Grats to God of Llamas and newcomer Nickos

And there is also a tiebreaker between Pika Xreme and God of Llamas for Meganium. So like vote for whichever of the two should win.

And a slate that has been wanted for the LONGEST while shall surface!

The worst of the worst! Pokemon made to intentionally scrape the bottom of the barrel! But not anymore! These iconic badmons shall rise up to take the meta by storm! I'd include more, but that might be sequel worthy!

Description: The whole concept is based on our beloved duck being the master of crits. I stil have to find a find a not very accurate move that the accuracy boost can allow to abuse.

Justification: Ground/Electric is a very interesting type combination, it’s a shame that Stunfisk sucks. With Regenerator like in Theorymon, a recovery move and more hazards to set, this strange fish becomes the king of annoyers, being able to inflict statuses and stall opponents.
A calc:

Delibird [Optimized]

Abilities: Vital Spirit / Hustle / Snow Warning
Stats: 60/100/70/120/70/120 (530 BST)
Movepool Additions: Brave Bird, Icicle Crash, Taunt, Memento, Skill Swap
Summary of Changes: +15 HP, +45 Atk, +25 Def, +55 SpA, +25 SpD, +55 Spe
Description: Delibird becomes a reliable suicide lead thanks to its new blazing base speed of 120. It has multiple options: either Aurora Veil or Spikes followed by Memento or Destiny Bond, or even firing off powerful attacks thanks to Hustle before being KOed. However, it cannot touch Steel-types whatsoever due to its crowded movepool, and has a terrible defensive typing that prevents it from living up to its fullest potential.

Dunsparce [Optimized]

Abilities: Serene Grace / Filter / Unaware
Stats: 120/90/90/85/100/45 (530 BST)
Movepool Additions: Heal Bell, Shifting Plates (Ground-type Dragon Tail clone)
Summary of Changes: +20 HP, +20 Atk, +20 Def, +20 SpA, +35 SpD
Description: Dunsparce is a defensive behemoth, with incredibly large defenses compounded with Unaware. It can spread paralysis and poison with ease, as well as go more on the offensive thanks to its good setup moves in Coil and Calm Mind combined with its expansive movepool. However, Dunsparce is very slow, requiring it to take a hit, and has an awkward defensive typing that leaves it open to common Ice-type and Fighting-type coverage.

Farfetch'd [Optimized]

Ability: Keen Eye / Defiant / Sniper
Stats: 77/130/70/58/87/105 (527 BST)
Movepool Additions: Dark Pulse, Sucker Punch, Poison Jab
Summary of Changes: +15 HP, +40 Atk, +15 Def, +25 SpD, +45 Spe
Description: Farfetch'd is a offensive force to be reckoned with - thanks to its signature item, the Stick, it can deal incredible damage to the opponent thanks to its enhanced Attack. However, it has abysmal defensive stats, and struggles somewhat against bulky Steel-types that are not weak to Dark.

Spinda [Optimized]

Ability:
Own Tempo / Comatose / Contrary
Stats: 110/100/80/70/80/90 (530 BST)
Movepool Additions: Hammer Arm, Mach Punch, Bulk Up
Summary of Changes: +50 HP, +40 Atk, +20 Def, +10 SpA, +20 SpD, +30 Spe
Description: Spinda, with its boosted stats and added Fighting STAB, can ravage teams that lack a Ghost-type thanks to its Contrary-assisted Superpowers allowing it to gain attack and defense boosts very quickly. It can also run a more defensive Bulk Up set with Comatose to avoid any burns or other crippling status. Its speed tier is average at best, though, and without bosots, Spinda is offensively underwhelming.

Stunfisk [Optimized]

Ability: Poison Point / Levitate / Rough Skin
Stats: 129/76/94/101/99/32 (531 BST)
Movepool Additions: Slack Off
Summary of Changes: +20 HP, +10 Atk, +10 Def, +20 SpA
Description: Stunfisk, with its new Ground/Poison typing, can distinguish itself much more as a mixed wall that both resists Fighting and is immune to Toxic and Ground. It has quite a few ways to chip or cripple the opponent, having Sludge Bomb, Discharge, Scald, and Stealth Rock in its arsenal. However, its offensive presence is questionable at best, and it is threatened greatly by Ice and Psychic-type STAB and coverage.

Delibird [Optimised]
Abilities:
Vital Spirit / Hustle (Santa Stream)
New Ability: Santa Stream - A mysterious snowstorm is protecting Ice-type Pokémon!
Santa Stream causes moves that would be super-effective to Ice types to do neutral damage instead. It also activates all the effects of Hail. Santa Stream can only be overwritten by Desolate Land, Primordial Sea or Delta Stream (or any other ability that would be a variation of these three). Resets upon switching out.
Stats: 45 HP / 55 Atk / 45 Def / 115 SpA / 45 SpD / 125 Spe ( +50 SpA, +50 Spe) BST 430
Added Moves:
Aurora Veil, Celebrate, Air Slash, Focus Blast, Roost, Nasty Plot, Season's Greetings
New Move: Season's Greetings |
|
| --% Accuracy | 10 PP | +1 Priority | Delibird switches out and leaves a gift for the Pokémon that is being switched into battle. The gift is a unique entry hazard that's removed upon switch-in and has the effect of either: Heal Bell, Tailwind, Trick Room, Reflect/Light Screen, Recover, the rainbow from Water Pledge + Fire Pledge; or raises a random stat (except accuracy and evasion) by 1 stage.
Justification: I'm not fond of making up my own abilities to stick on Pokémon but Delibird's a special snowflake. I get the joke of having either Vital Spirit or Insomnia but nonetheless it's quite pointless. Santa Stream kills weather, lets Delibird spam Blizzard and do chip damage to everything that's not an Ice type. Where Articuno has more bulk to its name, Delibird opts for raw power. Nasty Plot to try and be a wallbreaker, or Z-Celebrate to try and mitigte its awful bulk (although it's so awful that +1 still doesn't do it justice). Season's Greetings is meant to be a gimmick, it lets Delibird pivot but doesn't do damage. It's still weak to Stealth Rock, and what it doesnt kill will probably kill it.

Dunsparce [Optimized]
Typing:
/
**
Abilities:
Serene Grace / Unaware / Short Flight**
Stats: HP 120 Atk 80 Def 105 SpA 65 SpD 100 Spe 45 BST 515
Movepool Additions: U-turn, Soil*, Rapid Spin
Summary of Changes: +20 HP +10 Atk +35 Def +35 SpD
Description: When I see it's the time to optimize Dunsparce, I don't intend to force him to become a Sweeper or some sort of lame ParaFlinch Mon like Game Freak has been trying to do (Glare, Serene Grace, tons of flinching moves...), I want to make it an awesome utility Pokémon, the stat boosts are mainly on its bulk and slightly on its Attack, so it isn't extremely passive like Pyukumuku, anyway, Unaware coupled with its new bulk lets it serve as a pretty amazing wall, having now a slow U-turn to gain momentum and bring a partner safely, and also a form of reliable recovery in Roost (Yes, it learns Roost naturally), I was comparing it to Pyukumuku on the Unaware regard, just like Pyuku sometimes uses the combination of Soak+Toxic, Dunsparce has the option to do the same, replacing Soak with Soil. Now in regard of the custom ability, Short Flight, is a nod to its dex entry, where it states that it has the ability to fly for a short while, this ability gives Dunsparce the Ground/Flying upon switch in, typing that's known to be really solid, but once the Pokémon needs to use Roost to recover health, the Flying type is gone, this lets Dunsparce be immune to Spikes and Toxic Spikes and be able to pivot on Ground attacks, unlike the Unaware variant, losing the flying-type may sound like a bad idea, however, this enables Dunsparce to wall a lot of Pokémon whose only way of dealing with Bulky Ground-types is through weak Ice-type coverage, I think this one ability is the best possible one when running Rapid Spin, too. As a summary, this Pokémon has a nice movepool, abilities and bulk to serve as a utility Pokémon, being able to wall and stop sweeps with Unaware and Glare, avoiding Spikes/Toxic Spikes with Short Flight and being able to Rapid Spin them away (and even set Stealth Rock after, because it actually learns it) while simultaneously being able to wall Pokémon like Tapu Koko, Landorus-T and others after simply Roosting off the damage they may have done, and in return, cripple them or gaining momentum with a slow U-turn.

Soil*: Basically Soak, but instead of changing the foe's typing to Water, it changes it to Ground-type
Short Flight**: Upon switch-in, the Flying-type will be added to this Pokémon (resulting in a Ground/Flying), it will remain with that typing until it uses Roost (Its only way of recovering health reliably), then it will lose the Flying-type and won't recover it until it switches out, lacking this ability, Dunsparce's typing is pure Ground.

Delibird [Optimized]

Abilities: Vital Spirit / Hustle / Prankster
Stats: 80/55/80/115/80/125 (535 BST)
Movepool Additions: Taunt, Hurricane, Air Slash, Roost, Focus Blast, Calm Mind
Summary of Changes: +35 HP, +35 Def, +50 SpA, +35 SpD, +50 Spe
Description: Delibird can now function as either a suicide lead with Prankster Spikes, Taunt and Destiny Bond, or as a quick revenge killer with its much improved speed and special attack. Giving Delibird some actual special flying STABs and Focus Blast allows it to hit fairly hard.

Dunsparce [Optimized]

Abilities: Serene Grace / Levitate
Stats: 110/110/100/65/95/45 (525 BST)
Movepool Additions: Gunk Shot, Toxic Spikes, Stone Edge, Psychic Fangs
Summary of Changes: +10 HP, +40 Atk, +30 Def, +30 SpD
Description: Dunsparce can now more readily utilize Coil, as a bulky set-up sweeper. Boosting Gunk Shots accuracy, while powering up Earthquake and whatever coverage one chooses to run. Dunsparce also becomes a solid wall with interesting resistances to fairy, fighting, rock, bug, poison and an electric immunity. Levitate helps nulify the ground weakness, and Dunsparce can set-up Toxic Spikes and/or Stealth Rocks on things that can't touch it, such as Tapu Koko. Dunsparce already has reliable recovery too in Roost.

Farfetch'd [Optimized]

Ability: Keen Eye / Defiant / Reckless
Stats: 62/120/90/58/77/125 (532 BST)
Movepool Additions: Wood Hammer, Close Combat, Wild Charge
Summary of Changes: +10 HP, +30 Atk, +35 Def, +15 SpD, +65 Spe
Description: Farfetch'd can now actually hit incredibly hard with Reckless boosted Double Edge and Wood Hammer on top of a solid 120 base attack. Close Combat and Wild Charge can both be used to cover certain types (Steel and Flying) as well. Farfetch'd already has Sword Dance to boost, but on top of a major speed boost, can be a powerful late game sweeper. As far as items go, STAB Leaf Blade pairs well with Stick, and can be used in conjunction with the other moves hoping for a bit of luck. Z-fight also works well with Close Combat to nail the steel types that wall both of Farfetch'd STABs.

Spinda [Optimized]

Ability: Own Tempo / Tangled Feet / Contrary
Stats: 100/110/90/60/90/75 (530 BST)
Movepool Additions: Hammer Arm, Ice Hammer, Knock Off, Slack Off,
Summary of Changes: +40 HP, +50 Atk, +30 Def, +30 SpD, +15 Spe
Description: Spinda already has a pretty solid movepool, and Contrary is a great ability, the main thing Spinda needs are actual stats. Boosting Spinda's bulk quite a bit allows it to take hits now, on top of boosting it's defense with Super Power. The added attack allows Spinda to do some actual damage, while also able to boost with Super Power. The small added speed helps, as Spinda can now boost it's speed with either Hammer Arm or Ice Hammer, Ice Hammer being the better choice as one will already be running a fighting move in Super Power. Knock Off is for a solid way to hit ghosts, while Slack Off allows Spinda to recover, especially useful after getting a couple defense boosts.

Stunfisk [Optimized]

Ability: Static / Limber / Regenerator
Stats: 109/66/104/101/114/32 (526 BST)
Movepool Additions: Shore Up, Parabolic Charge, Haze, Mud Flop*
*Mud Flop:
Ground type Volt Switch clone.
Summary of Changes: +20 Def, +20 SpA, +15 SpD
Description: Stunfisk, becomes a fantastic pivot with upgraded defenses on it's already decent bulk. Able to throw up Stealth Rocks, recover and take some hits with Shore Up, stop set-up with haze or just throw out some damage. Improved special attack allows Stunfisk to become a bit less passive, and with two pivoting moves, Mud Flop and Volt Switch, Stunfisk can keep momentum while healing itself with Regenerator.

*All Justifications Done

Name: Farfetch'd [Optimized]
Stats: 62/125/65/58/72/103 (+10 HP, +35 Atk, +10 Def, + 10 SpD +43 Spe, BST 485)
Ability: Sniper/Inner Focus (HA: Defiant)
Typing:

New Moves:
Blaze Kick, Dragon Dance, Drill Peck, Extreme Speed, Fake Out, Flare Blitz, Grass Whistle, Glare, High Jump Kick, Razor Leaf, Trick, Wood Hammer
Justification: Farfetch’d, despite receiving a rather large boost to its Attack, still is an absolutely terrible Pokémon. 90 base Attack is underwhelming, and its other stats are atrocious. While Farfetch’d’s bulk is only marginally improved, it is certainly a lot faster than it used to be. Farfetch’d now outspends Garchomp and base 100s such as Mew, Volcarona, and Zygarde. 125 Attack is also good for a Pokémon as fast as Farfetch’d. Sniper is a fitting replacement for Keen Eye that increases the power of critical hits, making it viable to run a Stick set with Farfetch’d. Farfetch'd also gets improved coverage thanks to the addition of several Grass- and Fire-type moves. Farfetch’d can also be an effective status spreader, using Glare or Grass Whistle to help out a teammate or set up, despite Grass Whistle’s low accuracy. Dragon Dance gives Farfetch’d another way to set up, while Extreme Speed gives Farfetch’d useful priority. While Farfetch’d is still incredibly frail, its newly found offensive capabilities help it become viable in the OU metagame.

Name: Dunsparce [Optimized]
Stats: 100/60/100/75/95/90 (+5 Atk, +30 Def, +25 SpA,+30 SpD, +45 Spe, BST 550)
Ability: Serene Grace/Natural Cure (HA: Rattled)
Typing:

New Moves: Charm, Encore, Moonblast, Spikes, Toxic Spikes
Justification: Dunsparce actually isn’t a terrible Pokémon, but has overall lacking stats and a poor typing. The addition of a Fairy-typing removes Dunsparme’s Fighting weakness, giving Dunsparce only two weaknesses in exchange for a resistance and two immunities. Dunsparce’s bulk has been increased to appropriate levels, while it also gains a 90 base Speed tier. This allows it to outpace prominent defensive Pokémon such as Clefable, Celesteela, Tyranitar, Tapu Bulu, Heatran, Tapu Fini, and Rotom-W. Natural Cure compliments Dunsparce’s status as a bulky Pokémon, allowing it to switch into status freely and giving unpredictability in conjunction with Serene Grace. Dunsparce also gains access to every entry hazard, Charm, and Encore to fully abuse its defensive role, alongside already having reliable recovery in Roost. Dunsparce also receives Moonblast and a usable (though still bad) Special Attack stat, preventing it from being total Taunt bait.

Name: Delibird [Optimized]
Stats: 80/55/45/125/115/97 (+35 HP, +60 SpA, +70 SpD, +22 Spe, BST 517)
Ability: Hustle/Refrigerate (HA: Insomnia)
Typing:

New Moves:
Air Slash, Assist, Boomburst, Haze, Hurricane, Mean Look, Mind Reader, Nasty Plot, Play Nice, Safeguard, Soft-Boiled, Weather Ball, Wish
Justification: I had way too much making this one. I always though it was weird that Delibird was a suicide entry hazard setter, so I tried to give a new life while keeping some of its old role and adding some flavor.

“Delibird summons the power of the North Pole and finds the true Christmas spirit. His stats have been increased, giving him impressive Special Attack, decent Speed, and surprisingly good Special Defense. Delibird, having travelled many miles in the tough Arctic snow, gains the ability to turn any Normal attack into Ice with Refrigerate. HIs hearty laugh echoes through the valley in the form of Boomburst, a mighty 168 base power STAB that smites the many Dragon, Ground, and Flying Pokémon of the OU tier. Even top ranked behemoths such as Landorus-T, Zygarde, and Mega Latios fall to his icy winds. Delibird also gains access to the storms themselves in Hurricane, though he may opt to use Air Slash if he wishes for a more accurate strike. Mean Look, Mind Reader, Haze, Wish, Safeguard, Play Nice, and Soft-Boiled allow him to play defensive role, or give him more longevity. Delibird has also been studying the tricks of bad boys and girls, and has learned Nasty Plot in the process. Delibird can increase his Special Attack to tremendous levels easily crushing even the hardiest of Pokémon. While Delibird struggles against fast physical foes and sturdy resists such as Heatran, do not underestimmate the power of Delibird’s hailstorm."

Name: Spinda [Optimized]
Stats: 90/110/90/60/90/100 (+30 HP, +50 Atk, +30 Def, +30 SpD, +40 Spe, BST 540)
Ability:
Intimidate/Tangled Feet (HA: Contrary)
Typing:

New Moves: Close Combat, Hammer Arm, Mach Punch, Shadow Punch, Shadow Sneak, Swords Dance
Justification: Spinda, despite having a good movepool and a fantastic ability, was held back by its atrocious stats and poor typing. Spinda gains a sizable 50 point increase to his base Attack, letting him actually hit things without setup. This is complimented by increases to his Speed and bulk (a 540 BST also references his spinning, just as 360 did). Intimidate is a useful ability that adds to his overall unpredictability and allows him to run an Assault Vest set more effectively or set up easier. An additional Fighting-typing, coupled with high-powered moves that work well with Contrary, also give him more of an offensive presence. Swords Dance allows him to capitalize on switches, while Mach Punch gives him STAB priority. Finally, Ghost coverage is given to Spinda to hit Ghost-types hard, as they are immune to both of his STAB. Although he still has a poor defensive typing and mediocre stats, Spinda is able to power through unprepared teams with ease.

Name: Stunfisk [Optimized]
Stats: 109/66/109/101/104/12 (+25 Def, +20 SpA, +5 SpD, -20 Spe BST: 501)
Ability: Static/Storm Drain (HA: Sand Veil)
Typing:

New Moves: Aqua Ring, Charge, Ion Deluge, Shore Up, Volt Switch
Justification: Stunfisk, though not nearly as bad as the other Pokémon on this slate, still has mediocre bulk and poor offenses. Storm Drain is the highlight of this set, giving Stunfisk two immunities and four resistances. Stunfisk’s 109/109/104 defenses are also a major upgrade from its fellow Storm Drain user, Gastrodon. Stunfisk is also more physically inclined to separate the two. Shore Up gives Stunfisk reliable recovery, while Aqua Ring allows for even more staying power should it be set up. Volt Switch allows Stunfisk to be an even better pivot with its sluggish base 12 Speed and modest 101 base Special Attack. Charge gives Stunfisk the ability to power up its Volt Switch, while Ion Deluge gives Stunfisk an immunity to Normal-type moves. While Gastrodon still has a superior defensive typing, Stunfisk is more than able to differentiate itself from the sea slug.

Farfetch’d [Optimized]
Abilities
: Super Luck / Inner Focus / Defiant (HA)
Stats: 70 HP / 110 Atk / 70 Def / 58 SpA / 77 SpD / 100 Spe | BST: 485
Added Moves: Drill Run, Cross Chop, Stone Edge, Sacred Sword
Summary of Changes: +18 HP, +20 Atk, +15 Def, +15 SpD, +40 Spe

Poor Farfetch’d, there are LC Pokemon with better stats than you. Normal/Flying is also well overdone, and base 60 Speed isn’t going anywhere on such a frail Pokemon. Optimized Farfetch’d has a new useful offensive typing as well as new STABs to match. Super Luck doubles its critical hit ratio, giving it a 100% crit chance when holding a Stick and using an attack with an increased crit ratio. STAB Drill Run and Cross Chop both fit this well, with Stone Edge for crit hax coverage against Flying types. Swords Dance can go into its last moveslot to make its crits even harder to survive.

Dunsparce [Optimized]
Abilities
: Serene Grace / Shield Dust / Rattled (HA)
Stats: 120 HP / 90 Atk / 90 Def / 65 SpA / 85 SpD / 55 Spe | BST: 505
Added Moves: Tremor*
Summary of Changes: +20 HP, +20 Atk, +20 Def, +20 SpD, +10 Spe

Tremor*: Ground-type Iron Head, no contact

Dunsparce gains a useful secondary typing with a custom STAB to abuse Serene Grace further.

Delibird [Optimized]
Abilities
: Vital Spirit / Hustle / Magic Bounce (HA)
Stats: 75 HP / 55 Atk / 75 Def / 85 SpA / 75 SpD / 115 Spe | BST: 480
Added Moves: Toxic Spikes, Stealth Rock, Sticky Web, Taunt
Summary of Changes: +30 HP, +30 Def, +20 SpA, +30 SpD, +40 Spe

Delibird can now set many hazards for its team while repeling opposing hazards and status moves with Magic Bounce. It didn’t really need its secondary Flying typing which gave it a 4x weakness to Stealth Rock, preventing it from switching in consistently to spin away hazards.

Spinda [Optimized]
Abilities
: Own Tempo / Tangled Feet / Contrary (HA)
Stats: 80 HP / 100 Atk / 80 Def / 60 SpA / 80 SpD / 100 Spe | BST: 500
Added Moves: Play Rough, Stumble Punch*
Summary of Changes: +20 HP, +40 Atk, +20 Def, +20 SpD, +40 Spe

Stumble Punch*: Fairy-type Hammer Arm that also lowers user’s Attack by 1 stage

Optimized Spinda has a secondary Fairy typing to provide a useful STAB along with a new custom move. Contrary STAB Stumble Punch boosts its Atk and Spe upon use while Superpower provides a powerful coverage move.

Stunfisk [Optimized]
Abilities
: Sand Stream / Unaware / Sand Veil (HA)
Stats: 109 HP / 66 Atk / 100 Def / 101 SpA / 110 SpD / 32 Spe | BST: 518
Added Moves: Shore Up, Volt Switch, Haze
Summary of Changes: +16 Def, +20 SpA, +11 SpD

Stunfisk saw some success due to its bulk, but it wished it wasn’t so passive. Optimized Stunfisk gains Sand Stream along with Shore Up to provide great recovery in sand. Its bulk was increased further to make it harder to take down while its special attack was increased so it’s no longer free for opposing attackers to switch into. If sand is not needed, it can be a bulky Unaware wall as well, with Haze to stop set up attackers.

Dunsparce [Optimized]
Abilities: Serene Grace / Rattled / Elusive* (Hidden)
*Elusive: Immune to any move with less than 100% accuracy
Stats: 150/100/100/100/100/50 (600)
Added Moves: Poison Fang
Summary of Changes: +50 HP, +30 Atk and Def, +35 SpA and SpD, +5 Speed
I don't know why everyone is so obsessed with changing Dunsparce's type. It's a perfectly good type. Elusive helps it with its Fighting weakness, making it immune to High Jump Kick and Focus Blast, among other moves. Drastically enhanced bulk makes Dunsparce difficult to kill. On Serene Grace sets, Poison Fang is basically a tauntproof Toxic with chip damage. Finally, decent offenses mean Dunsparce isn't taunt bait, though not sure why it would be.

Justification: Ground/Electric is a very interesting type combination, it’s a shame that Stunfisk sucks. With Regenerator like in Theorymon, a recovery move and more hazards to set, this strange fish becomes the king of annoyers, being able to inflict statuses and stall opponents.
A calc:
252+ Atk 175AtkGroundTypeMon Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Abomasnow: 348-410 (76.6 - 90.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after hail damage and Leftovers recovery

I can't wait to see what people come up with when Luvdisc's on the slate.

|

Solrock [Optimized]
Abilities: Levitate / Magic Guard
Stats: 90/125/115/55/95/70 (550 BST)
Added Moves: Bulk Up
Summary of Changes: +30 Atk, +30 Def, +30 SpD
Description: Solrock's main problem was its subpar typing both offensively and defensively. With a new Fire/Rock typing and improved offenses and defenses, it can better handle the meta thanks to it now having many resistances, especially with Levitate nullifying Ground-type attacks or Magic Guard for more offensive sets.

Stats: 90 HP / 55 Atk / 90 Def / 120 SpA / 110 SpD / 80 Spe | BST: 545
Added Moves: Night Daze, Dark Pulse, Dazzling Gleam, Defog
Summary of Changes: +25 Def, +25 SpA, +25 SpD, +10 Spe

Lunatone was heavily overshadowed by better Psychic-types like Mesprit, Grumpig, and Mr. Mime in PU. Optimized Lunatone gets a full type change to the unique Dark/Fairy, representing the new and full moons and having almost perfect neutral STAB coverage. Lunatone has a wide range of other coverage moves like Earth Power and Ice Beam that can be used to hit lots of different opponents. While Levitate is never bad, Magic Bounce allows Lunatone to repel hazards and status while setting up or putting down its own Stealth Rock.

Solrock [Optimized]
Abilities
: Levitate / Drought (HA)
Stats: 90 HP / 120 Atk / 110 Def / 55 SpA / 90 SpD / 80 Spe | BST: 545
Added Moves: Fire Lash, Solar Blade, Defog
Summary of Changes: +25 Atk, +25 Def, +25 SpD, +10 Spe

Solrock was in a similar position as Lunatone, though it had decent physical bulkiness with reliable recovery and Will-O-Wisp. However, Optimized Solrock gains Drought to set sun, which reduces its 4x weakness to Water and powers up it Fire STABs. While Rock/Fire is a notoriously bad defensive typing, Rock/Fire STABs with Grass or Ground coverage hit practically everything for at least neutral damage. It can even utilize Explosion to punch holes or remove an opponent’s Pokemon, potentially eliminating the hazard setter or remover.
Solrock @ Life Orb
Ability: Drought

Jolly Nature
- Flare Blitz / Fire Lash

Name: Solrock [Optimized]
Stats: 120/120/115/55/65/72 (+30 HP, +25 Atk, +30 Def, +2 Spe, BST 547)
Ability: Levitate (HA: Flash Fire)
Typing:

New Moves: Curse, Flame Charge, Heat Crash, Play Rough, Recover, Swords Dance, Spikes
Justification: Solrock, despite receiving a decent stat buff in Generation VII, still is held back by a terrible typing and poor base stats. A Rock-Fairy typing gives it only 4 weaknesses, compared to 7 with its old typing. Levitate is already useful, but being the first non-Fire type to get Flash Fire increases Solrock's unpredictability. Its stat spread (inspired by Hippowdown), gives it more physical bulk than Zygarde while also letting it hit hard. The extra 2 points in Speed let it beat Pokémon such as Skarmory, Magearna, and Tyranitar. Solrock also receives physical Fairy STAB, Spikes, Curse, and Swords Dance to play with. Finally, Solrock gains Heat Crash and Flame Charge, which helps it beat its 4x weakness to Steel-types and use Flash Fire effectively.

I'm also going to follow Origin0 and include Sample sets. Hopefully my justifications won't be as long.

Name: Lunatone [Optimized]
Stats: 90/55/65/140/120/82 (+45 SpA, +35 SpD, +12 Spe, BST 552)
Ability: Levitate (HA: Dark Aura)
Typing:

New Moves:
Dark Pulse, Focus Blast, Lunar Dance, Moongiest Beam, Nasty Plot, Night Daze
Justification: Just like Solrock, Lunatone is another Pokémon that had nothing that separate it from other Rock- and Psychic-types. Gaining a Dark-typing gives Lunatone good STAB coverage while also reducing the amount of weaknesses it has. A massive increase to Lunatone's base Special Attack makes it a fearsome wallbreaker, while it also has better Special Defense to set up on threats. Dark Aura gives Lunatone monstrously powerful Dark moves, while the extra Speed lets it beat major competition in Hoopa-U. Lunatone also now has Fighting- and Ghost-type coverage to go along its old Psychic-moves. Finally, Lunatone gets Nasty Plot to set-up on defensive Pokémon, and Lunar Dance to give it more team support.

Lunatone @ Choice Specs
Ability: Dark Aura
EVs: 4 Def/ 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dark Pulse / Night Daze
- Psychic
- Focus Blast / Moonblast
- Moongeist Beam / Ancient Power / Lunar Dance

Lunatone @ Life Orb
Ability: Dark Aura / Levitate
EVs: 4 Def/ 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Dark Pulse / Night Daze

Solrock [Optimized]
Stats:
100 HP / 125 Atk / 115 Def / 55 SpA / 75 SpD / 90 Spe
Abilities: Levitate / Rock Head
Moves Added: +Heat Crash, +Head Smash, +Recover, +Accelerock

So Solrock is a powerful physical attacker, who can chose between spamming Rock Head Flare Blitz and Head Smash, or use its respectable weight to run Heat Crash + Stone Edge with Levitate to provide it an immunity. It is notable that it walls Landorus-T with Levitate. It can also utilize powerful priority to revenge kill alot of threatening Pokemon.

Lunatone [Optimized]
Stats:
100 HP / 55 Atk / 75 Def / 125 SpA / 115 SpD / 90 Spe
Abilities: Levitate / Technician
Moves Added: +Ancient Power, +Recover, + Nasty Plot, +Defog

Lunatone is a great special wallbreaker with reliable recovery, which helps it to have a wide range of Pokemon it can threaten. Defog allows it provide a great means of hazard control in the metagame. Technician sets can run useful Hidden Powers to lure would be checks, and Ancient Power becomes a threatening tool.
