Type: Stat Boost
Change: +20 Speed, +20 Defense
Reasoning: Now can outspeed mons like Kyurem and the Rotoms, as well as even tank a diamond storm from mega diancie (with enough hp investment and a little defense investment).

:flygon:
Buff type: Ability.
Change: +Tinted Lens.

This is one of the few abilities that make sense on Flygon and at the same time help it. Flygon's stats are very poor for OU, however the STABs combo is powerful. With Dragon Dance, it can achieve this type of things if its lucky with Loaded Dice:

+1 252+ Atk Tinted Lens Flygon Scale Shot (5 hits) vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Corviknight: 200-240 (50.1 - 60.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ Atk Flygon Scale Shot (5 hits) vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Landorus-Therian: 210-245 (54.9 - 64.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+1 252+ Atk Tinted Lens Flygon Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Ogerpon-Wellspring: 258-306 (85.7 - 101.6%) -- 87.5% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

It still won,t be a good Mon, but it will hit several resists much harder, especially levitating (sometimes with Balloon) steels.

:braviary:
Buff type: Ability.
Change: Keen Eye is replaced by Tough Claws.

Same stuff here, Tough Claws increases Braviary's power a lot and allows either breaking defensie cores with Band or sweeping with Scarf vs weakened offensive teams.

:braviary_hisui: (Idk if this one is included).
Buff type: Move.
Change: Moonblast.

Moonblast allows Hisuian Braviary to hit Dark types without risking Hurricane or using some suboptimal moves like CC (on a Special Attacker) or Vacuum Wave. Both Tinted Lens and Sheer Force sets can benefit from this move.

Edit: Lmao, got ninja'd by the above user. Deleting Flygon's submission, will support his one.

Hisuian Braviary is not allowed only normal one is

Pokemon: Flygon
Buff Type: Ability
New Ability: Sand Stream
Reasoning: From its first Pokedex entry, in Pokemon Sapphire: "Flygon whips up a sandstorm by flapping its wings. [...]"

This isn't a one-off either. Most of this Pokemon's dex entries mention how it whips up a sandstorm with its wings. we might as well take advantage of that fact and give it the ability that allows it to do so.

Pokemon: Braviary
Buff Type: Ability
New Ability: Contrary
Reasoning: Contrary Superpower while still giving it the +1 Attack from Intimidate that Defiant currently does.

Pokemon: Flygon
Buff Type: Stats
Change: +15 Atk, +20 Speed
Reasoning: Flygon is regularly outclassed by its fellow dragon brethren, giving a little boost in atk and speed makes it an excellent ddance user, can still get checked by other mon's such as Koko, Weavile, Greninja, and still frail from priority.

Pokemon: Braviary (soon)
Buff Type:
Change:
Reasoning:

:sv/flygon:
Pokemon: Flygon
Buff Type: Ability
Change: Flygon now gets Sheer Force as it’s Hidden Ability
Reasoning: Similarly to Tinted Lens above, it gives Flygon a strong boost to break tanky opponents. Unlike Landorus Incarnate, Flygon’s 80 Special Attack is low enough to make it not too powerful, but Earth Power STAB allows it to become a special wallbreaker, making it more flexible for either physical or special depending on the team’s needs.

:sv/braviary:
Pokemon: Braviary
Buff Type: Stats
Change: Braviary gains +20 HP and +20 SpD (to 120 HP and 95 SpD respectively)
Reasoning: There are not a lot of viable Flying-type Pokémon with a high special bulk, with Zapdos being the prime example of a viable one. Braviary has more physical firepower and Bulk Up can help patch the lower Defense, making it a strong set up wallbreaker, or a mixed wall with Defog support.

:sv/flygon:
Pokemon: Flygon
Change: Flygon Gains Bulk Up
Reasoning: I believe that giving flygon bulk up will help with its physical tanking abilities as well as its overall damage dealing capabilities. Allowing it to do much better than one would imagine

:sv/braviary:
Pokemon:Braviary
Buff type: Ability
Change: Keen Eye becomes Moxie
Reasoning: It gives Braviary some much needed tempo that doesnt rely on a stat being lowered. And generally will allow it to better sweep.

:bw/flygon:
Pokemon: Flygon
Buff Type: Ability
Change: Flygon receives Dragonize :feraligatr-mega: as a secondary ability.
Reasoning: This buff gives Flygon much better secondary Dragon STAB on offensive sets while giving set diversity, allowing for Special sets with Boomburst or Physical DDance sets with Facade or Double-Edge

:bw/braviary:
Pokemon: Braviary
Buff Type: Stats
Change: +20 SpA / +20 Spe (100/123/75/77/75/100)
Reasoning: Braviary's base kit with its current stats is pretty underwhelming, it can barely utilize its powerful ability, Sheer Force, and has middling speed. This buff aims to fix those problems by first giving it a nice baseline 100 Spe stat. The SpA boost might seem unconventional, but it opens up good opportunities for mixed attacking with SFLO boosted Hurricane and Heat Wave.

Pokemon: Braviary
Buff type: Move
Change: Braviary gets Extreme Speed
Explanation: Extreme Speed allows it to be more of a threat after some Bulk Ups by negating its lackluster base 80 speed.

Pokemon:
Flygon
Buff Type: Ability
Change: Flygon gets Punk Rock
Explanation: Flygon gets access to quite a few sound moves (but mainly Boomburst), which could make it a decent mixed attacker or pure special attacker.
