Hey there guys, kinda new to posting here. This is one of two teams I wanted to post here for some feedback. I'm still pretty new to team building for singles, so I'm not entirely sure of common threats in PU and such, so any feedback is welcomed and appreciated. I did sort of build this team more around Pokemon I like rather than Pokemon that are the best of the best.
Anyway, on with the team.

Let me know what you guys think, maybe test it out yourself and let me know the results.
I've had a pretty good run with it, but thats been low ladder so I have no idea how well it holds up against higher ladder teams.
Anywho, thanks for giving this a read.
And to those of you who might know me through my association through a certain YouTube who shall not be named, I ask of you to ignore that association. It isn't a thing anymore.
Anyway, on with the team.
The Core
Furfrou (F) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Fur Coat
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spe
Impish Nature
- Return
- Toxic/Thunder Wave
- Cotton Guard
- Rest
Furfrou is often overlooked in terms of being a wall due to the lack of recovery, but what's also overlooked is its ability, Fur Coat, and how well it works with Cotton Guard. Furfrous high base speed means it can outspeed a surprising number of things even without investment. Cotton Guard puts the stop on set up physical sweepers, and because of how the ability works Furfrou will be taking less damage when both it and the enemy are at +6 than if they were at +0. Only issue is critical hits, but that's just RNG. With Rocky Helmet, Furfrou can continue to pressure physical attackers while asleep. Basically, if you can remove the special attackers, Furfrou will clean the game up for you.
Toxic is preferred to break down enemy walls, but Thunder Wave can work too.

Floette @ Eviolite
Ability: Flower Veil
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Moonblast
- Giga Drain/Toxic/Protect
- Synthesis/Wish
- Aromatherapy/Calm Mind/
Floette paired well with Furfrou, being a very bulky special wall that resists its only weakness. Misdreavus looked good on paper, being immune to fighting, but Floette also provides a resistance to dark and bug while not getting wrecked by a surprise knock off. Aroma/Heal Bell also pairs well with Furfrou, who often has to switch out while asleep. If this isn't a worry, however, Calm Mind can help put pressure down. Floette can hit surprising hard with Moonblast. Giga Drain on that last slot gave this team a way to deal with water and ground types, but you can easily replace it with Toxic or Protect.
Synthesis is the chosen recovery move for being a bit more reliable than Wish, but Wish can help Floette support the team even more.

The Sweepers
Haunter (F) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Sludge Bomb/Sludge Wave
- Shadow Ball
- Dazzling Gleam/Psychic
- Trick/Destiny Bond
I decided Haunter would be a good Ghost to bring, as it paired up REALLY well with my the wall core. Immune to Fighting, quad resistant to poison and can be supported by Floette's resistance to Dark types. Modest Scarf to get as much power out of it while still being quick. I tried Destiny Bond on it for a fast 1 for 1, usually my way of stopping a sweeper I know I can't 1 shot, but I ended up having more success with Trick.
Ninetales (F) @ Charcoal/Passho Berry
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Flamethrower/Fire Blast
- Energy Ball
- Psyshock/Shadow Ball
- Nasty Plot
The other type I had to cover was steel, and I love Flash Fire Ninetales. Not only does it tackle the steel type weakness well, but it meant I could run a fire weakness or two to bait out those juicy fire moves. Charcoal can help to boost its fire type moves, but Passho berry lets Ninetales take a water attack to deal with bulky water and ground types that this team otherwise has no real answer too.
The Wall Breakers
Sneasel @ Focus Sash
Ability: Pickpocket/Inner Focus
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance/Toxic
- Taunt/Toxic
- Ice Shard
- Knock Off/Ice Punch/Icicle Crash
My first wall breaker I wanted to be able to lure in fire type attacks. Being a frail Pokemon, most walls felt comfortable switching into it. Knock Off is the dark STAB of choice to remove leftovers and black sludges, preferably on the switch in, and then Taunt prevents the wall from being able to do much else. If it carries a fire move to deal with Ferroseed and such then Ninetales can easily switch in. Otherwise you should get a free Swords Dance. Ice Shard worked well as Ice STAB, dealing heavy damage at +2, although with a high base speed Ice Punch/Crash works well too. You can also run Toxic on it to nail walls on the switch, wearing them down as you set up a Dance or switch into a mon that can better deal with it.
Torterra (F) @ Choice Band
Ability: Overgrow
EVs: 8 HP / 252 Atk / 248 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Wood Hammer
- Earthquake
- Crunch
- Stone Edge
Last but not least, I wanted to throw Torterra on the team as a simple powerhouse. Weavile isn't too good at dealing with physical walls, but Torterra is able to 2-3HKO most, if not all the PU walls with Wood Hammer, making it a walls worst nightmare. It also provided me with another fire weakness to lure in fast fire types for Ninetales. Tort can easily switch in on rock and ground type moves as well, which might cause some problems for Ninetales if Haunter is down.
