Gliscor presents itself as a dominant setup sweeper in ORAS OU in addition to being a blanket check to a plethora of threats in the metagame due to its fantastic bulk and typing. Gliscor is also very useable on just about every archetype in ORAS OU, thus making it very versatile. Swords Dance allows Gliscor to function as a breaker versus bulky teams. Roost gives Gliscor a form of recovery in addition to Poison Heal. Gliscor functions well with Spikes support from both Ferrothorn and Skarmory. Pokemon such as Rotom-W, Slowbro, Mega Latias, and Mega Scizor are able to patch up Gliscor's weakness to Ice- and Water-type moves from the likes of Keldeo, Weavile, and Mega Latias. Magnezone is a fantastic teammate to pair with Gliscor as it is able to trap and get rid of Skarmory which counters Gliscor. Tornadus-T is able to switch into threats such as Serperior, Keldeo, and Choice Specs Latios, which all threaten Gliscor.
