Gen 6 ORAS OU Bangladeshi Offense - Peaked at number 1

Introduction

Hey! After recently getting back to playing pokemon due to the corona virus situation, I started to dapple around in my old favourite tier: ORAS OU. After a couple of fun games with my old pal Zar, we started to go over some old teams we used to ladder with back in 2015. After going through some old replays we found our old favourite team: Zarif's Bangladeshi offense. Zarif, former star for the bangladeshi wcop team, has never been known for his team building skills. However, one morning in the summer of 2015 he came up with a godly mix of 6 pokemon seen above. This team at first was laughed at by the majority of the members of the pokemon clan we were part of at the time until a user named Isza saw something special in it and created his own version of it, still using the same 6 mons and this version of the offense was heavily used by our friend group.

confide: what do u do when u see a lati
azelea: u sack something
Zarif: thats where the bangladeshi part comes confide
Zarif: just like how bangladeshis have nothing to eat
Zarif: that team also has nothing that can eat anything from lati

Teambuilding Process

The current updated verson of this team was created by the user TheThorn, who to his defense thinks it's absolutely horrible. To why these 6 pokemon: I can't get really to the mind inside the genius of Zar who gave me the permission to share this team, and honestly if you would ask him he wouldn't know either. Only thing that's important is that the team has 0 Lati switchins and 0 Fairy resists, but still it somehow still works with the current ladder metagame. To the teams credit it's very hazard friendly due to none of it's pokemon being weak to hazards, which in turn allows the user to double switch constantly even with the hazards being up.

The Team

Lopunny @ Lopunnite

Ability: Limber

Nature: Jolly

EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

Moves: High Jump Kick | Ice Punch | Fake Out | Return

Lopunny is the main sweeper/cleaner for the team. It's high speed and powerful stab moves allow it to clean against opposition after some of it's checks such as clefable and slowbro have been taken out. Fake out provides some necessary priority to help deal with the overwhelming priority spam on the ladder. It also creates a great synergy with the healing wish latias, which can bring it back to life after dealing with rocky helmet users such as garchomp and ferrothorn.

Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers

Ability: Levitate

Nature: Bold

EVs: 252 HP / 244 Def / 12 Spe

IVs: 0 Atk

Moves: Hydro Pump | Volt Switch | Thunder Wave | Pain Split

Rotom works as the talonflame and sandrush exca check while also providing great type coverage and twave support. The main idea of this team is to spam twave with rotom and latias to cripple the opposing threats, allowing zam, m-lop and bisharp to clean easier

Landorus-Therian @ Earth Plate

Ability: Intimidate

Nature: Adamant

EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

Moves: Earthquake | U-turn | Stone Edge | Stealth Rock

Landorus-T obviously provides rocks, but at the same time it's offensive pressure helps dealing with threats such as clefable which with the zero fairy resists becomes a major threat at team preview

Latias @ Colbur Berry

Ability: Levitate

Nature: Timid

EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 Spe

IVs: 0 Atk

Moves: Ice Beam | Thunder Wave | Defog | Healing Wish

Latias provides H-wish, twave and defog support for the sweepers. Ice beam allows it to check dangerous threats such as gliscor.

Alakazam @ Life Orb

Ability: Magic Guard

Nature: Timid

EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

IVs: 0 Atk

Moves: Psychic | Focus Blast | Shadow Ball | Encore

Zam is a versitile sweeper, that can break the current defensive cores very easily. Encore also allows it to deal better with a huge threat that is mega slowbro

Bisharp @ Black Glasses

Ability: Defiant

Nature: Adamant

EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe

Moves: Sucker Punch | Knock Off | Swords Dance | Iron Head

ORAS Bisharp is just broken and can win the game at any point, you should always try to preserve it for the right time to set up. It's also your only "Dragon resist" if that means anything, although you can usually bluff pursuit and manage to kill the latios

Conclusion

You probably shouldn't use this team outside ladder surrounding since it has tons of holes, but when it comes to dealing with the basic sand teams and basic mega metagross offenses it handles them amazingly well which makes it perfect for the uninnovative ladder environment.

Obviously Zar for creating this team and being a cool friend, TheThorn for fixing the EV's and modifying it to suit the current non 2015 metagame better and finally the whole WoA clan, you know who you are :)
